Schönes, großes, nett eingerichtetes Zimmer, gutes Bad, exzellentes Bett. Alles gut. Eigentlich auch die Lage - Gastown in Chinatown inder einen und der Shopping District in der anderen Richtung sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Aber die Aussicht direkt auf das Stadiondach und ein eher industriell geprägtes Gebiet ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, und man ist auch schon sehr nahe an der durch die Homeless People geprägten Hastings Street. Von daher nichts für Leute, die die Idylle suchen.

I cannot find anything negative to say about the excellent hotel. All requests were dealt speedily by the friendly staff. On the city tour route and a short walk to Canada Place, ok location great. For a football game it's even better, the stadium is directly opposite.

This is a good hotel. We travelled with 3 children and they happily provided a cot-bed. The breakfast is over-priced but there are plenty of places nearby. Good place to people spot as BC place is opposite. The adjoining bar serves a good traditional ale!

The amenities were somewhat wanting: flakey internet access, TV remote was missing a battery, bathroom fan was not working. On the plus side, the hotel staff was very friendly.

Even with the "makeover" refurbishing going on in preparation for next year's Olympics, the Georgian Court was a delightful haven for our three days in Vancouver. The beds were luxurious, the room always clean and welcoming. The staff was polite and helpful, answering our many questions and providing maps and directions daily. We didn't take advantage of the William Tell restaurant or the pub, but thoroughly enjoyed breakfast every morning in the Bistro -- especially chats with our engaging server, Patrick. A Cubs fan!

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The beds were great. Location was good.

Convenient to everything. Water, downtown - lots of shoppping, restaurants.

The hotel had a great room. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. The large flat screen tv was a real bonus and the A/C worked well. The hotel parking fee was a bit pricy per night, since they add taxes and fees. The fee came out to be $14/ night Canadian.

The rennovation is nearly complete and it didn't spoil our stay at all. This hotel is located directly across the street from where the 2010 Olympics opening and closing ceremonies will take place. The location was very convenient for us both in terms of walking and using the public transportation. Several good restaurants are closeby. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel a lot.

Everything was fine -- their remodeling wasn't intrusive or inconvenient. The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is a bit sparse -- not at all a value for the price.

Everything was awesome. The location, the price, the cleanliness, the friendliness, etc...I recommend this hotel to others.

This was an excellent deal for the 5 nights we spent here. Convenient spot- near to Skytrain station, walking distance to Chinatown, Gastown, sea front and ferries, Robson St and all amenities. Staff helpful and informative. Hotel was just undergoing renovation but was nearly finished when we were there.

Gorgeous room, very clean, large bathroom and convenient parking! The staff was also very courteous and helpful.

The hotel (along with everything else in Vancouver!) was undergoing remodeling in preparation for the Olympics in 2010, but the room was extremely comfortable and sparkling clean.

Surprise surprise. I don't think it would be a bad idea to let potential clients know that the hotel is being renovated before they make a reservation. Continental breakfast would be nice too at this price.

Very nice hotel currently undergoing lobby and hallway renovations. Nice, well-appointed and upscale rooms. Excellent front desk staff who were extremely helpful to us regarding our travel arrangements and helping with local attractions. Importantly, this hotel is one of the bus stops for the local "Hop On/Hop Off" bus which circles Vancouver and is an excellent way to see the city. Cabs also out front of the hotel regularly. We considered this hotel to be outstanding in every way and when the renovations are finished it will be even nicer! Highly recommend it.

This hotel was an excellent find. Great staff, very clean. The room even had a small refrigerator, a tea kettle and a coffee maker. The amenities kit was Aveda, better than average. Best of all, they had free internet in the room, which was great for work. They have a hotel shuttle that will take you around downtown for free. The bed linens were all cotton, and the bed was comfortable.

This was a great hotel, very close to popular city spots. I went with a large group of friends and we were able to walk to Robson, and Granville in about 25 minutes. Great hotel, comfortable too! The front desk is not very informed though... we asked for recommendations, and they had none to give. So, use the complimentary internet and do a search yourself.

Everything was perfect! Definitley will stay here every time I come back to Vancouver BC!

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Staff was wonderful for the most part. Hotel was nearly full when we stayed b/c of hockey season, which meant all surrounding pubs were packed full of people. Nice central location, although gastown is a bit seedy so be prepared for being approached for money. Room has lots of natural light (great huge windows) and a tub big enough for two. Complimentary umbrellas were available and served us well. Very gay friendly. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to friends.

My husband and I stayed at the Georgian Court for two days over the New Year's holiday, and we had only one regret. Our room had a view on the CBC building, which produced a constant level of massive noise (it sounded like a generator to us). Make sure you request a room with a view on Beattie street, so as to get a good night's sleep (or bring your earplugs, like we did). Other than that, we loved everything about this hotel.

My wife and I had a romantic 4-day getaway in Vancouver and found the Georgian Court to very nice for the price and very centrally located. We parked our car in the onsite garage (which was reasonable) and didn't have to drive again until we left. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the hotel sauna/jacuzzi was also very nice. The onsite restaurant, the William Tell, was a total splurge but worth it. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms were really comfortable and the parking is a steal at $10 a day. The staff don't seem to like hotels.com customers but they were nice enough.

room was generally quite clean. neighborhood was good. however, the coffee maker in the room had fungus inside (hadn't been cleaned for ages). also note that they charge extra $10 + tax per day for parking.

Our two-night stay was excellent in every way. Staff attentive. Room comfortable and clean - relatively spacious for a downtown hotel.

I am so glad I decided to stay at the Georgian Court Hotel. I read so many different reviews on hotels in Vancouver, it was a hard decision... but I didn't go wrong with this hotel. It was very clean with super comfortable beds and great Italian coffee in the room. The bathing products were wonderful too. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and was able to walk about the city without any problems. If I make it back to Vancouver, I will definitely stay at the Georgian again. The people at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The Bistro was a fabulous place to eat right out of the lobby.

I travel over twenty weeks a year and stay in dozens of hotels each year. I was totally satisfied with The Georgian Court hotel. It was easy to find, had onsite parking and the restaurants were superb. The folks at the desk were warm and friendly. I did lots of research before making my reservations in Vancouver and am convinced that we made absolutely the right decision. Strongly recommend.

The Georgian was a great place to stay. We were on the 10th floor with a view of BC Place and a beautiful sunrise! The staff was helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is very well situated -- walking distance to Yaletown restaurants, Robson St. shopping and Chinatown. We were able to walk to the Yaletown ferry stop to get to Granville Island quickly as well. The room was very clean, with nice linens, and they offered Aveda products in the bathroom. They also offered free wireless in the room, which is a huge plus. My only complaint is that the hotel only offered us double beds at our price point - I always thought a queen size was the standard. We felt pretty cramped.

The hotel was in a perfect location for our visit. Close to restaurants and shopping and right across the street from BC stadium. Our room was clean, staff was helpful, the hotel had a restaurant and bar that was more than adequate. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
