Hotel sehr günstig sehr gute Lage ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze Ist zwar nicht sehr komfortabel aber wer wenig Ansprüche hat und nur ein Platz zum schlafen sucht ist da sehr gut aufgehoben Frühstück ist auch recht gut gewesen

Mehrfach Probleme mit den Zimmerschlössern.Keycards haben einige Male , auch in anderen Zimmern ,nicht funktioniert.Sehr hellhörig.

Schlechter Service, Zimmer in schlechtem Zustand (kaputte Lampen, Fernseher, Zimmerschlüssel funktionieren nicht, Insekten in den Wänden...:( ) ...aber preiswert und gute Lage!

Das Hotelpersonal ist alles andere als freundlich und zuvorkommend Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war in Ordnung Am zweiten Morgen kam nur kaltes Wasser aus der Leitung was die Dame an der Rezeption mit den Worten Ist halt so, das Problem haben die anderen Gäste heute leider auch quittierte Das Frühstücksbuffet ist seinen Namen nicht wert und der Swimmingpool sah auch so aus als sei er seit Jahren nicht mehr benutzt worden Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel für alle die auf vieles verzichten können

Das Hotel macht insgesamt einen heruntergekommenen Eindruck, obwohl die Zimmer sauber und ok sind. Alles hat funktioniert. Teppichböden in den Zimmern ist für Allergiker schwierig.

Das Zimmer hat übel gerochen!! Außerdem war eine unerträgliche Hitze in dem Zimmer, was nícht gerade zu einem erholsamen Schlaf führte. Nochmal brauche ich das nicht!

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit Frühstück und kostenloser Parkplatz (in SF wichtig). Nahe am Fishermens Warf und zentral gelegen um mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln alles zu erkunden. Hotel könnte sauberer sein. Nur zum Schlafen aber ausreichend. Freundliches Personal. Einfaches ausreichendes Frühstück. Würden es wieder buchen.

Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert. Das gesamte Gebäude ist sehr heruntergekommen und schmutzig. Wir waren nur zwei Nächte dort, hätten es auch nicht länger ausgehalten. Die Lage ist gut, da alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen sind. Aber da lassen sich bestimmt zig bessere Hotels finden, die nicht so barrackenartig sind.

Das Hotel ist alles in allem okay. Wir mussten zwar einmal das Zimmer wechseln auf Grund von Sporen auf den Bettlaken sowie Wanzen, jedoch war das zweite Zimmer dann sauber. Alt und einfach ist die Einrichtung, sie erfüllt aber ihren Zweck. Das Frühstück ist nicht sehr umfangreich, sättigt aber für die ersten Tagesstunden.

We would not recommend this motel! This is why; - This motel is not only old, but poorly maintained - The room was not clean and had very dirty carpets - The bed had Bed Bugs in it! We notified the management and got upgraded the same day, but we found two bed bugs in our new bed the following morning! - The pool looks nice in the hotel pictures, but in real life...it's crap! Anyone taking a swim in that pool would probably contract a few diseases... probably not safe to swim in. - Location is "ok" in a quiet area, not far from Russian Hill and the Marina area. But still, it demands a lot of walking/cabs to get to the sights/central areas. - The 'continental' breakfast only included small packages of cereal and some horrible tasting orange juice. If you're looking for a dead cheap place to stay and are not too concerned about bed bugs then this is the place for you, if not then stay clear.

This was a terrible place to stay in beautiful San Fransisco! Upon arrival we were greeted with an elevator that didnt work on most floors and dirty, frayed, holey carpeting. Inside our room, the lock on the door didnt work and the room smelled. The room had a relativly nice entertainment center, but the doors were off the hinges and propped up against the wall. The room had no phone and no clock. The bathroom was awful: pieces of the sink were chipping off, and parts of the faucet were missing. We had to fix the toilet every time we used it, and by the end, there was no fixing possible. The hotel is in a great location, but I wouldnt stay there again.

I will never ever go back to this hotel of my entire life. I made the mistake to pick this hotel when looking for a room one day before. Despite the fact that we paid a quite high price, I would not even go there again if the price was half of what we paid that night. The main problem is the condition of the hotel. You expect basics things to work and to be in acceptable condition. This hotel seems to be a concentration of astonishing issues. We arrived in our room in mid afternoon, the staff seems to be friendly and seems like wireless internet is available for free... but we sooned realized this was just the front desk and that what was happening beind was another story. Dozens of things are broken and don't work, all that in a gloomy atmosphere... I really discourage any sensed person to book a room in this hotel unless the only other option is sleeping on the street.

