Vancouver Lions Gate Travelodge - North Vancouver

Hotel 40 Jahre alt, wenig gemacht, Zimmer sauber, Sanitär sauber aber alt und verkommen-das Hotel ist eben vom Preis das Billigste in North Vancouver und Vancouver-

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung. Mich hat die Lage des Hotels überzeugt. Das Auto kann am Hotel stehen bleiben, da von dort ein Bus nach Vancouver Downtown fährt. Der Stanley Park ist auch zu Fuß über die Lions Gate Bridge zu erreichen. Die Umgebung ist weniger beeindruckend, da das Hotel direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße liegt. Das Hotel ist dadurch aber nicht laut. In direkter Nähe zum Hotel befinden sich wenige Restaurants und zwei Tankstellen, so dass die Versorgungslage gesichert ist. Für die jenigen, die eine preiswerte Übernachtungsmöglichkeit benötigen ist die Travelodge eine empfehlenswerte Adresse.

It's a Travelodge and looks like one, but the room was suprisingly clean and neat. The location is convenient for going north of the city and central city (the bridge is a nightmare at rush hour(s) though) but it'll take forever to access southern areas. The immediate neighborhood is nothing but 5 minutes west is West Vancouver with lots of restaurants and shops. I wasn't expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised.

This hotel is inexpensive, so if you don't expect a lot of perks, you'll be satisfied. The only bad thing about the room was that the shower drained very slowly.

Clean room, nonsmoking but someone had clearly smoked in the room. I wanted cheap lodging and got what I paid for. Not fancy but met teh basic requirements. If you're sensitive to cigarette smoke residue I'd skip it.

I really loved the shower. It was just the right pressure and very warm after a long day out on the town. The gentleman in the office was very helpful helping us with bus information. He looked it up and even printed it off for us. The bed was very soft and I slept great. It was very close to several restaurants and also to several bus stops. I was very happy with this hotel.

The only thing i can say good about it, was it was a nice area, and the workers were really nice and helpful. But the room was sick, pubic hair on the toilet, hair all over the sink, the bathroom walls were cracking and covered in mold. the shower looked like it had not been cleaned in 10 years, there was stuff under the bed from past guests. The remote was not even the right one for the tv and the bed was stiff as a board. but like i said the staff was really nice, and helped us with directions. all though the guy in the morning did get us lost on our way to the border and it took us about a extra hour to get out of the country.

The bathrooms and the room itself is in dire need of repair. The grout on the bathroom tiles were black and grungy. There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room.

It is totally disgusting to find out that the bathroom still have last customer's shampoo forgot on the floor and not taken out! And in the shower there is still used soap not cleaned out! The towel in the bathroom has hair in it! There is even a tie left in the cabinet! NEVER STAY THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't even met my lowest expectation!

This place was great for what we wanted to do. You get North and West Vancouver within minutes and Downtown is easy to get to Via the Sea Bus.

Updating quality of rooms.

this hotel was good for the money. It was clean, the bed was actually very comfortable, and was a pretty qiet place. it wasn't very close to the downtown area, i thought it would be in close walking distance, but it ended up be a 15 minute drive. but over all I would say you are getting what you pay for.

As my title suggests, the hotel provided adequate and affordable service for my girlfriend and I for a little 4 day/3 night getaway. It was conveniently placed between the hustle and bustle of the downtown area and the more serene Capilano Rainforest and Grouse Mountain. Would recommend for couples and groups of friends.

As far as possible, avoid going to this motel. The service at the front desk is extremely bad. They provided incorrect information to me and instead of solving issues, created a few more.

The location is very convenient for a stop-over on the way to Whistler from Seattle, or to explore Stanley Park and surrounding Vancouver area, though it is not right downtown. The price was great at just around forty and they allow pets too, which is very nice. My pet peeve with this hotel was that though I booked a King Size bed for the room, the Hotel said that they have only double rooms for people with Pets! This needs to be clearly stated somewhere in the Hotel description otherwise is very misleading! It would be nice if sites like this were upgraded to select for Pets too along with a count of adults and children. This is one reason I may not go back to this motel! There was also no Internet Connection in the room itself, though they mentioned you could get a connection in the lobby. The room was very basic and clean and the shower was excellent! There was also a walking/biking path close by, convenient to walk your pets.

The room was clean. The staff of the hotel were helpful. It was a pleasant stay.
