Das Hotel ist schon ein paar Jahre alt was man am Zustand schon merkt. Es war jedoch sauber und das Personal nett. Wer eine super guenstige Uebernachtung sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben. Generell ist am Strip mehr los z.B. das Excalibur liegt zentral und hat super Preise fuer Zimmer. Die Freemont Street koedert Gaeste mit guenstigen Zimmern und billigen Getraenkepreisen entsprechendes Publikum. Im Hotel wohnen viele aeltere Leute 55 und aelter die schon seid Jahren herkommen.

Bei unserem 2. Aufenthalt im Fitzgeralds wurden wir mit Frühstücksgutscheinen überrascht. Schönes altes Fremont St. Hotel mit viel Atmosphäre mitten drin im Geschehen. Auch am Wochenende moderate Preise. Für perfekt.

Man ist mitten im Geschehen von "Down-Town". Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Bequeme Betten. Ideal auch für Langschläfer, man wird nicht vom "Housekeeping" geweckt. Super auch die Parkmöglichkeit direkt im Hotel-Parkhaus. Im Casino pulst das Leben! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Genau das, was wir erwartet haben!

The staff was very friendly and helpful . . . the location is perfect . . . the room was clean and had everything we needed . . . nice sized bathroom, which was great!

The rooms were great, location for downtown was perfect, elevators a bit slow but not really a big problem. Front Desk, Valet, and Restaurant staff was excellent and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a nice and convenient hotel for the cost. Would recommend this hotel to my friends. :)

good rooms for the price we paid, right on the fremont st. experience, close to local pizza and spaghetti restaurant and a dollar store for basics ---good deal

No frills room. You get what you pay for. This roadside motel quality. A little pealing wallpaper and mold in the bathroom, but nothing you can't live with. The room was clean and comfortable. The casino has also improved a little since my last trip. I wouldn't tkae a date here, but if you are just going with friends and looking for a cheap place to stay this place is okay.

We just needed a room for one night as we passed through town on our way to Disneyland! Only problem was the light show was right outside our window and the accompanying music was extremely loud every hour!!!

very pleasant stay

I stayed at the Fitzgerald Casino Hotel for 1 week and enjoyed the stay. The only thing that happened is I had a maintenance call for the flapper in the toilet at they fixed in within 30 minutes! My view wasn't the greatest since I was put on the 5th floor, but I was okay with that. The beds rocked! What I mean there is I slept like a baby! Other wise I would recommend it and I would stay there again! Oh I didn't win or hardly gambled there!

Reserved 4 rooms for our family, all non-smoking, upon check-in, they had no non-smoking rooms available so we all had smoking rooms. Not happy, had reserved the rooms months before so they should have had the non-smoking rooms reserved for us. We are on the 17th floor, upon trying to leave the hotel to go eat, site see and leave, we waited for over 10 minutes for the elevator to come, we finally took the stairs. The rooms were ok, basically clean and the beds were ok.

The hotel is about 3 Miles from the strip in the original part of LV. Step outside and you are straight on to the Fremont Street experience, a wonderful overhead lightshow. Casinos abound, staff are friendly, overall very good. Parking easy.

Check in was great. The room was fine except that the air conditioning was noisy.

I recently stayed at Fitzgeralds and I found everything fine. The room was nice, maid service was fine, elevators (not a long wait), pool was clean. For the price I paid per night, everything was great and I probably will be coming back for March Madness. Thanks!!!

Employee friendly and helpful. Sink and Bathtub slow draining.Was offered another room. Hotel did fix the problem right away.

We knew this was not a 5 star hotel and we got a great price on two rooms that were next to each other on the 29 th floor. The view from the room was the best feature and the location was great. Beds were pretty hard with a few loose springs, bathroom size/amenities were adequate, everything was fairly clean. Decor was nice, looked like new carpet. Gambling here is great, service people are very nice. The only reason I would not stay here again would be the terrible shower. No hot water, no water pressure at all ~ utterly useless! Could've done a better job splashing in the toilet! Other than that huge problem, the hotel was ok.

you have to walk thru the casino, outside, past the parking ramp, to get to the pool, located on the street, in back of the hotel, wish it had been on the roof or just about anywhere else, breakfast was very good, for included in rate. The bed was very very good, surprised for sure.