This hotel would be alright if I was 18 years old and looking for a place to party with my friends... I paid for 2 nights in advance before seeing the hotel. The first night I couldn't sleep at all because the beds were so terrible. The folks i was sharing the room with had the same problem and we found ourselves awake at 4 AM watching southpark because we couldn't toss and turn any longer. The second night i would have had to stay there alone and was so grossed out / scared to stay in this place, i rented another hotel room that was more expensive and moved. To give you an idea of why I left, the halls were filthy, and the hotel looked like it could have been an old brothel. There were scratches on the walls, doors and stains all over the carpets. The Elevator barely worked, most of the people staying in the hotel left their doors wide open so you could see all the party materials they had stashed in the room, the bathroom light didn't work, there was no way to adjust the room temperature (even though there was a thermostat), the phone wasn't even plugged in when we got there, the front desk never answered when we did call. Someone bumbped the peep hole that was on the door, and it completely fell out leaving a gaping hole in the wall the size of a man's arm and when you went to lock the dead bolt on the door, it just spun around in circles. I didn't feel safe in this hotel nor did i feel like it was up to any kind of sanitary standards. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap place to crash in SF, but don't expect the kind of experience you would at ANY OTHER NORMAL hotel.

For the price, I could of stayed at holiday inn. The hotel looks good from the outside. However, the rooms are old and not well maintained from the inside. The first thing I noticed were the smell of the room. It had the smell of a old basement. The sheets were very old looking, and there is no A.C unit. I understand that it's in S.F. But most hotels I had been in, have the A.C unit. The A.C wouldve help with easing the smell in the room. I don't recommend this hotel unless you have no other choice.

good if you want a cheap hotel, but overall not a good hotel at all. they advertise free wireless, which did not work due to a "down server", and they have no air conditioning, which made the rooms about twice as hot as the outside temperature.

Filthy old comforters and beds, bathroom had a cockroach, stucco, noisy ceiling fan, alcoholic "guests" (more likely homeless people wandering in from the streets due to lack of security) On more than one occasion I shared an elevator with someone who reeked of alcohol and could barely stand. Did not feel safe for my girlfriend or sister. I am a 26 year old male business traveler. I know what to expect from a hotel and I am easy to please- Clean room, Clean Towels, a bed i don't have to bleach before sleeping in. I spent two nights in this hotel and would never, ever, spend a night in this hotel again. In fact, just to be safe, I am not going to ever book a hotel with the words "Heritage" or "Marina" in them.

1) They messed up the reservation, wanted two rooms with two beds, got two rooms with one bed each. They did offer two additional rooms for the night, but read on! 2) The hotel hallways need new clean carpet! It is filthy. 3) Two of the rooms had key card lock that would not work, their fix was to send a "security person" to open the doors via key. The security person did not even ask for our id, just opened the door. 4) the lock and strike plates did not line up and the strike plate looked like it was installed by chewing on the work work. The work looked like a complete hack job. I think a simple kick would tear the strike plate loose. This was true on all four rooms. 5) The dead bolts would not work in 3 of the four rooms. 6) The room I slept in smelled like it had mold. 7) The breakfast was the cheapest I have ever seen - no bread or rolls, just packaged cereal and apples, and some coffee and tea. I cannot recall a worse hotel.

They say that it's right by Fisherman's Wharf, which is only a half truth. It think it was a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel itself was dingy and dark and didn't feel very home-y. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee, which was fully stocked.

I wasn't expecting much from this place. It was the cheapest hotel in the downtown San Francisco area. The service was great and very helpful. The breakfast is mediocre, but what do you expect from a cheap hotel;it wasn't just donuts. The location is fantastic; it is next to Fisherman's Wharf and you can see the Golden Gate bridge from some of the windows. I wouldn't spend a great deal of time there. It was a good place to crash after a long day of site-seeing.

When I first arrived at the hotel I was a little uncomfortable. I didn't feel safe being there. But, after settling in I felt a lot more comfortable. The hotel is in a great location as it is only a few minutes from Fisherman's Wharf as well as downtown and really any other attraction SF has to offer. The hotel itself is average with no real perks. It is really plain. But, how I looked at it was that I was going to SF to experience the city. I really only used the hotel to sleep and shower. I was not there very much. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel then this is not for you but if you are looking to get what you pay for in a great location then this is the hotel for you. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel over others in SF but I was satisfied because it didn't break the bank and was very convienient.

Hotel is not that "walking distance" from the Fisherman's Wharf as explained. Conditions of the hotels are far from the best, even for the price per night. It is simply not worth it. Rather look for a Holiday Inn or other rather known hotel names, there are couples!!, better located and within same price range and far better service and buildings.

