Sehr gutes Hotel. Der erste Eindruck von aussen taeuscht ein wenig, befindet man sich erstmal drinnen ist wirklich alles prima. Freie Mini Bar, freies Premiere TV, freie Fahrrad Ausleihe, freies Internet, grosszuegige Wilkommen Drinks und eine sehr gute Lage in Frankfurt. Mehr braucht man wirklich nicht.

I wish I could share the pictures I took of my room at this hotel. It was a fluke that I booked myself at the Hotel Hessischer Hof. It had a great price and was in a location (neighborhood) I knew from past travels. The room in which I stayed is huge even by American standards. The furniture was authentic and lovely, the service was old world, and the menu for in-room dining was great. I think I might have tried each delicious dish in the days I spent – not to mention a free mini-bar with fresh fruit and sundries. The hotel is situated on a divided road with a greenbelt in between. I had nice walks each evening with families from the nearby residential area. The staff made sure I was taken care of and treated me like a VIP my whole stay. I enjoyed a spectacular buffet brunch on Sunday before I left. Not only do I recommend this hotel but I will return with other travelers – business or otherwise!

I made a last minute reservation at this hotel when I ended up staying in Frankfurt unexpectedly. The staff was fantastic. They helped me quickly learn where to go in the city and let me into my very early in the day. The room was blue and yellow and very neatly decorated. It reminded me of a quaint summer cottage in the heart of Frankfurt. There was complimentary fruit and water waiting. The hotel is extremely close to the Festhalle/Messe U-bahn stop which makes for travel around the very easy.

Coming from a hotel background, this hotel is extremely well run with comforts galore, outstanding service from all of the staff and a great value for the money. It is an excellent location if you plan to do business in the financial center of town. If you are there for sightseeing as we were, bring a comfortable pair of shoes or expect to use cabs or the conveniently located public transportation to get you to where you want to go. The ONLY negative for us was that we felt the breakfast was greatly over-priced for what was being offered and there were no other possibilities to have breakfast nearby. Despite that we would definitely consider staying there again.

We really loved the Hessischer Hof. We went to Frankfurt for my partners birthday and also to visit the xmas markets. The hotel isn't new and modern, however is really comfortble. We loved it - warm, really comfy bed and the free mini bar was nice. No kettle in the room though, that's the only negative comment. Location is great, the U-Bahn being on the doorstep.

I loved this hotel. The service was amazing. Facilities worked and the additional touches to the room was great. (All the rooms have a stepper and weights) The location is excellent as it is walking distance from the centre and also the train station. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. I will certainly use this hotel again.

This hotel was elegant; a German classic. I've never seen a free minibar, either, and a fruit bowl in your room in case you feel you need a snack. I can't wait to return some day. And don't miss the breakfast; although pricey, there is everything you could want. Also, the location was perfect. Within walking distance from the main train station, yet out of the way of the Red Light district.

I wanted to stay in a nice hotel on the final night of a 2-week trek across Europe, and the Hessicher Hof looked like it'd be sufficient. We arrived sweaty, stinky, and exhausted after a day of wandering around Strasbourg and riding trains, both with bad colds -- certainly not the usual fare for a 5-star hotel. The staff barely batted an eye, and were extremely helpful. The bathroom and bed were wonderful, and they even had some English-language channels on the TV. In the morning we asked about visiting a pharmacy, and the staff sent someone to pick up medicine for us and translated the instructions! Next time I'm in Frankfurt, I'll be staying here again -- even if I'm attending a conference on the other side of town. It was that good.

Absolutely first class, we had a beautiful suite on the 3rd floor, plus the service was outstanding. Hotel restaurant also first class.

The room size was good compared to most hotels in Europe. The hotel staff was exceptional and the location was decent. Similar hotels in Europe would go for a lot more money. Worth the money. I would recommend.

Upon arriving at this hotel, the staff immediately came out to greet my wife and me by name. With a short walk to the "Philosopher's Walk" which has wonderful views of the city and Heidelberg Castle, this fine hotel boasts an elegant gourmet restaurant and traditional german restaurant. The short walk to the river is a bit steep, but it allows a pleasant walk across the footbridge and into the downtown area of Heidelberg, where shops and cafes surround the beautiful historic church. One small problem is that the hotel had no-one on staff through the night. Overall, a beautiful, historic hotel in a wonderful quiet area.

Elegant, comfortable, beautiful surroundings, breakfast is expensive, 21 euros, but worth it.
