Hotel Savoia & Jolanda - Venedig

Sehr gute Lage, direkt am Wasser, Bootshaltestelle vor der Haustür, nur wenige Meter vom Markusplatz entfernt

WOW! My wife and I were visiting Venice for the first time from Sydney, Australia. The location is superb and is 4 stops on the 41 Ferry from the train station. The staff were fantastic, they upgraded our room to a Junior Suite which was amazing. They are so helpful, are HAPPY to speak in English and nothing was a problem. Breakfasts were good and were served out the front under the awnings and you can watch the world go by. The Hotel is close to San Marco Square, all the best shops, great restaurants and attractions. I completely recommend this hotel!

Our room was very small and dark. The floor had a low spot under the carpet. Our view out the window was a wall. I'm sure they have nicer rooms but ours was lacking

We booked this hotel after there being no availability at the sister hotel which was initially a cheaper option for us. Both hotels are next door to each other. The location is superb and the river bus stops right outside. Reception extremely helpful and excellent English spoken, breakfast good with hot options (eggs/bacon) available. Beautiful setting eating breakfast outside watching the world go by. We also had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was great value for money. We did go to Merano (and wanted to go to buy a gift) the hotel organised a free boat taxi which was well worth it. The glass factory you get taken to is a luxury showroom of some of the most expensive designer/art glass available. Some of the items cost thousands of euros. Do the tour then buy in the souvenir shop where you can purchase some beautiful vases/dishes/bowls/jewellery/lights plus loads more at sensible prices ranging from 10 to 1500 euros. The hotel room was immaculate and we loved the sofa bed made up for our 5 year old son. It was huge ! All in all a very comfortable stay and it was lovely to have the space and coolness in our room. The only thing I missed was the lack of tea and coffee making facilities and an iron ! Also the hotel is very near to all of the boutique shops if you really want to splash out.

This was a great hotel with a fantastic location. Right across from several main waterbus stations made transportation around the city super easy. It was only about a two minute walk to San Marco and all the shopping leading up to the Rialto area. Room was comfortable and lovely - only downside was that the air conditioning was not terribly powerful and we were there in the summer. Overall though, I would definitely stay there again if I am back in Venice!

We stayed for 4 nights at the Savoia and Jolanda in Venice in mid-August. Amazing staff, perfect location just a block from the San Marco Sq. The room was cleaned and ACd. The hotel is perfect for a family stay. Breakfast did not have a wide selection but was very good for our needs. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Thanks for a pleasant family vacation !

Found the Hotel very comfortable, But I think they need to check out the sound system, we could hear everything from next door, maybe it was where we were at the back? Next time I would book a room to the front. Also I think the menu needs to be change every couple of days if you are eating there some nights, it would be nice to see something different?. Found the staff very helpful and polite. Did have a lovely stay.

It was really lovely staying there. Our room was cleaned virtually every time we went out, may be 3 times a day. Breakfast was decent with absolutely gorgeous coffee and cakes Staff were helpful and polite. The location was spot on, just next to St. Mark square and one minute walk to the waterbus stops, including the service to the airport. If you can find a good deal for staying here, it is definitely recommended.

although the condition of the hotel is a bit old, then again which hotel in venice isn't? what i would like to say is that the reception and the people working there go the whole nine yards for you to make you feel comforatble and they are very informative, you can never get lost in venice with their information. and the location is fantastic too, just right in front of the san zaccaria water bus station. a good thing when it starts raining (which is very often). a particularly interesting fact when we stayed there was when the hotel's ground floor got flooded during an unsual high tide. a true venetion experience! definitely go back there again!

initially alocated TINY double room (more like a single) asked to swap and they were extremely helful swaped to a lovely room the next morning. staff cant do enough for you would definately go back

Hotel Savoia is a good place to stay during a visit to Venice. The location is great, within walking distance of many sites including St. Mark's Square. Easy access to water busses and taxis. The amenities at the Hotel are good. The staff is courteous and very helpful.

If it's a great location in Venice you're looking for, this hotel has to be it. Right next door to the famous Danieli Hotel, The Savoia and Jolanda overlooks the Grand Canal and is literally just a short two minute walk from St Mark's Square. You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace and do some serious people watching! The staff at the hotel are great too and were more than happy to make several restaurant bookings for us.

