The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel - Boston

Wir hatten zu zweit ein Zimmer mit Queensize Bett aber es gab nur einen Stuhl im Zimmer und insgesamt sieben Kleiderbuegel sowie genau zwanzig cm Haengestange fuer lange Kleidung wie Hosen und keinen einzigen Haken etwas fuer Mantel, Jacke, Nachthemd Meinen grossen Koffer liess ich gleich unausgepackt es gab fuer den Inhalt keinen Platz Auch im Bad keine einzige Ablageflaeche Das schmaelert das PreisLeistungsverhaeltnis doch sehr Eigentlich liesse sich die Ausstattung mit wenigen Handgriffen so verbessern dass man sich in dem Zimmer auch bei Regen aufhalten moechte und koennte denn ansonsten hat das Hotel mehr Flair als anonyme moderne Kaesten und ist exzellent gelegen Das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Very nice hotel but rooms were really small and at the very least wifi should have been free at this price. The hotel staff was fantastic and dog in the lobby is a nice addition. Personally though, I would recommend staying at the Westin across the street because your way more likley to get a better view and the rooms are more comfortable. I had a pleasant experience overall but it didn't live up to my expectations.

Wet paint on door next to handle, no warning...toilet overflowed...front desk clerk upon check-in seemed to be in a hurry, while no other guests were there. A big disappointment.

The location was awesome, the bldg has a nice core, but the appointments like railings, carpets, etc were somewhat dingy for the money and name. The hotel hallways had a old musty unpleasant smell. The staff was disengaged unlike most Fairmont's I have experienced. It seems like a problem with the hotels specific management because all of the issues seemed easily addressable. For example, the door staff was unattentive and unhelpful in finding taxis acting as though they were doing a favor if you could get there attention. For the money, I think I would try a different hotel next go round. On the other hand the location on the green line is very helpful.

My husband and I only stayed at the hotel for 1 night. The room was very nice and clean. The bathroom faucet leaked but that wasn't a huge problem. We did see a gigantic cockroach in the hotel lobby that everyone just seemed to be stepping over. Guess that's not a big deal for some. The location cannot be beat. You are right near everything in the Back Bay area. Boylston Street is one block away and Newbury Street is two blocks away. The Theatre disctict is a very short walk or cab ride away. I wish it was a little bit cheaper especially for a 1 night stay, but over all I can't complain.

This hotel might be a Fairmont, but it has character and warmth and it has a dog hanging out in the lobby , which you can take for walks. Great location. Rooms were very comfortable and they smelled heavenly.

Great location and only a short distance from Logan Airport (15 minutes). Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. For parents with small children or if you are just an animal lover, plan to arrange a walk with Catie, the hotel's Black Retriever. Cudo's to all of the hotel staff especially Vincent and Joe who assisted us with directions and dinner recommendations. "Joe", we forgot to leave you a note, but your recommendation for Italian food was great. It was the best Italian dinner we have had to date. For those traveling by car, plan to shell out some bucks as parking in the downtown area is expensive.

As I pulled up at the hotel entrance the cab driver who had brought me from Logan Airport said it was the best hotel in Boston, and it lived up to his billing. Ornate lobby, high ceilings, fine decorations and big spacy rooms. Handily placed for Fenway Park & Boston Common.

Not quite sure how it happened, but we were upgraded to the Gold Level, which gave us access to the lounge offering complimentary appetizers, breakfast and non-alcoholic drinks plus an honor bar for booze. The lounge also provided ample space to relax by the fire, read, chat, or just escape the VERY small room that, while luxurious, was quite cramped for two.

The bath tub water plug was designed poorly. There was literally no way to take the plug out and let the water go. I have to call room service to have someone come in my room at 11pm with tools to take the plug off and the water finally went away. The valet parking is $42 per day, plus extra $12 is parking beyond noon the day you check out. The con side is, the location and interior of the lobby is disputablely beautiful.

This hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, beautiful, and quiet. I couldn't ask for anything better!

Classic hotel, great location, steps from Back Bay station.

Great hotel located about a mile from Fenway Park. Friendly people and very comfortable. Definitely looks like an expensive and posh hotel. I found the heat/air conditioning didn't work too well, and the hotel was a little loud (but that may have been simply where my room was located within the hotel). Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Great location. Beautiful hotel.

This Hotel was beautiful and clean. Other than the annoying loud people in our hallway each night (which is not the hotels fault) we had great sleep.

Very elegant hotel- "very Boston". Staff was very courteous and helpful. Excellent location in the heart of downtown Boston.

Easy access to Copley Square, shopping and restaurants. Easy access to train system. Beautiful hotel.

While the thermostat was set as low as possible, our room was still far too hot. Thankfully we were able to crack the window and cool it off.

If you are looking for a contemporary, slick hotel ... don't go here. If you are looking for ritzy, throw-back charm... this is the place. It's old, but the rooms do meet modern standards as far as amenities/cleanliness. Even the toiletries are very upscale. The lobby itself is a sight to see with photo opps at every corner. The neighborhood is great for dining and shopping. We stayed during the Xmas season and it was a great way to take in a little reminder of days gone by.

It was a nice hotel but a few things to keep in mind: Cons: Old building The rooms are drafty and cool. Elevators and stairwells are cold. The bathrooms are small and while modernized don't have a lot of counter space. The showers are small with so-so showerheads. Rooms are smaller with so-so view. Not sure how they compare with other Boston Hotels though. Parking is expensive $42 bucks per night for valet. Similar to other big cities I guess. Pros Service and concierge were great. Room service while expensive was catering and great. Beautiful hotel. Right off of I90 so easy to get to from NY. Nice area, two blocks from Newbury street and other great locations. I enjoyed my stay there.

Elegance, convenient location, willing service. All in all a terrific value for the price.

The staff could not have been more friendly / helpful. We have four year old twin boys and they had an absolutely fantastic time.
