There were bed bugs in the rooms, we got bit many times. The owner said he never heard anyone complain about bed bugs ther, ya right.

We find bed bugs, a lot! Because my English is not good I can not explains what happen with my two years old daughter, my wife and me. Was a nightmare! I take pictures and video in case I need it. I can not recommend this hotel.

The title say everything, I can not recommend this hotel only.

The hotel room was not ready when I got there and I requested a change and got it instantly. The clerk was very helpful and responsive and never argued with anything we asked. The price was really good and the room was just what we expected.

This motel is located very close to most of the Long Beach attractions we wanted to see. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we had a problem with our air conditioner the entire 4 days we stayed there. They got it working whenever we called, but by evening it was down again. Luckily we were so near the ocean, that the room never got to hot, and we had a balcony. They do not offer shuttle service or a continental breakfast as stated, but everything is conveniently located so we really didn't need it. we would recommend this place to others, I'd just tell them not to expect too much. It's a good deal for the money.

The hotel is run down looking on the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Housekeeping is excellent, and staff very friendly. They do not have a continental breakfast, as stated. Nor do they have free shuttle service. But it is conveniently located to most everything in the down town area, so transportation was not an issue. We would stay there again.

They were very rude and when you check in they didn't even ask for ID. The parking area is very small and so is the pool. They have one elevetor and it doesn't help when your room is all the way on the other side of the hotel, so you have to lug your bags up 3 flights of stairs. I asked for directions for around the Long Beach area and their reply was I DONT KNOW.

The newly remodeled motel still has many maintenance problems. Hallways are cluttered with old furniture, our room furnishings were brand new, but nothing was connected-TV unplugged, furniture did not fit the room (armoire was in front of wall pictures), Fridge was turned off and unplugged which required moving furniture to fix. Wifi did work well however. Overall the facility lacked the attention to detail that any hotel needs to stay in business. Parking lot is too small for the number of rooms, so we ended up on the street a few blocks away in a rather dicey neighborhood. Everything worked out, but more angst than I expected. Hotel attracts the party crowd, so at 3 am the horns on cars and loud yelling awoke everyone but the manager on duty, finally at 4 am things got quiet again just in time for our 5 am departure.

My elderly parents stayed at this little hotel, and it was clean, a little noisy, but very convenient. My only complaint? They don't need astroglide samples and hang tags! My dad is absent-minded and used the Astroglide sponsored hangtag as a bookmark. EW.

You get what you pay for right? Well this place should have been cheaper!

The only problem I had with the hotel is when I arrived they did not have the room type I requested. I needed 2 beds I got only one. Also I requested NON smoking all they had left was Smoking. Requested Handicapped room again I was on the 3rd floor. Requests are not easily granted here.

For the price, we were very satisfied. Near the beach and numerous shops/restaurants within walking distance. Hotel definitely exceeded our expectations.

Rooms were nice. Yes parking space is small but nothing you can't deal with and if the outside noise is too noisey I always turn on my air/fan to drown it out. I would def stay here again.

Nice and Clean. Perfect for the traveler with business at the Convention center.

Needs a lot of improvement. Went tothe Radison on the return for about $10.00 more, and there was no comparison. The Radison was a !00% better hotel.

I think it was overpriced. the bed is comfy and the bathroom small but you get what you pay for is the wisdom here.

The outside of the building left a lot to be desired. The colors and lack of carpet in the hall way gave the impression of a one star or no star...however, our room was a total surprise...upgraded bathroom vanity, very clean, though it lacked a closet and having the toilet open to the bed area was not great for privacy. considering the closeness to the convention center and the price we paid and the friendliness of the staff, I would probably stay there again...fyi...they were refurbishing rooms, so there was construction noise during the day, which thankfully we were not there!

GREAT LOCATION FOR THE LONG BEACH MARATHON AND CONVENTION CENTER. WALKING DISTANCE TO EVERYTHING, A BIT OVER PRICED BUT GREAT FOR ONE NIGHT.

I went for a conference and needed something close to the Long Beach Convention Center. It was a short 4 minute walk. Some people on hotels.com rated the hotel as dirty and dingy. I thought that the hotel was plenty clean and the furniture seemed pretty new. I would stay here again.

Its cool if you are only staying one night.

The Hotel was overall average.

Old, a little run-down, not enough parking space. Charged too much for an old hotel.

There was nothing special about our room in this hotel, but it was clean and relatively quiet. The air conditioner was a bit loud & difficult to adjust to a comfortable temperature (either freezing cold or too hot). The linens on the bed could stand to be replaced, but they were clean. The front desk clerk and the maid who cleaned our room were both very helpful & friendly. We received an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant from the front desk clerk. We had no difficulty checking in or out. Overall, I would consider staying in this hotel again, especially given its prime location. This hotel is currently undergoing some renovations - the pool is closed.

The sounds of the water during other guests showering and when the toilet was flushed was very noisy to listen to. People attending the hotel were inconsiderate by yelling and talking loudly in the hallways and in their rooms. I had to call the front desk to avoid another 2 am sleepless night because of my neighbors laughing so loudly. The walls seem to be not very well insulated. I will need to pay more attention to the star rating for future bookings.

Location is excellent for all your needs in Long Beach, room was comfortable, but everything around was dirty. Carpet was dirty, entrance door was dirty, night stands by bed sides were dirty, and I know for sure that I made mistake. I was before in hotels with same rating, but everything was clean and nice no matter the price I paid. THis one I will never recommend to anybody.

The travel lodge just doesn't cut it. The hotel is old, which is fine. But, the service is ridiculous. The TV was way too old and didn't work well. The supposed wireless internet didn't work the whole time I was there. The desk staff was disorganized. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. There was new carpet and the room was clean, but at any price, you should expect more than that from a hotel. Yuck.

For the price that we paid for the room we felt the building and room were in very poor repair. The hallways are somewhat open to exterior and are very dark and dingy. The linens on the bed were also of poor quality and very thin. The bathroom was small and the room had a bad odor. There wasnt even an iron in the room. It was advertised as being two blocks from the convention center and in actuality it was 5-6 blocks. I felt it was overpriced for the condition and I would have been better off paying a little more to stay in another hotel which was leaps and bounds nicer. The only positive is that the front desk staff was nice.

Definitely this hotels needs improvement but I think is ok for the money that I paid. One section of the hotel has rooms in a runway; this was to narrow and kind of scary

The room was very nice... but... at midnight there was a bit of a scare about ten cop cars and S.W.A.T. outside telling us to get off the balcony and stay inside. LOL!..The room was clean and had lots of amenities, coffee maker, mini fridge,cable T.V. and more.. it was only a 5$ taxi ride to the Catalina Express and thats the hotel i'll stay at when i go traveling again..

Room was clean...Only good thing about the location. A/C was louder than an airline. Fan in the bathrooom didn't work and the light switch for the bathroom light was a joke. Someone took a shower somewhere near by, sounded like Nigara Falls. The Bed..... I've slept on softer poo; tables. Def not worth the money.
