190 The Gore - London

Intersting and convenient location, but fairly quiet. Very good bar with a lot of character. Hotel is comfortable, good lounge with tea, coffee, cake and biscuits. Room comfortable, not very large, a bit old-fashioned which is both good and bad depending what you like.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable. 190 The Gore is a beautiful hotel, full of charm and character, in a great location. All staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate in the Bistro and sampled room service, both were delicious so compliments to the chef. The room we stayed in had a comfortable queen sized bed and an ensuite shower room (no bath). It was quaint and well furnished but surprisingly noisy with the window open so I would recommend ear plugs at night. We were also very surprised to find that there were no tea making facilities in the room. However, complimentry tea, coffee, soft drinks, homemade biscuits and cake were available in the downstairs lounge. One other niggle was that the toilet in our room had an airlock and therefore a noisy feeble flush. I would definitely stay at The Gore again as after 5 days it felt like home.

Good location for museums, walks and shopping. Each room is unique and has a great character rather than so many of the bland rooms that you get with a big chain. Great bar, well stocked and a great choice of cocktails with a barman who knew his stuff.

Charming victorian hotel in the burough of chelsea and kensington. Close to the Tube subway for transportation all over London. Quite neighborhood and great hotel service. A little pricey by American Standards but the beautiful history of the area makes it all worth it.

We had a fantastic stay. The entire feel of the hotel was so "English". The staff was very attentive to all our needs and very friendly. We have been to London four times now and this is our favorite.

We had a wonderful stay at The Gore. The hotel is adorable. The staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was (suprisingly) excellent. The area is beautiful, and within walking distance of Knightsbridge, and Kensington. My only complaint was that the room was not quite as clean as I would have liked it, however the staff was quick to fix any problems. I would definatly stay at The Gore again.

The Hotel is full of character and is a refreshing change from the 'standard chain' establishments. The staff were very friendly and impressively the food was excellent. A Great base for exploring London and ideally situated for the Albert Hall

My room was small with very little closet space. The bed although advertised as a King size was not and was lumpy and hard. The hotel itself is very clean and interesting. The restaurant is good and not too expensive. The staff are polite and efficient. There is no parking in the area. On occasions, particularly at weekends, the hotel can be noisy with door slamming in the early hours. Overall I liked the hotel.

Our first impressions we not good, and we found the room size rather small which was unexpected for a building of this period and size, the service was also a bit variable but as our stay progressed we found the staff very helpful and eager to please. We also realised that we felt very comfortable hre and decided our fisrt imression was incorrect. The bistro accommodated us around show times and the food was excellent. We would go back there again

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful hotel 190 The Gore. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood down the street from Hyde Park . The hotel is very convenient to the bus stops which is a huge plus. The Gore is highly recommended.

Rolig beliggenhed. Jeg manglede muligheden for at lave te eller kaffe på værelset. Andre hoteller har en vandkoger stående på værelset med et udvalg af te og kaffe. Prisen var godt nok et tilbud da jeg afsted, men det kan alligevel undre at morgenmad ikke var inkluderet. Ligger lidt langt væk fra the Tube.

Jeg havde en god oplevelse af 4 dage på the Gore. Det er et lille hotel med god service. Værelset var ikke så stort men helt OK. Badeværelset var i en god kvalitet og der var rent. Der er meget roligt ved hotellet og der er gode bus forbindelser.

hyggelig og service innstilte personal. rommene er litt små men koselige.

Hotellet ligger perfekt med gångavstånd till det mesta. Jag har bott på mväldigt många hotell i mitt liv men aldrig varit i närheten av den service som erbjuds på The Gore! Sedan att hotellet är fantastiskt till utseende är inget minus. Rekommenderas starkt!!!
