Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf - San Francisco

Die Zimmer sind ziemlich klein für US-Verhältnisse aber sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Bad ebenso. Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Schade, dass das Hotel kein wirklich eigenes Restaurant hat. Die Produkte von der Coffee-Theke sind sehr teuer aber man kann sich sehr günstig im nahe gelegenen Safe-Way eindecken. Das machten so ziemlich alle Gäste im Hotel. Gesamthaft würde ich dem Hotel eine gute 7 von 10 Punkten geben.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die "Naßzelle" ist nichts für breite Menschen.

für 2 Tage sightseeing in SFO ist dieses Hotel ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für viele Touristenattraktionen, Zimmer modern eingerichtet und sauber, nur die Eiswürfelmaschine auf dem Flur hat etwas genervt

Gutes Hotel, Zimmer ordentlich, leider viel zu kleines Badezimmer. Relativ laut (Klimaanlage, Strasse) aber die Lage ist einfach super. Minuspunkte: Parkgebühren in der Hotelgarage schmerzhaft hoch! (mit Tax fast 50 Dollar pro Tag!), Internetanschluss im Zimmer überteuert (15 Min. 5 Dollar). Pluspunkt - ein prima Pool.

Hotel ist ruhig und doch zentral gelegen. Ausser das Parken sehr teuer ist 50 USD ist alles absolut ok

Overall the best thing about this hotel is the locaton and fairly clean for a city. However, we did have them change the showeer liner because it was moldy. Also had to request towels and coffee several times because they weren't properly restocking items daily. The beds are very uncomfortable and are full size not queen. It 's definetly not a four star hotel, but I would give it a three star.

The room had a crazy blue and yellow color scheme that was obnoxious. No refrigerator in the room. Lousy view of an alley. Overall, it was not what was expected of a four star hotel.

$43 bucks to part, and 45 for a Coke. Be careful on the add ons. Wireless is not free except in the lobby.

Excellent location; no car needed Tastefully decorated rooms with ample space Food and beverages available in lobby Will stay here again on my next SF visit

A bit expensive but so is everything decent in the area. Please not parking is expensive and not included in the price. Would stay again but look at other parking options.

We were very happy with this hotel. Although we arrived before our 3 pm check-in time, the gentleman at the front desk told us that since our room was ready, we could go ahead and check in. That allowed us to head out and explore. The hotel is located within a couple of blocks of Fisherman's Wharf and the cable cars. This made it easy to explore as much as we wanted. The parking is very expensive, as it is at most hotels in this city, but at least the parking was directly under the hotel with easy elevator access if you needed something from your car. The room was bright and cheerful with very plush bedding and loads of pillows on each bed. The bathroom was pretty small, but we didn't spend much time there! All in all, this hotel is a great place to stay at a reasonable price. The staff were all quite nice to us, and the neighborhood felt quite safe to us - even when we returned on foot at 10 pm.

I spent three nights at the Sheraton Fisherman's Whar from Aug 19-22. The hotel is very nice. It's definitely a four star hotel but, there are some negatives to my stay as well as positives. I had a king size bed that was at the end of the hall of the hotel on the 2nd floor. The problem was that the room was right off a main street that was very noisey. There were buses passing by all day and night, at least every half hour. So, if you are a light sleeper, this would have drove you crazy. Also, the hotel room walls are very thin. The room next door to me had small children and they were constantly screaming, crying, playing, or singing loudly, which was very disturbing. Then, there was the parking fee of $43 per nite ......unbelievable!!! What was really nice was the free common area WiFi, the short distance from the wharf (2 blocks) and the outdoors fireplace. This was really relaxing.

Within easy access to most all tourist locations, this hotel was ideal. The only minus points would be the (un)friendliness of the hotel front desk staff. Not very courteous. Nevertheless, the rest of the staff more than made up for them!

If you're looking for the San Francisco tourist attractions this is a great place. Walking distance to the Wharf, muni, etc. Quick drive to Presidio and Golden Gate park. The rooms are not big, we had our 2 kids (10/12) and we were really on top of each other. Wish they had queen size beds instead of double and for some reason there are no towel racks or hooks in the sink area. But the service was very friendly and helpful and we got a good deal.

I didn't realize how close to Pier 39 it was located...IHOP right up the street...a couple of blocks away from a Starbucks...good location...good hotel...very happy.

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Fire pits outside reception with seating very cosy. Hardly waited at all to check in/check out. Funky decor throughout hotel. Staff very pleasant. Only downside was we found food/drinks bit pricey and beds bit hard.

we enjoyed the location because it is walking distance to several of the highlights of the city and especially so close to the fine restaurants.

The hotel representatives were unfriendly, the rooms took to almost 4 or later to be cleaned. The parking staff were not friendly, room service food extremely expensive and not very good. I would definately not stay there again.

Great Location but a very large hotel with people coming and going all the time on holiday and business.

great location very clean and comfortable

Great location for Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and cable cars. IHOP across the street for breakfast, and a Safeway also. Parking costs a lot, consider using public transportation. City Pass is a good way to go for attractions and transportation.

If I had to rate this hotel based on the rooms I would compare it to a Motel 6. It has become very ordinary, no refrigerator, microwave, tiny tiny bathroom and tiny sink area. The view from any of the rooms are either parking lots or streets, not one you would prefer to have staying near the wharf. The lobby and immediate outside areas were spacious and very glamorous.

This is right by Pier 39 without being on top of it, that means you can sleep at night. Many hotels in this area are never quiet. We will be staying there again.

Everything was great but you don't want to use this hotel if you are a light sleeper. We even asked to change room hoping that it would be better in a different one but it was not. All the windows are old and the cheapest kind that you can get. It really sounded like the windows were opened when they were closed. And the streets are just all around, wherever you are in the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location.

Excellent location. A little noisy by the street. Room very clean and modern. Staff was very professional. Food in the looby a little pricey.

This hotel was not worth the money! It was a non smoking room, that smelt so bad from years of smoking. We all had headaches! It was styled in CHEAP contemporary design that only aged the hotel more! Contemporary design can be done so much better! The beds were hard as a rock! The room was small with a vanity about 30" wide, and a bath that was so tiny the door could barely close. The location was right on the Warf. The concierge service was really helpful...they save this hotel!

I loved the hotel it was great!!! Nice spacious room and loved the bathroom nice comfy bed. Very close to everything we wanted to be close to. Everything was perfect until we checked out then we had to pay $98 for parking which we thought would be included with the room. Overall it was fantastic!

Hotel needed dinner restaurant and bar!! Hotel guests should get half of what it costs for parking, with hotel having public parking, make your money off of them. No gift shop!

The hotel is very well located, at walking distance from cable car, Fishermans Warf. I just left my car in the hotel. The parking fee is about $50, that is expensive but not unexpected. Very clean, and personnel very nice and helpful.

The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf was just about what we expected for what we paid. Parking is high but the location is great.

Even at a "discounted rate" the hotel was not worth the money, especially with the approx. $50.00 per day parking fee!
