MGM Grand Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

Sicher ein tolles Hotel. War uns allerdings zu gross und unübersichtlich. Viel zu lange Wege, bis man da hin kommt, wo man hin will.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, dass wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Tolles Hotel, super schöne Zimmer, leise Klimaanlage. sehr gut am Las Vegas Blvd gelegen. Alle interessanten Hotels zu Fuß erreichbar. Der buffetpreis ist mit 30 $ etwas happig, aber nur auf den ersten Blick. Dafür kann man zu jeder Tageszeit ein- und ausgehen und erneut speisen. Also zum Frühstück, zum Dinner etc. Dadurch relativiert sich das Ganze wieder.

Riesiges Haus,unpersönlich,Poolanlage unattraktiv,mehrere Pools,aber bis auf einen um 18 Uhr Pools geschlossen und das bei über 30 Grad.Entfernung zwischen Parkhaus und Lobby satte 10-15 Minuten Fußweg.

Einfach eines der vielen sehr große u guten Hotels in Las Vegas. Es liegt nicht im Herzen des Strips - da würde ich evtl. das Bellagio empfehlen wenn für den gleichen Preis zu haben. Je nach Zimmerlage stören ggf. ein bißchen die landenden Flieger wegen der unmittelbaren Flughafennähe.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, gross, hell mit Sicht auf das Rollfeld des Flughafens. Leider starker Heli-Fluglärm direkt über dem Hotel.

Waren 2 Tage dort. Der Pool ist riesig und klasse angelegt. Die Zimmer sind auch groß und man merkt ein wenig von dem luxus. Jedoch zeigt sich das alter der zimmer so langsam... Pokern (Cashgame gespielt) ist angenehm dort und vorallem wird auch ein niedriges limit, NL200 angeboten (also 2dollar bigblind).

Excellenter Service beim Check-In, super leckeres Frühstücksbuffet

tolles Ambiente,sehr gepflegt. Hotel hat eigene Monorail Station. Gehobene Gastronomie, aber auch Fastfood zu moderaten Preisen. Poolbereich sehr laut und voll!

Für Familie mit 2 Kindern (11+7) riesiges unpbersichtliches Hotel. Lange Warteschlangen an der Rezeption. Poollandschaft nett, aber lieblos und dreckig, Müll liegt rum. Die Löwen hinter Glasscheiben waren für uns alle toll! Besser waren jedoch die Tiger und Delfine im Mirage.

Gute Auswahl an Restaurants und Unterhaltung. Sehr gute Verbindung zu anderen Casinos mit der Monorail die hinterm Hotel abfährt.

Ich war jetzt das zweite mal und werde immer wieder ins MGM gehen!Superschöne Zimmer,super Service,gutes Büffet (etwas Teuer im Vergleich zu den anderen am Strip) tolle Restaurants, schöne Poolanlage und Bars,grosses Bad...also absolut Top für den Preis!Wer das erste mal in Las Vegas ist und in die Lobby läuft,wird den Mund erstmal nicht mehr zubekommen!

Hotel entspricht voll dem, was man sich vom größten Hotel der Welt erwartet. Freundlicher Check in, großes Casino, direkt am Strip. Zimmer sehr sauber.

Fitness sollte für die Hotelgäste gratis sein. Wenn nicht möglich ein Pauschalpreis für dem gesamten Aufenthalt zB $35.00.

Wir haben unter der Woche in der "Celebritiy SPA Suite" geschlafen und das dank Hotels.com zu einem supergünstigen Preis! Es gab einen Whirlpool im Bad und das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Ebenso ein bequemes Riesenbett. Die Möbel waren zwar nicht nagelneu, aber man hatte schon ein "Hotelsuite-Prominentenfeeling". Alles in allem sehr gut und zu empfehlen.

Wer eine anonyme, hochwwertige Bleibe sucht, inmitten des besseren Teil des Strips logieren will und noch ein Etat für die recht kostspieligen Restaurants im Hause hat ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Keinen großen Ausreisser nach oben abe auch nicht nach unten

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und hat alles was man braucht.Es wird nicht viel besseres geben.

Hotel was OK - we stayed three nights but as one of the largest in Vegas it is busy and lots of queuing for breakfast etc/

Just a note to say that this hotel is amazing and is by far the best hotel on the strip! apart from being the biggest hotel in the world it is def is the best in vegas! we went on 6 sept 09 for our honeymoon and couldnt have been happier, we visited all the other hotels in our week and was so happy with our choice 100% recommended and will be going back!

when we arrived we were impressed with the size of the hotel, however our bedroom was very basic. We were inVegas for a family wedding with the family staying in various hotels - all the others had flat screen tvs, separate baths and showers, separate toilets, ours had small bath with shower over and wc in bathroom, after a while we realised MGM is not as grand as it should be, there is very little to do there, they even charge for the use of inflatible rings for the lazy river in the pool, even the lions are not on display all day, and who wants to watch lions sleeping all day! Other hotels are far superior, with more going on apart from casinos, and are also more inexpensive than the MGM. Try Planet HOllywood - much beter than the MGM.

