Le Montrose Suite Hotel - West Hollywood

Von außen sieht das Hotel nicht gerade nach Hollywood aus. Innen wird's zwar etwas besser aber die Anzahl der Sterne ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Das Personal ist eher damit beschäftigt cool auszusehen als sich für den Gast zu engagieren.

Although just off sunset blvd- this hotel is remote, excellent service at reception from start to finish, very helpful and the room was excellent. But what makes this hotel is the roof top pool and the view over the city especially at night. Waiter service for lunch was poor and our only compliant.

This place really hit the mark. not pricey, but very nice. it was definitely a very cute boutique experience without the boutique price. The location was fabulous. Close to the nightlife without it being rowdy.

We stayed at Le Montrose on a family vacation and loved it! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The rooftop pool is a great way to relax after a day of touring around. The restaurant is also excellent and quite reasonalby priced with great service!

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We enjoyed our stay, we had dinner at the hotels private restaurant... the food was pretty overpriced and bland... but other than that the hotel was very nice, modern and clean! its a beautiful place to stay and the staff seems very tentative to the guests needs.

it's a really cute place. I prefer this hotel over any big hotel chain, plus I love the neighborhood. I feel like I live here and am not just visiting for work.

Your own apartment for a steal! This is an AWESOME hotel. From the rooftop pool and tennis courts where you can order food and drinks, to the wonderful restaurant downstairs, this hotel has it all covered. I can't say enough good things about my stay. Everything was truly perfect. The room was HUGE! It is a converted apartment so you get a kitchen, a living room, a separate bedroom area, a huge bathroom area, free internet, a full-sized patio, a fireplace, I could go on. It's about a block and a half from the strip which is wonderful. Easy to get to, easy to find. The water pressure was great, the garage was well lit and gated, the bed was super comfy with 8! pillows. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. I will not be staying anywhere else in LA, period.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Le Montrose Suite Hotel, & it won't be the last. Staff are great, without being overbearing, rooms are large & well appointed, & you can park your own car! Location (for me) is perfect: close to the strip, but quiet as well. I strongly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was wonderful-art deco decor, jacuzzi pool and tennis court on the roof, quiet. The only complaint is the bed was uncomfortable-we even turned the mattress! And the restaurant was pricey-other than that it was and great place to stay and we'll return again.

nice quiet hotel near sunset strip. overall pretty good hotel, however: 1- i booked the hotel because they take dogs. i didn't know they charge you $100 fee to have dogs in the room. they told me it was a "deposit" on the phone, which is legit. then it was a "cleaning fee" another thing - they charge $30/night for parking, which is very expensive for the area.

Walking into Le Montrose Suite Hotel, I noticed flowers, ambient lighting, and nooks for lounging guest. The bar downstairs had fabulously priced refreshments if you decided to meet and greet, instead of opting for the basket full of snacks and goodies. The breakfast card on the pillow was a welcome convenience, who doesn't want a spinach and swiss omelet brought to them at 6am? I would say the one down side is the rate for parking your car, but doesn't keep me from booking another night when I'm in Hollywood.

I've stayed at Le Montrose many times, and its fabulous. I love the neighborhood and proximity to Sunset and Santa Monica Boulevard restaurants, shoppping, and bars/clubs. The surrounding neighborhood is serene and peaceful. Being off the main road adds to its serenity, although it can be somewhat difficult to find your way back on foot from Santa Monica, depending on your BAL. The view from the rooftop pool deck is outstanding! The hotel is contemporary, yet cozy. Very boutique feeling. The food, although somewhat pricy, is good. I don't recommend drinking there unless you just received a bonus. And who gets those anymore? The front desk reception is welcoming and helpful. My only complaint is that the food service is very poor. The gentleman that served us, who I recognized from last year (and I think the year before), lacks attntion to deatil, a positive attitude, and customer service. Food was untimely and incorrect. Also, our shower was made for someone who is handicapped and only rose 4 feet off the floor. I only stayed one night so I let it go.