This hotel is the last stop on the vaporetto and right next to San Marco Square. For my needs it was perfectly located and the staff was very helpful when needed. The room was quite small but well decorated and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Vi kan ikke annet ennn å sammenligne dette firestjerners hotellet med det tre stjerners vi lå på den første natta vi ankom Venezia, Locanda di Orsaria, et svært koselig lite familiedrevet hotell ved togstasjonen. I forhold til at Savoia & Jolanda har en ekstra stjerne og koster adskillig mer, blei vi kanskje litt skuffa. Beliggenheten er rett ved San Marco plassen, midt i tjukkeste turisttåka. Det er svært hektisk og masete utenfor hotellet. Resepsjonen er pen og servicen var alt fra beskjeden til svært god avhengig av hvem som stod bak skranken. Rommet var litt mørkt da rommet vårt vendte ut mot ei sidegate. Ellers var rommet rent og relativt pent. Frokosten følte vi var litt enkel, nok en gang i forhold til stjerner og pris. Det virker som man ikke kan forvente seg en full frokost som kanskje vi nordmenn er vant til. Men helt ok! Det er ikke det at dette er et dårlig hotell, men i og med at man kan få hotell som er billigere og like bra, vil vi gjerne anbefale noe annet. "Venezia er best å gå seg vill i", og dermed ble det litt "turn off" å bo like ved der alle selger iskaffe til 12EURO (!) per stykk og alle boder er fylt opp med søppel. Men joda, et fint og dyrt hotell.

L'hotel a trouve un bon compromis entre le confort moderne et une ambiance de Venise. Il est idealement situe, et le petit dejeuner dehors face a l'eau est magique.

Idéalement situé face à une station de bateau/métro, à 200 m de la place St Marc. Le séjour inclus une "excursion" à Murano, qui est en fait un AR payé par un verrier ; mais, l'AR en Taxi privé est très sympa et rien ne vous empêche de ramener qq en verre si votre portefeuille est bien fourni...

Meget god service, perfekt beliggenhet, Alt koster i Venetsia, men her fikk jeg mye for pengene.

Hotellet ligger lige ud til bådpladsen, så man ankommer direkte til hotellet pr. båd fra lufthavn. Betjeningen var meget personlig og hjælpsom og man blev hurtig genkendt. Et lille problem var elevartorkapaciteten; men man kan sagtens bruge trapperne. Restauranten var lidt for meget baseret på at "sælge" og tiltrække kunder.

Idéalement situé à 100 m du Pont des Soupirs Petit déjeuner généreux, qui permet de tenir jusqu'au soir le vapporetto à la sortie de l'hotel, que demander de plus Le soir , facile de trouver un petit restaurant dans le quartier.

l'hotel est bien placé à côté de la place St Marc, près du vaporetto pour le départ et l'arrivée pour l'aéroport, petit déjeuner buffet super, accueil aimable, tous parlent français.

Fint lille hotel, knaldgodt beliggende. Ældre lidt slidt, men bestemt ikke i forfald.

Accueil agréable. service impeccable. Bon restaurant de l'hôtel. Rien à reprocher. Grande qualité: proche des arrêts du vaporetto.

een goed hotel op een super lokatie, vlak bij Piazza San Marco en aanleg plaatsen van div. rondvaarten etc. met schitterend uitzicht over het Canale di San Marco

the hotel is very conveniently located just at the exit of one of the main waterbusstops, this means you don't have to look through the small streets and carry your bags in crowded places in order to arrive to your hotel. the possibility to step out of the doors and walk to st marks square in a matter of minutes is amazing and greatly adds to the experience of being in venice. kind staff and clean rooms make the stay all the better. great hotel!!

personnel tres disponible, aimable. Moquette épaisse, salle de bain immense, peignoirs de bains, peti dejeuner tres copieux : salé et sucré. On avait payé une chambre doble standars et on a eu pour le meme prix une chambre supérieure. Rien à dire ! et la situation géographique est TOP !!