First of all my wife and I booked a room at the West wing of the MGM with a king size bed. Well, MGM gave us a room in the East side of the MGM with two queen size beds. The two queen size beds we did not mind but being moved to the other side of the hotel was unacceptable. We tried to get a room on the West side, which was the strip side but was unable to. Overall my wife and I will probably not stay at the MGM in the future.

After paying extra for an upgraded room (higher "quality" though smaller) in the hotel's "West Wing", we immediately regretted out decision. The room is tiny with the bathroom pretty much open to the main room and front door (there is no bathroom door). Combine that with the glass shower and toilet stall and you can imagine that there's not much privacy. Detracting from the already small size of the room was the even smaller window - which was high and out of reach. So, even if you do get a view nicer than of the wall of some random building (which we did not) you have to climb up on the bed just to see it. While the bed was quite comfortable and the large size of the shower very nice, the cleanliness of the room was sub-par. It was clear that only the high-traffic sections had been quickly cleaned. Dust bunnies were rampant in other, more remote sections of the room (like along the window that you can't see out of). The shower floor was also less than inviting as it looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in months. Additionally, while most of the hotel hallways are what you would expect in a casino (brightly colored and well lit) the West Wing hallways, by contrast, are dimly lit and have only dark, dreary colors. If you like the dungeon-feel, this is for you. It's like walking into the twilight zone, or some old black and white horror flick. On a positive note, the several pools, waterfalls, and lazy river are fantastic.

there were long waiting times at check-in despite 15 counters staffed. the swimming pools were totally overcrowded. the quality of the food was mediocre at best. All in all the hotel wasn't worth the money.

MGM is a well maintained and comfortable hotel to stay at with a mix if ages from early 20's to over 60's all having a great time right there at the hotel pool, nightclubs or shows. If you want to be in a hotel with a lot of activity and young people then stay at the MGM. I prefer to stay in the main hotel rather than the West wing as the rooms are much bigger. My only negative was that after staying for 8 days and extending my stay by 3 more days to go to a concert at the MGM I did not get any preferred rate and those 3 days actually costed about what I paid for the previous 8 days which I found quite unfair. Al in all, I like the MGM.

The hotel is beautiful inside. We went specifically for the concert there on Saturday night and are so glad that we stayed at that hotel. The room was in excellent condition. The hotel has about everything you would need for a weekend stay! Loved it! The only drawback was on Sunday when trying to check out not all of the elevators in our wing were up and running so it made it difficult to get an elevator. Other than that...loved it!!

it was a great buy ... we loved it!

It is definately a great room for the money, but needed a mirror in the main area of the bedroom so others can get ready without interupting someone in the bathroom. Also the rooms are far away from the pools especially the "Wet Republic" pool which is for adults. Other than that was a nice hotel and had a lot to see and do!

The West Wing King rooms are smaller, but still great for the price. The first night my room had a bad smell of smoke. I complained to the front desk and my room was promptly changed, no questions asked. I would stay here again as I have in the past.

pool sucks

We went to the MGM Grand with my two kids. it is a great hotel the staff are more then willing to make us all comfortable. childminding services are available on request. there is also a river to swim in at the hotel. but there is more stuff for kids to do at the circus circus or newyork newyork hotels. family stuff go elsewhere. i scored the cleanliness at 3 as i had to wash the icebucket and tray before i could use them as they were covered in sticky syrup. other then that great fun and enjoyment.

LOVED THE POOLS......

Everything was great about our stay except for the check in..The woman was not friendly- did not even smile. When we opened the door to our room, there was still another guest in the room. The hotel would not bring up a new room key- we had to go back down and wait in line again. The good news is, the new woman who checked us in was very friendly!

Hotel was nice, pool was good. Hotel seemed so spread out, it seemed like it took a long time to walk anywhere.

We couldn't believe the bargain we got through hotels.com. The moment we opened the door to our room my girlfriend and I just laughed and stood in disbelief. Absolutely stunning!!!! It puts other 4*'s to shame. A TV built into the bathroom mirror!!! We were in heaven.....and the beds...sooooo comfy. The whole room was very modern. We had to drag ourselves out to see the rest of Vegas. The restaurant was out of this world and the staff were great. MGM will be the first place we check into on our next trip to the USA.

Our first time at the MGM, and it was great! The bed was amazing!!! No aches and pains in the morning. It was as if we were sleeping in a cloud. At first I had my doubts because of the size of and huge parking structure(lots of walking), but it you park close to the escalators closest to the casino, it's a breeze. The only noticeable flaw was the pipes in the bathroom, you could hear the water when the visitors in the next room turned on the water.

We went to Vegas for a short girls weekend. We stayed at the hotel almost the whole time. We took a cab to another place for a concert, but we came right back as soon as the concert was over. We had a blast. The only complaint was we were on the 17th floor and the last day and a half there were only 3 of the 6 elevators working. It took forever to leave. There were about 50 people waiting on our floor at 11 a.m. on Sunday ready to leave and every elevator was packed. As soon as the staff realized what was happening, the quickly let us to the service elevators and had all of us down in 10 minutes. We had a ton of fun at Tabu and the pool. We had a blast! I wouldn't stay with kids, but for a fun getaway with friends it was great!