The room were a nice size. Service was good. Parking is higher than expected. Overall, a good stay.

Great hotel. Superb location and staff, with a nice pool.

I was travelling with kids so I was OK with the fact that it is in a quiet neighborhood near the strip and not in the heart of the "party". We had an executive suite and the room and amenities were great. Very spacious, comfortable bed and sleeper sofa, nice fireplace and kitchenette, complimentary fruit basket. Rooftop pool and jacuzzi area was very nice, with great views. Gymn was very good with up-to-date equipment. We enjoyed it more than our more expensive stay at a Beverly Hills hotel the 1st night of our trip!

BUT - Make sure you don't end up on the lower floors. We had a room on the 2nd floor and our balcony was NOT a balcony at all. We had a patio area with a cement wall with metal railing covered with mesh. It felt like we were in the basement dungeon. There was no view at all, and if you went out a looked up, you could see a few tree tops and that was it. When I called the front desk, they said they had no other rooms and they would have the manager contact me in the morning. He / She never contacted me and when I tried to contact him / her, they were not available. So if you decide to stay here, make sure you are on the upper floors so you don't end up feeling like you are in the basement as I did. I'm sure if you were the higher floors, it would be a great place to stay.

The hotel was nice and I got a special discounted deal through the website. But once we got there, we noticed that the hotel is not as centrally located as we would have liked and they charged $28 a day for parking knowing full well there is no where else to park. On top of that, I just needed to keep my rental in parking for 12 hours without going in and out and they still charged me the full rate. The hotel was a little too quite for me. I was expecting a location close to the action on sunset. It's two blocks away from sunset blvd but at the end of the strip leading to a long walk to get to main area. I got a junior suite expecting to have more space but I was surprised as to how small the room was. The pool was nice and had an incredible view of the city.

The location was wonderful and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff wasn't the best except for Laurie who was awesome!!

Pros-Excellent all suite hotel with suken living room, fireplace, patio, and high end linens. Onsite restruant lounge with roof top pool,jacuzzi, and tennis courts. About 3 blocks from Sunset Strip. Close enough to walk to many venues but far enough away to avoid traffic and street noise. Cons- Loung clesed at midnight Saturday. Pool and jacuzzi closed at 10PM. Overnight parking was costly.

This is probably the nicest hotel that we have ever stayed in. It was a last minute booking with hotels.com for a night out for me and my wife. We booked a Jr Suite for a great price and when we got there, we had an upgrade to the Executive suite. The place is in a residential neighborhood about 3 blocks from the Sunset Strip (so its close to everything without the noise). Hotel had a small restruant and lounge with small lobby meeting center. Our room was amazing with the sunken seating area, kitchenette, patio and fireplace. The bathroom was great with a seperate dressing area with dressing table and vanity mirrors detached from the sink. The king bed and linens were sophisticated and comfy with plenty of pillows. The decor of the place was clean and sophisticated from the quaint lobby through the hallways and into the rooms. There were only two negatives that we founf, the pool and jacuzzi closed at 10PM and parking overnight was a bit pricey. Overall, we can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Pricey but very nice overall. Excellent location 2 minutes from sunset strip and Rodeo drvie. Very romantic with the pool on the roof overlooking alot of los angeles. Very pleased and will definitely be staying there again next time.

Surprisingly comfortable, all amenities you would want, great location, nice roof deck with pool, hot tub and tennis court, outstanding, courteous and thoughtful service. One big "BUT", however. The internet wired or wireless is HOPELESS and UNUSABLE. Until they get high speed internet, do not stay here if you are counting on internet access. I was paralyzed in terms of work and what made it worse was the ATT cell reception was awful as well. Verizon slightly better. Otherwise, a great find that I will return to -- once they get highspeed internet. Also with the lousy cell reception they should offer free long distance service from the room phones.

