Das Hotel war sehr gut und es hat eine super Lage. Fishermens Wharf, Union Square und China Town sind leicht zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Qualitativ hochwertiges Hotel mit freundlichem Service und umsichtigem Personal. Leider fand sich auf dem Waschtisch im Bad reichlich Staub, auch nach der ersten Übernachtung - da hat das Personal wohl nicht so genau hingeschaut...

EIn schönes Hotel in bester Lage für alle, die San Francisco erleben wollen. Sauber, modern, gut ausgestattet und absolut zentral gelegen.

2Ew, 3Ki, waren im Juli für 3 Nächte hier. Haben geschlafen und 1mal gefrühstückt: sehr sehr fein! Super Lage, um zu Fuß die Stadt zu erkunden.

gute zentrale Lage. Achtung: Parken mit 55usd pro 24h sehr teuer. Billiger gehts in der direkten Umgebung für 29usd. Zimmer sehr schön und sauber. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The rooms are clean and modern with flat screen tv, granite shower, large bathroom, comfy beds, toons of pillows, sliding door window. Its located in a safe neighborhood. Complimentary Starbucks coffee. Friendly stafff. One of our favorite hotels in SF.

valet was $49.00 for one evening!!! the bathroom details and materials were very tired, a tiny bath tub.

Always taking a chance when booking online based on reviews but glad we went with Le Meridien. Couldn't believe the quality we got for our money. We did pay online in advance which gave us an extra 30% off... Great location, great rooms and great views. Super happy with our choice!

Pros: Comfy beds, nice room, window opened a bit to enjoy fog and cool air. Cons: parking costs were high, with extra charges for an oversized vehicle. No coffee maker/hot water in room. Room service only. Compared to others in which I have stayed, I expected more from a 4star hotel in the City.

A little pricey, but very nice and relaxing

Nice updated hotel. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view. The only thing that was not really stated when we made the reservation was the cost for parking! Not really a good thing since we already were spending quite a bit to stay in a nice hotel. Also, there is a charge for internet service too each day. Seems like such a nice hotel would include these essential amenities. Other than that, the hotel was nice.

NOTE #1: This hotel should be ashamed of what they charge guests for parking!!!!! The hotel staff were friendly and efficient and courteous and helpful throughout our stay. NOTE #2: This hotel should be ashamed of what they charge guests for parking!!!!! The room was comfortable, modernized, and in nice condition. This was true of the public areas of the hotel as well. NOTE #3: This hotel should be ashamed of what they charge guests for parking!!!!! Truly, the quality of the hotel and the good rate we got were undermined by the utter gouging of the parking fees. San Francisco parking fees are expensive . . . Le Meridien's are OUTRAGEOUS. If you have no car to park, this is a great place to stay. If you do, however, any bargains that you think you're getting will be virtually erased by the parking fees.

Great location, nice and comfortable room, great workout room. Highly recommend this hotel.

Booked it on sale 35% off. 5 blocks from the Bay/Ferry building and about the same from Chinatown. Actually in the Financial District. Appeared safe at night on the streets. Nice Flat panel TV but no HDTV (What's the point?). We could see the Bay from our room's window thru the canyon of steel and glass.

I was more than pleased with everything about my stay from location, helpful staff, extremely nice room with great view and last but not least free Starbucks coffee in am.

This hotel is very handy to the Embarcadero and has an excellent view of San Francisco Bay.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien. The room was very spacious, the bed terrifically comfortable & we didn't hear anything from other rooms (which seems rare these days). Room service food was so-so, but their cocktails are fantastic (cucumber gin smash! yum)! We stayed there the night of our wedding & the night after. They offered to upgrade us to a one bedroom suite, but I found both rooms to be small and dark, so we stayed with our executive king room which felt more spacious and faced the bay. I kind of thought/hoped that they might have done a little something nice for us for the wedding night--you know, had a bottle of champagne chilling or something, but no--even though it seemed that everyone knew we were the newlyweds. In any case, I think this is probably better for business travelers than a couple looking for a romantic place to stay. However, all in all it was a classy & enjoyable place.

