Hotel Maritime Plaza - Montreal

The room was clean, air conditioner was a little weak and the room too warm. I was on the 4th floor facing the main street which was a little loud. The location is excellent to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful night view outside from upper floors as it looks over the river. Sticky bathroom floor, toilet hard time flushing. Big Carpet spot. Staff and service good, except no room service on Monday nights and this is not noted anywhere, (no warning about that).

Good value for money. Excellent location in downtown Montreal, close to Subway. Parking reasonable but very tight spaces.

everything was great with two exceptions, the bathroom was small and the parking was extremly difficult. But on the whole I would recomend this hotel

Good location, close to St. Catherine Street. Great for the money.

My son and I came up to Monteral a day early and needed somewhere quick, decent, and fairly cheap. This place was just fine for all that. Nice location and a good value for a quick stay. Would not stay long term, rooms a little small for that however, parking was easy and everyone seemed nice. I read a comment that parking was free, not the case but, very fairly priced for the night.

If walking around downtown Montreal and not needing a car is important to you this is an excellent choice. Very convienient and moderatly priced has touces of full service hotel:ease of parking, bar with pool table and restaurant in lobby, and pool. Somewhat dated and small closets and few shelves in bath room but other then that it's an excellent choice and high value for the cost. I would stay there again. It is very close to all the hot spots and Bell Center.

OVER ALL GOOD VALUE, GOOD LOCATION, FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT STAFF

the roo was clean and spcious (business class). The indoor pool and workout room were a nice amenity. The parking area below the hotel is very crowded but worth the price. I would stay there again and probably will soon.

A very reasonably priced hotel only three block to the Bell Centre was what we were looking for and we found it in the Maritime. The staff was great, rooms clean and we will be back again.

Great location, nice hotel and room. We liked the pool and there were also nice people at front desk. Only one thing we were very disapointed, but I don't know if that is Canadian low or hotel rule. There is a nice little bar in the hotel and we had 2 years old baby sleeping in the stroller and wanted get something for drink and they don't let you stay in the bar area with anyone who is under 18!!! so even we would park the stroller with sleeping baby there (nobody smoked there and there was only 2 other people sitting) , they ask us to leave the bar. I sow one family with 17 years old, the ask them the same, even he would just get the orange juice, they had to leave...which is really stupid...

We liked the hotel, location was great and people at the front desk very nice. Only one person in the garage wasn't very nice at all. The pool was great, room nice and beutiful restaurant with good food. The only thing we didn't like was dry air in the room (which they can not probably do to much about that) and very noisy elvator we heard all night. We stayed with the baby and had a great time.

Good location, not far from the busy Sainte Catherine street

The beds were horrible!! The pillows were equally uncomfortable. Besides that, the hotel was fine. The restaurant had delicious food and the bar was good. The shower head was very powerful. It felt like getting a massage. But without a decent nights sleep, none of it was very good.

Really easy to walk anywhere from there. Right by St Catherine Street, with many restaurants and shops. They did not charge me for a fridge in the room, which was great, cause most hotels in Montreal will charge you for that. Very close to a subway station that can get you anywhere around the city. My only complaint is that the room was really small (still good for a couple, but i think it was the smallest room i've ever stayed in), and we were on the top floor, which for some reason had the heat turned on on a high setting and we had to sleep with the windows open to compensate for the heat. Other than that, it was great.

Nice clean room, great location, one block of Saint Catherine's. Friendly staff although didn't get a lot of touristic information out of them. Highly recommend this hotel; cannot beat the price and location.

The room was more than I expected. Clean and comfortable. The location could not have been better - one block from Sainte Catherine's street! Beautiful pool and sunroof area. Wonderful place to stay!

Great Hotel. The reviews online were misleading. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpfull. Great location. The gift shop was great and not expensive at all. We booked through Hotels.com and got a great deal, when we got there we got a room in the executive floor (nice). Breakfast is very expensive, so do yourself a favor and go eat at a local cafe. One bad thing, when we got there at 3pm we had to wait for 50 minutes for a room. After a 6 hour drive this wasnt pleasant. Call as soon as you get in Montreal to make sure your room will be ready. But overall, The Maritime is a great hotels, we recomend it to everyone and we will go back.

Although the Maritime isn't the greatest hotel out there in terms of room amenities, it is a great deal considering the fantastic location, convenient parking, and overall very respectable standards. I've stayed here twice and overall have been very pleased. The reasonable hotel rates make the Maritime an excellent pick if you are looking to stay in Downtown Montreal.

you get what you pay for... 3 star hotel is accurate... only complaint was no free wi-fi...but great location, close to everything...walking distance

Please note that parking and wi-fi access is NOT free...

TV was small, but the room was large. Nice bathrooms and very clean.

Nice hotel. Close to the Bell Centre and Ste. Catharine St. Very clean and our room was really nice.

As others have mentioned the wait for the elevator is ridiculous. We were on the 8th floor and waited over 15 minutes before taking the stairs. Also the ice machine was empty on every floor. There is no A/C therefore opening the window is necessary during warmer months which also lets in the noise of loud boisterously drunks yelling on the streets in the early morning hours. For the money, the room and bathroom were extremely small and nothing special. We might've been better off at a budget hotel.

I thought the pictures on the internet was somewhat misleading. The actual hotel is not as nice as it appears on the pictures however, the rooms were clean and the location was great. Also, keep in mind that parking garage is very tight and the spaces are very compact and not designed for vans or suv's. Overall my one night stay at Maritime Plaza was a good experience.

The place is great. the staff is very helpful. very clean hotel. we did not have towels after they cleaned. with in 1 minute after calling the front desk they were at our door with them. very helpful for directions. the only thing i can complain about is the price of food in the restaurant. i would recommend not eating there. very expensive. but other than that i have no proble with going back there again. great place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The parking garage is small and they run out of space at busy times. The location is great (near shopping,and events at Centre Bell).

Hotel room did not have the AC & Heating working . Has to change rooms. Bathrooms are nothing great. Hotel has an excellent location

very convinient hotel location,you had around you the main streets and all the nice stores. very nice area right in downtown. the service was good and the room was very clean.

The Ups were not clean, there were stains on the window cill. There was still hair on the shampoo bottles.

Great location near night life. Indoor parking garage was nice but very narrow and somewhat hard to drive in, can only fit small cars. hotel staff were nice and helpful. my only complaint is they charge about twenty five dollars per person per night if you have more then two people staying in the room. over all my stay was a great experience and i will be staying there again in the future.

There wasn't anything special about this hotel. The hallway did smell a little bit and wasn't as presentable as I thought it should be. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay in Montreal.

The hotel was in a great location for our trip and for the price we paid, was certainly more than we expected. The rooms are very nice as well as the bar and the pool. The only complaint is the lack of parking, but the sister hotel located one street over had plenty. Would definitely stay here again!

The Maritime Hotel is a great hotel conviently located near the Bell Centre. The room are clean and comfy. The bed is super comfortable.

The hotel was very accomidating to my friends and I, and was convinently located about a 5 minute walk from anything we needed to do. I would definetly stay here again, and am planning a current summer trip!
