Positiv: Brandneu renoviert, top elegant, super Service, Traumhaftes Bad, Sehr geräumige Zimmer bzw. Suiten, Toller Pool auf dem Dach mit schönen Ausblick - insgesamt ein absolutes Highlight und dabei noch vergleichsweise bezahlbar. Negativ: Valet Parking kostest USD 30,- (keine andere Möglichkeit), alles top renoviert außer der Schiebetüren des Balkons (völlig unverständlich, da hierduch störender Straßenlärm ungehindert eindringt und das Hotel ansonsten sehr hochwertig ausgestattet ist), sehr nah an einer stark befahrenen Straße, auf keinen Fall das angebliche Sterne Restaurant besuchen: sehr schwacher Service, bestenfalls durchschnittliches Essen und dazu noch überteuert (kein Vergleich mit Sterne Restaurants in Europa - eindeutig mehr Schein als Sein...)

Great location in West Hollywood, excellent service, huge rooms, value for money as far as 5* hotels go and amazing roof top pool area with stunning views of LA. For the first time it was hard for me to leave a hotel after a short stay (4 nights). I will definitely be back.

This hotel is flawless. Great location, outstanding amenities, excellent staff. We stayed in the Crown Suite and had the time of our lives. It's not cheap, but it's well worth the money.

my first review ever, cause i wanted reviews to help me when i looked through and some did. So this is coming from a 28 yr old traveler Euro type individual. Went with girlfriend. 1. big rooms, designed well 2. comfy bed, big 3. room we had amazin view,, small but seated balcony altough bigger ones exist 4. shower and tub separate. (aka double shower) 5. Service was good 6. gym is very very functional, and yes it was designed so well, that i actually worked out.. i usually never do at hotels.. too lazy 6. rooftop pool is not a party scene, but def chill and pretty funky.. bar as well 7. room service was great although very very expensive 8. no flip flops for room. small issue, but its one of those things u EXPECTT.. like free shampoo and soap~!! 9. valet and front desk where great to 10. god location.. just of sunset not far from mondrian other hotels in area. 11. bit expensive

I stayed in a Crown Suite on a Monday night here in August. Let me tell you, this place is pretty much a perfect hotel. I couldn't find a single thing to complain about (and trust me, complaining is not usually difficult for me). The service from everyone was excellent, the room (beds, showers, furniture, layout) was excellent, the food was excellent, and the pool area was excellent! Their attention to detail (both in their service and in their facilities) is amazing. The only thing I can even gripe about is the lack of an accessible ice machine... you have to call housekeeping to have them bring you ice... big whoop.

This was an excellent surprise, having never heard of or stayed at this hotel. I would recommend it to others in a heart beat.

The room is huge, has a couch and a "living" room area. Pool got a little "gay" as the day went on but I guess that is West Hollywood. Pool area is great, its a little older than the "Rehab" gang, but still very hip and cool. Food was outstanding. From dinner at Gordon Ramseys to the sliders and sushi at the pool, it was fantastic. Hotel staff very polite and even the porters were gracious. Will definitely make this hotel a standby.

Great Location ... 25 Steps to Sunset Blvd Great Staff ... Great with our 6 year old Quiet … in the way you want it ... didn't here another quest 5 Star without being stuffy

Beautiful suite, fair location, great amenities, helpful staff, all at a very nice price.

Luxurious, spacious and clean. This hotel exceeded our expectations. An unusual value in LA. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely awesome hotel. Very good location. All suites. Far enough away from the bad areas and close to Bevery Hills and Rodeo Drive. 30 minutes from the beach. Less than a block away from the Sunset Strip. Gordon Ramsey Restaurant was pricey and very fancy, the most gourmet I have ever seen.

We enjoyed this hotel when it was the Bel Age...nice big rooms, friendly service, great location. But the remodel is simply fantastic! Modern, warm, clean, posh but not snooty. And the staff makes everyone feel like rock-stars...even the rock stars! Can't wait to come back...and soak in that super-deep, super-long tub again! See you in June!

Everything was great except for being charged for the use of the internet in the computer room.

We will definitely be staying again...LOVED the bathroom!

The service at the hotel was outstanding. They went out of their way to make sure everything was right all the time. The room big, comfortable, and my wife loved the bathroom. Will definitely stay there again.