We had a balcony where you could see the Bay. It was great!!!! They had two chairs and a talbe outside. At night it was beautiful also. The service at the hotel was great. Very friendly and helpful

it was a little confusing to see because the address says its on battery but in reality you have to go in on clay street to park. they pretty much make you valet park for almost $55.00. valet was very nice and willing along with the staff inside. out room was on the 13th floor and our room was beatuiful. the beds were super comfortable and you jus melted in it (especially after walking the pier for 8 hours!) we had gotten the bay view which was exactly what it said.. a bay view!! only down fall was the freakin large building infront of the view of the bay!! kinda dissappointing.. but over all the bathroom was nice and roomy.. the shades on the bathroom sliding door were neat. everything was clean and sparkling. they didnt use cheap hotel soap. they used bath and body works which is actually my favorite brand of body lotions and soaps. overall this is a hotel i would def reccommend and go back to.

A huge room for sf but it comes at the price of a poor location. The staff was great very helpful my only problem with the room was my tv didn't work so it was replaced but within a day the new tv also stopped working. The bar is kinda small not that great. The hotel which is in the financial district, is close to union square and the embarcadero but just on the edge of walking distance. Bottom line if you want a big comfortable stay here if you want to stay in a nice neighborhood don't stay here. It was worth it to me we stayed in union square our first nite and had a really small room.

This was a beautiful studio suite room. I would have prefered a higher floor (I was on the 7th floor) but for the price it was OK. Everything in the hotel appeared clean and new. It was quite a large room also for the money.

You expect to pay top dollar for a hotel in downtown SF, but this hotel was certainly worth the money. Extremely clean, quiet, and well kept. Wish I could have spent more time there.

Le Meridien was the perfect hotel! I stayed there for the San Francisco Marathon. It was a 5 minute walk to the starting line and the staff and accommodations were absolutely perfect! Thanks, John

I loved the hotel, staff was really friendly. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our view of the city was spectacular! I would have liked to known about the parking and pricing before my visit. Maybe post the price and options on the hotel site.

I had booked a room with double bed but due to over sale they could not give us double bed and that was very frustrating. But overall it was good. tnx

This was the first hotel my boyfriend & I stayed during our week long vacation in California. It was fabulous! Modern, romantic,comfortable and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the pictures of this hotel online didn't do it justice. We happened to get one of the higher floors and had an amazing view of the city. Some of the best photos we took while in San Francisco were taken from our room... especially the fireworks on the 4th of July! Although we didn't spend time in the lounge area by the bar, it had a funky but tasteful decor and looked very cozy. We weren't thrilled with the WiFi charges but learned that most hotels are charging for this now. A trip to the cafe across the street solved that problem. The hotel was close to a lot of tourist activities although San Francisco is pretty easy to get around on foot if you don't mind the hills & waiting for cablecars. We would definitely stay at Le Meridien again.

Convenient location though the neighborhood is very quiet on the weekend (mostly offices nearby). Walking distance to Ferry Building. Good stay, nice sized room, happy with amenities.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it is very nice. Friendly staff and a great location in SF. We had a Bay view and I just wanted to stand at the window and watch the activity on the bay. The only negative is the parking at the hotel is quite expensive $56+ a night. Find another place to park your car.

Room was clean, comfortable. Concierge knowledgable and helpful. The reservation was for four people, but the room was only set up for two. Room service was incredibly slow after eleven pm. The hotel offers no paking except valet service, which is $50 per night; additionally, the valets were slow and rude. Little to no street parking in San francisco and garages closed after nine pm made stylng here overly expensive and a hassle.

One of the best hotels in San Francisco and a wonderful location next to the Embarcadero Center, Ferry Building, and Downtown. Easy walk to Union Square and perfect for a long stroll down to the piers...can cab to just about everything for under $10 a ride. Staff was extremely service oriented. Parking $50 a night but can park at Embarcadero Center for $32. You won't make a mistake staying here. Hotel is decorated and constructed in a modern decor and reminds one of European hotels...don't miss the parakeet and cricket sounds played in the elevators...nice touch.

This hotel is beautifully appointed with an excellent staff.

Although I got a good rate I don't like that the parking fees aren't published before booking. Very high! My guest's earrings were inadvertently thrown away when housekeeping cleaned. Location was good for what we wanted to do.
