Schönes Edles Hotel. Für eine Städtereise fast zu schade, da Hallenbad etc. dann eher nicht genutzt wird. Eher nicht für Familien geeignet, da Frühstück eher teuer.

Neu renoviertes Zimmer und schöner Poolbereich. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und das Personal sehr freundlich. Was will man mehr?

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel gute Mittelklasse wäre ok aber FÜNF Sterne Der Poolbereich ist schön bis auf die Tatsache dass die Fugen der Fliesen in den Duschen Schimmel ansetzen Das Zimmer war eng sauber und soweit alles vorhanden aber man erwartet bei FÜNF STERNEN etwas anderes Die Bedienung abends draußen war äußerst unfreundlich schade es gibt doch so viele nette und freundliche Servicekräfte Einmal dieses Hotel reicht uns

Sehr kleine Zimmer, keine optimalen Schränke weil keine Ablagen für Oberhemden Pullis etc vorhanden Alternativ angebotene Zimmer haben den Charme der fünfziger Jahre keine Klimaanlagen in den unrenovierten Zimmern

Das Hotel entspricht einem Haus der Klasse. Service, Angebote und Lage des Hauses sind sehr gut. Das Interieur und der Zustand des Hauses wirken sehr verbraucht und waren letztendlich enttäuschend. Die Polstermöbel und die Bäder sind dringend zu überarbeiten, wenngleich der Stil gut ist.

Ein tolles Hotel mit einem zuvorkommenden Service. Der Ku'damm schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen ebenso wie das Theater des Westens.

Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstücksbuffet den Preis nicht wert, Badezimmer riecht muffig

Das Hotel Kempinski ist gut gelegen gute Anbindungen man kann von dort überall gut zu Fuß viel unternehmen

Super Service, alles möglich! Klasse Swimming Pool! Geniales Hotel, sehr altmodisch eingerichtete Zimmer, auf Grund des langes Bestandes des Hotels! Aber nicht umsonst eines der "most leading Hotels in Germany"

Das Zimmer ist komplett eingerichtet, leider etwas verwohnt (klemmende Schranktüren, tropfender Wasserhahn, was allerdings sofort repariert wurde). Der Empfangsbereich, die Bar und das Restaurant und vor allem die Kaffeebar sind sehr schön. Der Service gut und einem Hotel dieser Klasse angemessen.

Service ist supergut - Zimmer hätte Renovierung notwendig.

Kenne das Kempinski seit 30 Jahren. Deshalb wollte ich auch dort hin. Hätte man uns nicht in einem "Hasenstall"unterbracht, wäre alles OK gewesen.

Meine Erfahrungen als Kunde waren wirklich so gut, dass ich bei meinem naechsten Besuch wieder dort absteigen will. Auch meine Frau, die mich bei der Geschaeftsreise begleitete, war begeistert: Einmal von der zentralen Lage, dem wunderbaren Fruehstuecksangebot, dem ueberaus netten und zuverlaessigen Personal (alle Post-, Email- etc. Zustellungen von ausserhalb kamen puenktlich auf meinem Zimmer an.

Vom Aussteigen aus dem Auto bis zur Abfahrt konnten wir einen excellenten Service genießen, der uns durch wirklich alle Angestellte dieses Hotels entgegen gebracht wurde. Es gibt an diesem Hotel nicht das Geringste auszusetzen, so dass wir uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt freuen.

Es ist schon beeindruckend mit welchem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service man schon vor dem Hotel empfangen wird. Sogar der rote Teppich fehlt nicht. Parkservice für das Fahrzeug sowie der Gepäckservice funktionieren schnell und diskret. Alles in Allem ein wirklich tolles Haus.

Das Hotel überzeugt mit seiner Tradition und Lage. Sehr guter Pool. Freundliches Personal und exzellentes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Organisation des Fürstücksbüffets ist wegen der langen Wege unbefriedigend.

Das Kempinski Bristol ist hinsichtlich der Lage sicherlich ein erstklassiger Ausgangspunkt für eine Berlin-Erkundung. Der Kudamm ist (wieder) ein sehr aufregender Boulevard! Den Standardzimmern des Hotels merkt man allerdings an, dass die letzte Überholung schon eine Weile her ist. Den regulären Preis sind sie daher eher nicht wert.

Ich empfehle weiter, und nütze immer wenn ich in Berlin bin.

Having read some of the previous reviews of this hotel I was a little worried about the kind of accomodation that we'd get when we arrived. The room sizes seemed to be a big issue for many guests but my daughter and I had asked for a standard twin room and were more than happy with the room we got. It wasn't the biggest room I've ever stayed in but more than adequate for our needs. It was quiet, spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning kept the room at a very comfortable temperature and I had a very relaxing three nights there. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and very patient as we attempted to use our rudimentary German. The hotel is very well located right in the heart of the city and only a few minutes from U-bahn and S-bahn stations. I'd gladly return.

The hotel is located near the Zoo / Tiergarten. There are three metro stations within five minutes walk. The hotel has an excellent pool / leisure center. The standard rooms are on the small side but comfortable.

Although not next to the main sights in Berlin, the hotel is great for anyone who is going there for tourism. It is just off one of Berlin's main shopping streets and is right next to the metro station that will take you closer to the city sights. The hotel was also very convenient when getting to and from Tegel airport as the bus stop is just around the corner and costs just 2.10 Euros for a single ticket and only takes 25 minutes. The standard rooms are quite small and ours was dated. Although I think they are in the process of refurbishing them. The beds were comfortable but our so called double bed was actually two single beds put next to each other and two seperate single duvets!. The hotel's swimming pool is great and opens from 6.30am until 10pm. There is also a very small gym (dated equipment which comprised of a running machine, rowing machine, exercise bike, step machine and some weights) and a sauna and steam room. Be warned though that no swimming costumes can be worn when using the sauna/steam room. Although towels/towelling robes are allowed. Breakfast costs about 20 euros per person but we just had breakfast outside everyday and there are so many places around that serve great coffee and cakes (including a starbucks just across the road from the hotel) and it is nice to go and try somewhere different every day.

