ungeschickt konstruierte Badezimmereinrichtung: die Tür ist im Weg. Tageszeitung liegt frühmorgens vor dem Zimmer parat. Für amerikanische Verhältnisse eher unfreundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Unbedingt in hohem Stockwerk Zimmer verlangen: die Aussicht ist hervorragend.

Für Deutsche Ohren ist der ständig laufende Lüfter im Bad natürlich zu laut. Ein Zimmer neben den Aufzügen ist auch nicht zu empfehlen. Ansonsten liegt das Hotel aber sehr zentral und ist in einem guten Zustand.

Vom Zimmer im 34. Stock hatten wir einen wunderbaren Ausblick. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Leider gibt es kein Restaurant und Bar/Cafe haben uns gar nicht gefallen. Exzellentes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Super Lage

Unweit von Cable-Car Einstieg, China town, Coit tower in 30 min zu Fuß, Parken bei Hotel ca. 50,--$/Nacht! (Garagen in der Nähe ca. 10,--$) Zimmer geräumig, gute Betten, alles sauber, Panoramafenster - obere Stockwerke haben tolle Aussicht; Restaurants im Haus und umliegend, sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Banken (Finanzdistrict!) vor der Tür. Waren 2 Erwachsene/2 Kinder (12, 14), hatten ausreichend Platz. Hotel empfehle ich jederzeit weiter!

Sehr gepflegtes und geschmackvolles Hotel in sehr gutem Umfeld. Ideale Lage für San Francisco. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß oder per Taxi für 10$ zu erreichen. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr zu empfehlen.

chaotischer "Service" Zimmer trotz hoher Kategorie relativ klein, schimmelnder Käse der Vorgänger in der Minibar die auch nicht neu gefüllt wurde und dann aber auf meiner Rechnung stand, Limousinenservice hat gar nicht geklappt, kein Fitnessraum wer auf Service keinen Wert legt ist sicher hier ganz zufrieden, da Zimmer ansonsten sauber, relativ ruhig, sehr gute Betten, Ausstattung ok- kein freier www zugang(in dieser Hotelklasse eigentlich peinlich) und in den hohen Etagen (ab Etage 14) super Blick auf die Stadt

I thought it was too expensive for what it is. It was a great room, though a bit small. Disappointed it did not have a pool. Great customer service.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The location of the hotel was great also because union square was only 2 blocks away.

I booked this room days before I was to see Wicked at the Orpheum on a Friday of Labor Day weekend. The room was immaculate and comfortable. I think that the pillows could have been better, I've had better pillows at lower end hotels. I drove in and paid around $50 for valet. I thought that was "fair" because the hotel is walking distance to many things-shopping, the theatre district, restaurants. I thought that the customer service in the hotel was good, but I had breakfast at Ducca (the hotel restaurant) and the service was.. ehh.. crap. The hostess seemed distracted, and was not friendly at all. I had no clue who my server really was (there were three different guys serving us), and I had to ask for everything specifically on my own. I felt like I might as well have been serving myself. I also worked out at the gym on the fourth floor. It was a decent sized gym for a quick workout, but i have stayed at lesser hotels with more complete gyms in the past-so I was a little disappointed. If u are looking for a comfortable night's stay with convenience, I think this hotel is worth the money. I was slightly disappointed in the service. The entire hotel seemed a little chaotic.

Stayed on 34th floor. Had great views of Moscone Center and south side of the city.

Great hotel, great location. Beware, parking at the hotel is $50/day.

I've stayed at other Westin hotels that were much nicer. The room was kind of small and the bed not as comfortable as the others.

The location was very convenient -- it's easy to walk to SOMA, Union Square, financial district, waterfront (ferry building/ Embarcadero), Chinatown, and North Beach from the hotel. We stayed on the 36th (top) floor and had a nice view of the bay (Alcatraz); if we stood close to the window, we could also see the Bay Bridge and Golden Gate bridge. As advertised, the beds are extremely comfortable. The dual shower heads make the shower an equally luxurious experience. The decor is neutral but pleasant. I'd be happy to stay there again, and will also seek out Westin hotels for other trips now that I've experienced their "heavenly bed."

From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The room was very comfortable and clean. The double shower head in the bathroom was a bonus after a long day of walking. Great views of Alcatraz and the bay bridge.They didn't miss a thing there were even wine glasses in your rooms. Beds very comfortable and the best part was walking into the lobby everyday. A large table with the most beautiful orchids and hydrangea's sat on it and set off the most incredible aroma every time you open the doors. It was also very centrally located across the street from a nice little bar with very reasonable drinks and food. My only negative to the entire stay at the Westin was the incredibly over priced restaurant. We had our most expensive meal of the trip there and it was breakfast. Talk about sticker shock. We had 2 cups of coffee, 2 orange juices, eggs benedict(not very good btw) and an omelette. The other nice feature the hotel had was a courtyard with a firepit which was nice to sit and have an overly priced glass of wine at. Yes again very expensive but still a nice place for happy hour. Will most absolutely recommend this place to anyone, just eat elsewhere.

The location was nice being in the middle of the downtown area. Everything was in walking distance.

Our stay was perfect. The hotel was centrally located, near parking, shopping and food. The room had an amazing view looking over the Bay from the South.

Very nice hotel; staff was courteous and helpful. Restaurant excellent. Comfortable beds; quit room. We enjoyed our stay.

Good Location, Clean Rooms but staff could be more attentive and friendlier!

Good hotel. Nice accomodations. Only complaint was they never gave us enough washcloths. Either no washcloths or one to share between 2 registered guests. Concierge service was excellent. Everyone was very considerate and accomodating.

We had 2 rooms, 1 king, 1 with 2 beds. Both had super great comfort. Huge rooms with crystal desk, the furniture was brand new, new carpets. What I don't understand is: Why they use shower curtains instead of plastic and aluminum doors, it's much better. Anyway, other than that, it was a great choice. Also valet parking is super expensive as in most major cities, you really don't need a car, subway and trolleys are around the corner and Bart too (train to the airport).

WE'VE STAYED HERE BEFORE - THE ROOM IS GREAT. FELT THE LOUNGE RATES WERE VERY EXCESSIVE.

Great hotel. Oustanding location. Close to Union Square, shopping areas and most cable care/bus routes. I wouldn't recommend valeting a car as it is very expensive, but we used the concierge recommended daily car rental to visit the wine country and that worked out well. Good service and nice bar/restaurant onsite although we didn't eat there.

I travel a lot and this was one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. It was convenient to everything that we wanted to see in San Fransisco. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The view in the room was fabulous! The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Hotel was nice...but the room was really small...i would never pay full price for a room at the SF Market street Westin!

The hotel was clean and conveniently located near Fisherman's Wharf, Downtown, Little Italy, Japantown, Chinatown, and the "World's Crookedest Street". Parking is difficult to find in San Francisco. Valet at the hotel ran at $48 per night with in and out privileges. Call ahead of time to find out if the prices have changed. Our "deluxe" room was rather small for a deluxe in my opinion, but I cannot say for sure since this is the only room we saw at the hotel. Good value overall.

Good location, nice rooms, although a bit noisy at times, concierge service was OK but it depended on who you worked with. Nice views of the city.

We were able to book the Westin San Francisco Market Street hotel at a very reasonable rate through hotels.com. It has all of the amenities of a typical Westin hotel and is situated next to Union Square. It is very conveniently located to the center of the city and major forms of public transportation.
