Traiano Hotel - Rom

Horrible. Location central but they rely on this alone as a reason for staying there. Impressive lobby but rooms are small and shabby, very dirty, bathrooms very dirty and cramped. We extended our stay one night and they increased the rates excessively. If you are going to Italy expect dirty hotels in bad condition for this price range. Either don't go or find the money to spend more. Staff very rude, towels were actually table cloths and smelt of vinegar and they would not provide bathplugs. Beds very hard with springs poking you in the ribs. A horrible stay and it ruined Rome. Close to station (under 20 Euros taxi fare)

the hotel is in a very good location. the bus is right there for the vatican. then, for everything else you can walk, to the colosseum, to the trevi fountain and the spanish step. we even walked from piazza del popolo back to the hotel. the hotel itself is quiet, the staff is really helpfull, the breakfast is alright, nothing fancy, but good enough. the rooms are clean, the only thing was the dimension of the elevator, very little, so the poor hotel help had to go two times back and forth to bring our bags upstairs. the bathroom is alright. we stayed two times at the traiano, the first time the bathroom was a square shape, very nice, the second was a rectangular shape, a little narrow... but once again, how much time do you spend in the bathroom when you are in rome ? overall, a good deal, compared to some hotel I saw, probably cheaper, but located way up on a long set of stairs, good luck carrying your bags up there.

A very well located hotel, central to main Rome attractions. Very friendly hotel staff, desk staff all spoke good English. Excellent continental breakfast. Hotel bedroom was relatively quite with the windows and shutters closed considering the traffic levels. Not cheap - but nothing in Rome is.

Excellent staff, Extremely friendly and willing to offer help on any questions. The location of this hotel allows you to walk to any destinations. Shopping is right there as well. For the price we paid compared to other hotels in the area this one has it all. Beds could be a little softer but hey... While in Rome your not really there to sleep now are you. This town goes 24x7 so take my advice stay here and you won't be sorry. One other note The Breakfast was GREAT just not what were used to in the USA. The lady who runs the Breakfast is FABULOUS. I totally recommend this hotel and will DEFINTELY be staying there again. What ever you might have heard or any perceptions about Italy rest assured this trip will blow you away if you've never been there. My only warning bring plenty or Euro's as everything is really expensive.

This wasn't a bad room overall, but not a good value for the price we paid. We did find a cockroach in the teeny tiny bathroom.

Outstanding Service and great location, although it is located on a very busy and noisy street, and not inexpensive.

Greit hotell med veldig god beliggenhet i forhold til det man ønsker å se og oppleve i Roma.