Perfect location for enjoying Berlin. Right on the main shopping avenue, lots of restaurants and attractions. The outdoor cafe is perfect for people watching, the interior courtyard perfect for garden cocktail and cigar Kempinksi service was impeccable as always, if we could just get European hotels to design user friendly showers and shower doors/curtains!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our rooms were small were perfectly kitted out and given the price we paid for them we found them more than adequate and very clean. The breakfast (not the buffet) however was poor, very small helpings and the food arrived cold despite there being lots of staff around, trying to attract their attention was another matter..... There are lots of cafe's and restaurants in the area, one at the bottom corner of the same street provided a much better 'hot' breakfast at less than half the price.

A very good hotel overall. Staff extremely friendly, always smiling and there to help. Spa facilities really good, and the best thing after a long walk in the city. Room was indeed a bit small (as mentioned in other reports), and on the "older" part of the hotel, though they seem to be refurbishing futher down the hallway. Bathroom really spacious though and always sparkling clean.

The hotel was wonderful! My only nitpick was rthe air conditioner was not very cold. We slept with the window open which was loud but did the trick. Great hotel.

The Kempinski Bristol was a very nice hotel and the staff was amazing. The location was central and easy to get to from all over Berlin. The restaurant had good food and the prices were decent as well.

This hoiel is undergoing some modernisation at the moment, and some of the rooms can be shall we say cosy, some rooms are out dated , clean and have everything you need just dated, whilst obviously others are bang up to date. The facilties are great the pool, sauna areas esepcially, and as for location perfect fro shopping and getting into the city centre.

I, along with several friends, stayed at the Kempinski Bristol for four days in February. It was a most pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, with good facilities and the staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The continental brakfast doesn't offer a wide variety and is rather basic ... but it is adequate. The rooms were fine although a bit on the small side. Bathrooms are clean with plenty of towele etc. Location of the hotel is very good... plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and about five minutes walk from KaDeWe, the famous department store. Overall, a decent hotel well worth a visit.

The Kempinski Bristol was well located, top quality hotel that accommodated the five members of our family in two very comfortable rooms/junior suites. The pool/spa (open from 6:30am to 10pm) was a great retreat after a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel was well-equipped, beautifully furnished and the staff was attentive and spoke excellent English. The hotel is located very conveniently close to the Ku'damm and various restaurants / bars / cafes, and is very close to the station 'Zoologischer Garten'. However, one of the non-smoking rooms reeked distinctively of smoke, which was probably an exception but did not enhance our stay there.

OK place... if rated a 4 star or 3.5. Not a 5 star

nice enough, but not a 5 star for sure. Good concierge makes up for some of it, but generally old, rooms kind of drab, kind of worn out.

Five star hotel in the posh shopping district near Berlin Zoo station.

I was very impressed by the quality of service. The staff for the hotel were always smiling and I was greeted always with a smile. I would say a down side is the breakfast. Although there is a lot of choices its a bit pricy at 25 Euro per person (Including 2 Cappuccinos) we paid 50 Euro between my self and my girlfriend. I cant say enough about the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. Although some amenities were not offered like tooth brush kit (Weird for a 5* hotel) ... the normal Kempinski kits for soap were there. Very close to a main shopping district and very close (walking distance) to a main department store were brand names are at great prices. 5 minutes from the BERLIN hard rock cafe ... if you are in need of a good old stake go there. All in all the trip, the level of service surpassed my expectations. I will be a return customer for sure.

Great Hotel with central location. We (4 girlfriends) just stayed a couple of nights. The rooms are on the smallish side but were clean and comfortable. There were only 2 negatives- The heating was on full blast- great on a cold Decembers day but a little too overpowering! To get to the spa you had to cross the hotels main entrance foyer in your toweling robe- this may only be because of current renovation works, but all the same we felt a little self conscious!!!

The Kempinski is a beautiful hotel located along the most posh shopping district in Berlin. The best part of the hotel is easily its service - everyone, from hotels maids to pool assistants to desk clerks to bellhops, are eager to go out of their way to help you. The lobby is beautiful and the restaurant good. The furniture is outdated in the rooms and the mattresses could be more comfortable. No thermostat in the room. Linens were soft and in very good condition. Bathroom was large and well appointed (marble, two sinks, bidet). Amenities, such as the breakfast buffet, phone calls, laundry service, and access to wireless, were pricey even for a luxury hotel. The pool/spa was fantastic, especially after a long day, a far better way to spend your time than the difficult to find fitness center.

Best location, we were right in the centre of shopping and some of the best restaurants. The Kempinski Bristol is an old style hotel with excellent staff and a friendly atmosphere. Great bar with live music. Bedrooms on the small size!! Would cretainly go back

The Kudamm area is very nice and we thought the price we received was very good.

This was our favorite hotel on our recent European vacation. It is elegant, well situated with outstanding service.

Prior to our stay at this hotel we read some of the reviews and was wondering if we had made the right choice. When we arrived, we walked into an absolutely wonderful hotel! We will return to Germany and stay at the same hotel. Thank you Hotels.com. You made our trip as wonderful as it could get.