For the money the Fitz is still one of the best deals around. Room rates are always reasonable and the service is wonderful.

We stayed here for 5 nights and thought it was perfect. our room was very clean and well stocked.The entire staff was freindly and poliet. The elevators were all working and running smoothly except one that was being repaired. we never had to wait very long for an elevator like others mentioned were down or running slow. We had problems with our toliet but once we called the front desk they had mantanience to our room in about 3 minutes and we were on the 10th floor. The only surprise we had was a $50.00 deposit that we were unaware of and a .50 cent per local call fee that we didnt know of. other than that it was a great stay and we will definently recommend it to other on a budget

The staff at the Fitz was excellent and accommodating. The room was somewhat disappointing with a loud air conditioner and uncomfortable beds that lacked adequate pillows. The room was clean, yet distressed and in need of renovation. There were signs posted at the check-in counter indicating that the problems with the elevators were being worked on, which is a good thing because I waited over ten minutes for an elevator. If you are looking for a great swimming pool, you will not find in at the Fitz; it is laughably small and at street level where passer bys can catch a glimpse of you catching some rays and swimming laps. The Fitz is a good choice if you are looking for an economical stay downtown, with an excellent location that is within walking distance of downtown attractions.

Sheets were not changed on either bed and room smelled like fresh vomit...really disappointing especially when staff and management did nothing to make the situation better... will not ever return

The staff was great. I will stay there again. Everyone was very pleasant.

The check-in was efficient and quick. The view from the room was poor but the roon was comfortable.

We like staying downtown when in vegas and this was our first time at the Fitz.We arrived at 11:00 am and they upgraded our room to one that was ready so we could check in.Everything was great from check in to check out.We had no problems with the elevators,but were their mid week.

This was the 3rd visit to Fitzgeralds, booked through Hotels.com. I couldn't be more pleased. This time I was on the 3rd floor and really liked. BUT it is a smoking floor. I had no problems with the elevator as some people have reported. They have couple of new elevators up and running and I never saw anyone waiting. Everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. Hotels.com has been exceptionally good. I have had to cancel at times with no problem. Am planning another trip in Nov and have booked it through Hotels.com.

The Fitzgerald's is easy to get to, but the parking is in a garage that is very tight getting into and out of. The elevators are under repair, which makes getting to your room slow. The coffee in room has no sugar or cream provided. On the plus side, it's a very short distance from the garage elevators to the room elevators, making it easy to get into the room with luggage, cooler, ect. ect. I would say its among the best overall in the Fremont Street area.

Great room for the money.

I was very happy with this hotel! Cant beat it for the price. Before booking it I had read all the reviews online with the knowledge that some of the hotels downtown were a little sleazy. Most of the reviews regarding The Fitz complained that the elevators were slow, the rooms not so clean, but staff and service was pretty good. My experience was excellent! No line at registration, we arrived on a Friday at around 6pm. I found it funny that everyone was complaining about the elevators since there are signs posted all over explaining that they are under construction. We never waited longer than 5 to 7 minutes for an elevator, and I have waited this long if not longer at other hotel/casinos. So I guess if you have absolutely no patience than dont stay here. The room was clean, nothing out of the ordinary as far as cleanliness, yes the hotel is old, and its not perfect. Overall I highly reccommend this hotel if you plan on staying downtown especially for the price!!

The hotel staff was fine, could use some more updating, inexpensive night in Vegas.

This made the trip horrible. There were only 4 elevators in the place anyway, and 2 were not working. You don't realize how many times you use the elevator until you have to wait forever. And, we were on the 16th floor, so that made it worse. I would have requested a room on a lower floor if I had been told. Other than that, you get what you pay for. It's downtown, it's cheap.

If all you want in a room is a bed, restroom & tv. The Fitzgeralds Hotel & Casino is it.

We have stayed at the Fitz in the past and enjoyed hotel conveniences such as Room Service. That has been discontinued, but Hotels.com hadn't updated the hotel information so we were VERY upset when we got to the hotel and found that the services that we used to compare this hotel to the others was NOT true. Otherwise, it was a good stay. If Room Service is not a requirement, GREAT BARGIN!!!!