I suprised my wife, she was to mmet me at the office after work. needless to say Friday casual was in effect for both of us..The hotel did not bat an eye. We pulled in, (this hotel is at the base of the hollywood hills, very secluded from the street). and there were more people to help us, greet us and hold the door for us than guests. The clerk at the desk when we told him that it was our anniversary had a bottle of wine delivered gratis to our room. The bathroom is amazing, it is a huge european style spa bathroom with tile everywhere, a huge bathtub and a two person double head shower. The bed was amazing, a large king with 300 thread count everything and down pillows everywhere. This is a Hotel that I would recommend to people who want to stay at a hip, classy and secluded place with access to everything. Take a chance on this place. You will not be dissapointed.

Loved the London. Very proper, very professional. Only thing missing is a classic meeting hotel bar.

This hotel is one of the sexiest hotels ever. I think there were no details untended. Everything from the elegant valet service to the upholstered walls made this hotel worthwhile. The access to the Sunset Strip was magnificent, and the guests were certainly as happly to be there as I was.

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom alone is absolutely exquisite! The old Bel-Age Hotel has really been transformed. Gordon Ramsay did a lovely job updating it. I would stay at this hotel again and again! Highly recommended.

This is probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. From the moment you enter the building to the room service to the checkout, you will be taken care of properly at The London. Room service is probably the best highlight of all. The most fine dining experience that you can have. Unless someone else gives me a room for free, I will never stay anywhere else in LA but The London.

Beautiful large room with plenty of space to stretch out & read while enjoying the sunset. Bathroom was an oasis, bed was sublime, price was extraordinary. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel & I cannot wait to go back.

Be prepared for calls and having them check up on you to see if there's, "anything else they can do." I have stayed in many hotels, but never experienced this attention to detail.

we spent one night in the London in early October as part of our honeymoon. we were greatly impressed with the all the staff there, hugely attentive and welcoming and extremely helpful. one of the highest level of customer service i have come across. the location is superb, a thirty second walk to sunset strip. the hotel is very well presented and the rooms are very well set up and are of a good size with a large bathroom. we also received good advice from the concierge and bell staff as to where to go and what to do nearby. the staff were unaware we were honeymooners (we didn't let them know in advance) but once they found out, they made sure we had champagne sent to the room and made a fuss over us. i will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.

The rooms are spacious and huge - they are all suites. The showers are big and have 2 showerheads. The pool is probably the best part about it with rooftop views and a great environment. The room service needs work because they got our order wrong both times we ordered from them and I don't like how they charge 20% gratuity automatically.

Although the towels were replaced, the bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned after our first night. The bathtub had not been cleaned at all. After checking in and locating our room, we went down to the front desk to ask where the bar was located. An extremely rude woman advised that "It is closed". She did not offer any suggestions for anywhere to have a drink, other than to use the mini-bar. Not very courteous service.

Pros: This hotel is very classy, the lobby is clean and staff was friendly. Our room was spacious, the decor looked very sharp, clean and 50's retro. The bathroom is nice, big tub (no jets) and a nice double headed shower. Bed was comfortable. There was a wet bar, flat screen tv, free internet and room service available. Gordon Ramsey's new restaurant is located at the hotel, but we did not eat there, so I can't review that. They do have a really nice pool and bar on top of the hotel, that is a must see at night, the view is beautiful, but they do not have a full bar. The hotel is almost across the street from the Whiskey A Go Go, so if you are looking for something close, you are right there in the heart of West Hollywood. Cons: $30 per day parking fee (yikes!), very small balcony, room was a bit pricey for what we got, there was a stain on our carpet and the tile in the shower needed to be cleaned. If you are a light sleeper, do not get a room on the San Vicente St. side, the busses and car horns are loud. The drinks at the pool side bar are very expensive, as is room service and the wet bar in your room. All in all, I would rate this a 3.5 starts out of 5.

Curious about the new London so decided to stay one night. Needed an "escape" from the real world and that's exactly what I got! The room was beautiful. Overlooked a multi-leveled tea garden filled with orange trees. The bathroom was enormous and gorgous. As was the suite itself. The bed was SUPER comfy and hard to get out of the next morning. I think I've found my in town retreat. The room service was fantastic. Best eggs I've ever had. Had dinner at Gordon Ramsey. Great food and service. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone. I found it to be lovely and a great value.

I used to stay at this hotel in it's old incarnation. The new owners have done an incredible job reinventing the space. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms are very luxurious. The only problems I had was that they just reopened a month ago and I was looking forward to using the rooftop pool which wasn't going to open until the week after I was there but that information wasn't given to me ahead of time and there were a couple things in the bathroom that weren't working correctly but they did come in during my stay and fix them. If you're looking for the new place to stay in L.A. The London is the spot!

pool is under constuction,so is their restaurant, needs to go out for dining. sunset street has almost standstill traffic southbound,rely heavily on your navigation device, otherwise is very clean hotel.
