Sehr freundliches Personal, Beistellbett für ein Kind wurde kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt. Fitness-Bereich auf dem neuesten Stand, Pool zwar älter, aber gut renoviert und gepflegt. Nette Bar im Stil eines englischen Pub. Frühstücksbuffett nicht spektakulär, aber gut. Kein freier Internet-Zugang ($ 13 pro Tag)

Klassisches Hotel mit ausreichend großen Zimmern, allerdings sehr kleinen Betten; Für 2 Erwachsene mit 2 Kindern eindeutig ungeeignet (trotz eindeutiger Buchung keine Aufbettung, sondern 2 schmale Einzelbetten)

Die Freundlichkeit Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals ist ausgezeichnet Stoerend nur dass in der Bar als Fassbier kein einheimisches sondern Warsteiner ausgeschenkt wird Raeume und Gaststaetten sehr gut Lage sehr zentral, alle interessanten Punkte sind gut zu erreichen Empfehlenswert auch der Sonntagsbrunch

Die Eigendarstellung des Hotels entspricht der Wirklichkeit. Das Sutton Place Hotel verbreitet eine europäische, oder besser gesagt britische Eleganz, die in einem anregenden Kontrast zur typisch nordamerikanischen Umgebung des Hauses steht. Trotz der Größe des Hotels empfindet man als Gast eine Behaglichkeit, die aus der gesamten Einrichtung des Hauses, vor allem aber aus dem perfekten Service resultiert. Von der Pforte über die Rezeption und das Restaurant bis hin zur Zimmeretage wird der Gast auf höchstem Niveau umsorgt. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Bei einem erneuten Aufenthalt in Vancouver würde ich mich sofort wieder für das Sutton Place Hotel entscheiden. Das Haus werde ich auch anderen Vancouver-Reisenden empfehlen.

Luxurious old world hotel in the middle of Vancouver downtown area. Rooms spacious and lobbies elegant. No complaints here.

Superb hotel, everyone very helpful with dinner reservations to tickets to attractions. Will return.

was pleaseantly surprised by the luxury of the hotel and comfort of the bed. the concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Used them for several recommendations that all turned out well. Convenient location to all of the sites.

Do not accept any room adjacent to the elevators as the noise from the cables in the elevator shaft will keep you up all night especially if you are a light sleeper. We ended up requesting a different room at 10:45 p.m. The hotel was very accommodating but the operator knew immediately where we were located by my complaint of the noise.

The Sutton Place Hotel is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of Vancouver. It was close enough to the harbor, Gastown and China town to walk and located right on the Trolley stop. The room, particularly the bathroom, was lovely. It had a wonderful view out over the city. Room service selections were limited and pricey but the food we ordered was delivered promptly, graciously and was delicious. We would definately stay here again.

I was able to book this hotel room when it was on sale, as it is above my price range otherwise. It was a wonderful stay. I was in Vancouver for a conference at a different hotel. I only stayed for a night and wish that the conference had been at this hotel instead. It was very near everything!

Great location, great service/staff, and first class accomodations. This property is considered 5-star in many ratings services and it delivered. Only downside was the $30 parking per day.

This hotel provided one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have stayed in. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The bedroom had no window, but this was proved advantageous, as the room was dark at night and the air con. provided ample room temperature control. The bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We didnt rate this hotel for service; it was very impersonal and the staff were not friendly.

This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel, and we've always liked it here. In fact, every time we visit Vancouver, we make sure to always stay here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We took our 10-month-old baby with us, and they made sure we had a corner (or close to it) room, so we wouldn't feel self-conscious if our baby made any loud noises.

Beautiful hotel and great room. The service was outstanding and always very helpful. It was in a perfectly central location within Vancouver. Very highly recommended!

Service and location are both very good.

We stayed 2 nights. our room was on 12th floor. beautiful view, very luxury and comfortable bed. tall windows. extremely friendly and polite staff. The location was also good. Overall, everything was excellent about this hotel. I really recommand this hotel

The bad: 1) TV remote did not work, and despite having a repairman in and out of our room for an hour one morning it could not be fixed 2) Despite being a non-smoking hotel, woke up at 4am to the intense smell of smoke from the people in our conjoining room. 3) Fees, fees, fees! $30 to park, $15 for internet, $3 for additional "complimentary" coffee in the room. They will nickel and dime you to death! 4) When went to check out, had a phone call we did not make on the bill, and they tried to charge us for 2 internet connections. Glad I looked at it before I signed it! The good: 1) Great location 2) Staff was very friendly and accommodating when we told them about our problems 3) Awesome pool & hot tub 4) Amazing sunday brunch buffet

This is a centrally located hotel in walking distance to ocean front, restaurants and shopping. Hotel and quality of service was outstanding

We had such a great time at this hotel. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The food and chocolate buffet at the hotel restaurant were excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable. The location was the best. It is only three blocks from the sky train and about six from gas town. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Vancouver.

Really earns its rating. Gorgeous hotel, great service, in one of the best parts of Vancouver.

The Sutton Place is a really wonderful hotel. Staff was very helpful. Rooms are gorgeous! Location is wonderful.

This hotel is ideally located. It is close to shopping, the Sky Train, restaurants and Post Office. For all we wanted to do on this short trip to Vancouver, everything was within walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

From Nov 2008: The Vida Spa at The Sutton Place Hotel - Vancouver is not to be missed. The staff at the Sutton Place were very friendly and helpful. The location is 1 block from Robson St, where all of the shops are, especially the delicious Crepes Cafe.