Perfect room for business...big and comfortable; nice desk. Great for leisure too with excellent pool and restaurant. Loved this place.

The hotel was very nice and quiet. A little too 'trendy' for me. I think more suited to young couples. What floored me was the $26.00 charge to park my car in their garage which was totally unexpected and as there was no parking on the street, I had no other choice but really did resent them not stating that up front before I made the reservation.

I travel a lot for business; in and out of hotels constantly. We rented the executive suite. This was the most comfortable room I've ever stayed, with dining area, clean kitchen, fireplace, large closet and separate dressing area. If I can be picky I would say the tub area could have been larger, but the trade off for the dressing area was worth it for my family. This is a small boutique hotel (which I prefer), you have to drive to get anywhere, much like you do in Los Angeles. Room service was terrific as stated. Only disappointment (again being picky) that there wasn't tea included in the complimentary coffee service. This was unusual. You have to order the tea from room service and pay the additional service charges.

Le Montrose has some of the best features- the location is just a few blocks away from the Sunset Strip as well as Santa Monica Blvd. taking you right in the heart of Hollywood & West Hollywood; the ammenities are great- rooftop pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, gym, cozy restaurant on-site; it has a stylish, modern look with very comfy furniture and bed; the neighborhood is fairly quiet being that it's in a residential area; staff was friendly and for the most part prompt. The only complaint that I had was plumbing- the toilet would not flush properly. Hotel staff came ready with a plunger to handle the situation, but it still put a damper on the first night of our 2 night stay. I'm sure not every guest had the same problem, but be wary of rooms on the first floor (which is the mistake we made). Next time I'll remember to ask for a room higher in the building and have a better view and hopefully a more pleasant experience.

*Super fast roomservice *Really excellent food. *Large comfortable, well appointed rooms (DVD player and large-screen TV for the downtimes, between events) *"Privacy Please" is honored to the letter--cleaning service was invisible (excellent).

Carpet stained in my room, bathroom sink drains slowly. Otherwise, good attention to service...a porter in the hallway saw me searching for ice and offered to get it for me and bring to my room. Valet placed a cold bottle of water in my car upon checkout for my drive.

Great location on the border of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Safe neighborhood with some architecturally significant houses. Huge flat panel TV in bedroom. All the comforts of home.

This was my third stay at Le Montrose. Every time has been great. I love to sit on the pool deck, read the paper, and relax in the beautiful early morning sun with coffee and breakfast . I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at Le Montrose after a weekend in Vegas and it was a much need quiet oasis and retreat! Beautiful hotel and neighborhood, very contemporary decor. Very lush pool deck and beautiful view of the city. The hotel staff were great. I just had a fabulous visit. One complaint would be that my cell phone didnt work in the room but I was able to stand on my balcony and use it. I would not reccomend this hotel to families, its just not a kid friendly place. More a romantic get-a-way or break from high-paced work type hotel. West Hollywood has so much to offer, I will go back! Make sure you eat at Dominics on Beverly Ave, its a close cab ride and fabulous Italian cuisine that is not too heavy!

Exceptional service, friendly staff, very comfortable rooms, great pool, great location, easy parking. My new favorite in LA.

The hotel was very nice, our room was nice, comfortable and clean. But our room was very noisy as it was right on the street. It seems everytime I book through hotels.com I get the worst room in the hotel. Makes you wonder.....

Layout of the room was nice. The lighting in the bathroom was so dim and yellow, that I could not put my makeup on. First night, could not sleep due to street noise and guests in room above partying all night. The 2nd day, the toilet overflowed. I had just paid for the internet connection when this happened. We still had to get dressed and head out for a lunch date in 2 hours. Due to overflow of toilet, we had to pack up our bags and move to another room (they did not offer to transfer our bags). Then had to rush around to get dressed and meet friends for lunch, so never got to use internet. They did not reimburse for that charge - signed on again in new room that evening and was charged.
