Resort at Port Arrowhead - Lake Ozark

Great lake view, hotel needs some maintenance and improvements. Too expensive for the facilities.

Although billed as a"resort", this is really more what one might expect of a mid-priced motel. The room was adequate but small and located at the back of the secondary building. The restaurant/bar has outdoor seating and a nice view of the lake, and the staff there was very friendly. The outdoor pool area looked nice but this and the indoor pool were the only "resort" amenities, other than shuffleboard, that I noticed. Poolside accommodations could be a draw for families with kids but I wouldn't recommend it for others.

The room was small the bathroom was tight and it was not a 3 star hotel. The people were very nice and friendly.

The drains were clogged and when I first arrived, there were a few spiders--other than that, it was a great stay! The staff is super friendly, plus for a business traveler, having access to free printers, a fax machine, copy machine, and wireless internet is a plus.

The rooms are very dated and small. The rooms had bugs crawling on the floors near the beds and bathroom. The sidewalks outside the rooms were not maintained; had lots of dried up worms on the sidewalks. The rooms are definitely overpriced. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone; definitely stay away. Don't ruin your vacation.

My husband, two small daughter and I stayed in a standard room with two double beds for three nights. The room was ready when we checked in (half an hour early). It was clean, although a bit dated looking. The bathroom was very small, but it was also clean. It was nice to have the refrigerator, microwave and high speed internet access. The only downside was that our air conditioner never seemed to get the room quite cool enough. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

the hotel was very nice and everything was good except for the bed it was a killer on my husband's and my back we only stayed 2 nights and that's all my back could take. Other than that it was a very pleasant enviroment and the surroundings were quite nice the location is central to everything, there was an indoor pool which was heated and was very relaxing or you could go outside to one of the 2 outdoor pools kind of chilly when we were there, there is a restaurant on the premises which was also very nice to go to we sat outside on the deck and had a very nice dinner at sunset.

The rooms were a bit small for a family...two was perfect. I can't imagine having more though. The bed was great for sleeping...like a 5 star. We'll be back!

Very hilly location. Steps to everywhere. No elevator. If you are physically limited, as I am, this is not the place for you.

I have stayed at this hotel over the past two summers and will make the same trip again next summer. Everything was great....

In the first room I stayed in, when I woke up in the morning to shower, the cold water didn't work and the knob wouldn't lift up. No shower. They moved us later that evening across the hall. The next morning, the shower knob lifted, but I still had no cold water. I had to turn it way down and stand under a drizzle so that I could at least get clean. The safe didn't work in our first room, either. In our second room, the clock was off by two hours and I didn't realize it until I missed the conference I was attending the next morning.