We read other reviews and saw that people would not recommend this hotel. But when you consider that parking is included, it is within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, and the price is right, why not? As long as you are prepared for below average, as it is an older building, it will be fine. There is no air-conditioning but there is a fan. We didn't check out the continental breakfast. A laundromat is across the street. A breakfast/lunch bistro is down the street. The zig-zag road on Lombard is a few blocks away.

The specific conditions of the hotel were awful. We did not have towels or pillow cases in the room when we checked in. The TV mandel was broken along with the remote. The people that checked in above us threw a huge party, were screaming on the roof, and the police showed up at 2:00 in the morning. We were locked out of room because our hotel keys decided to deactivate when we got back from going out to see the town. We waited over an hour for maintenance to show up to let us into our room after 4 trys of running downstairs to the front desk for assistance only to come back upstairs each time to another key that did not work. The worst part was when we went to leave the next morning to get out of this dump of a place, our car had been broken into and all our camping rear had been stolen. Do not, I repeat, do not stay at this hotel. It was not even that cheap nor reasonable in price. There are a lot better places to stay around Union Square for the same price.

I got a remarkable deal at the last minute, but found the hotel to be a little worn out. I travel about 90% of the time and had a very last minute need to remain in San Francisco---and chose this property based on price. The staff were kind and friendly---but I found the property itself to be extremely dated and in need of a good update. I would not likely stay there again, unless circumstances were dire.

This hotel is good only because of the location, and the reasonable rates. It was also great with free parking. There was no air condition in the room, however, which was a real downside to the hotel. The room was worn, and the fan in the bathroom made an extremely loud noise, and was very dirty. The "continental" breakfast was ridiculous in that it existed of cereal, milk and coffee, and was not worth getting up for at all. We would not stay here again.

We chose this hotel for the 4th of July weekend because of it's location. The hotel itself left much to be desired. Our bathroom door didn't shut & the hotel room door was not secure. The hotel room was ridiculously hot when we arrived. We called the front desk to fix the problem & they said they would take care of it. When we returned, hours later, it was still hot & we had no way of turning the heat off. The free parking was nice. The continental breakfast was seriously lacking.

When we arrived at the hotel the man at the front desk was very rude. we could not understand his accent and he just got annoyed when we asked him to repeate. The hotel was not to capacity and he gave us the worst room in the hotel there are 5 levels but the elevator only goes to 4 the door handles look like someone tried to rip them out. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and the toliet makes crazy noises when you flush fr about 15 mins. We also reseved a smoking room but it had a no smoking sign on the door.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Close to Fisherman Warf, Lombard St, etc. Also, the price was good for the location. However, I did not get what I paid for. I reserved a room with "Bay view" and an extra bed. I was given the room, but there was a broken window and the wind was howling through it. We were tossed around to various hotel personnel, and finally were promised they will fix the window in a couple of hours, because they had no other rooms left. We left the hotel for the evening and when we came back, nothing was done. The guy at the desk (a different person by now) started telling me that I have been told of the condition of the room and have accepted it. He finally assigned me another room. When I told him I could not find the room, he started yelling at me, and called another guy to come show me the room. In general, the staff were rude, careless, and were not interested in satisfying their customers. All of them displayed a "don't care" attitude.

this was a filthy hotel the sheets and towels were so wore out the fan in the bathroom had no cover on it the carpet was wore out the headboard was ripped. we only stayed because was pre paid and they would not give us our money back

I liked this hotel when I stayed last year, the location is excellent, central to everything! The staff was very efficient but somewhat confused.They allowed me to upgrade to two queen beds which was very nice as we had an extra unexpected traveler with us, but when we checked back in at 3 pm they hadnt followed through on the reservation so there were none available. they also did not have roll away "cot" beds. Overall a good hotel for the price, the room was very clean, again, the location is what draws me in every time. i will stay here again when I return to San Francisco in 6 months.

Pros: Nice neighborhood, convenient to everything, staff is friendly. Cons: No movie channels, Serious lack of maintenance & housekeeping. Faulty locks, filthy stained carpet & drapes, lazy/poorly trained housekeeping that you have to specifically instruct what you want cleaned in your room or else they ignore it. Inconvenient towel exchange; they collect used ones in the am, and you have to wait until late in the day for them to return clean ones... and not even a full set.

Overall the hotel is more like a motel! For the price u will pay because of the location its a great deal!

This is a horrible hotel. Room did not lock and multiple rooms did not close or lock either. Hotel was falling apart and broken. Linens were dirty and horrible smell in all rooms transferred too.
