Croce Di Malta Hotel - Florenz

Hotel in Toplage, man kommt fast überall zu Fuß hin. Die Ausstattung ist mäßig, vor allem das Bad ist unterdurchschnittlich. Auch das Frühstück war mäßig. Wer hier nur schlafen will, ist gut aufgehoben.

very good value in central florence. The swimming pool was put to good use by our children.The restaurant (breakfast and dinner)) were below par compared to similar Irish standards, but otherwise this hotel was very good. I would definately go back.

Great hotel - very grand & well kept. The pool is a godsend in the heat. Area is not great, but convenient with about 10 minutes from the train station. Roof bar is nice but expensive. Breakfast is standard continental fare.

I thoroughly enoyedmy stay at the croce di malta hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and always very plesant. The breakfast was nothing spectacular but there was more than enough to satisfy. The swimming pool is small but is open 24 hours a day and very welcome after a long day exploring Florence. The hotel is also ideally situated as it is very close to the duomo and the main train and bus stations are round the corner. Again, I emphasize how much I enoyed my stay and would be more than happy to return!

With-in walking distance of train station and major tourist attractions. Nice clean room. Nice pool.

The hotel room was roomy and comfortable with a scenic rooftop view from the balcony. The outside pool area was a nice place to relax. The staff was great to work with particulary Gaele at the front desk. The train station was a short walk to the hotel which made it easy. The all you can eat breakfast was pretty good too.

Very good hotel - very nice staff, clean and good value. Really well located - 5 minutes walk from the central bus and train station in Florence and also just within the historic pedestrianised centre. Would definitely stay there again

I choose this hotel based on other reviews on this site. I did not get what I expected. First, the hotels claims to have internet access. This is only partially true. The wireless does not work in the rooms! If you wanted access you had to go down to the lobby to access their pathetically weak wireless signal. This was a huge inconvenience considering I was in Florence for business and needed to use my computer. When I asked the front desk about this they were not surprised and pointed out how nice the lobby was. The shower was postage stamp small. No matter how hard I tried it was almost impossible not to flood the bathroom floor with every shower. Also, when the front desk changed currency for me they refused to give me a receipt. From what I could understand is was because the hotel was not authorized to change money and didn't want a record of the transaction. To top things off the heat in my room wouldn't stay on for more than 30 seconds so my room was freezing every night. Yes the hotel was inexpensive, but there are other inexpensive hotels in Florence that offer more than this one. The whole experience probably wouldn't have bothered me so much it they provided what they said they were going to, but from the description this hotel offers a lot and delivers little.

Although in a very convenient location near the train station, this hotel coould stand some sprucing up for the cost of the room. The lobby is modern, but the rooms are dated. No one was at the bar whenever we wanted to partake. Did have a quaint pool area which was good for kids.

I stayed at the Croce Di Malta on the vacation side of my European trip. I booked the hotel at an excellent rate USD and was not disappointed. My Froders book told me to be careful in the neighborhood but I was a single, young female traveling alone and never felt threatened at ALL. Loved the location and the friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. The only downside was that Santa Maria Novella is under construction and is not a beautiful as I'm sure it normally is. However, my stay was pleasant. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. A STEAL for european travel.

We found the hotel to have large rooms which were clean and beautifully decorated (simple decor). The service was efficient & the staff both knowledgable and helpful. We were unable to use the pool due to rain but it looked clean and the atmosphere was relaxing/romantic. The hotel was also conveniently located near the train and the tourist sites. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

Hotel calme malgré sa situation en ville. Un charmant patio avec piscine avec peu de monde et très appréciable aux heures les plus chaudes de la journée. Petit-déjeuner un peu "maigre" mais globalement une bonne adresse ou retourner.

Jó fekvésű, környezetének a hangulatát árasztja. Sok szolgáltatása árával korrelál.

Hotellet har ett bra läge i Florens. Skönt med liten pool på gården - man ganska risigt, skräpigt och trasigt runt omkring poolen. Rummen ok. Något slitet hotell. Frukostbuffén ok för att vara i Italien.

Hotellrommet vi fikk tildelt var OK, untatt aircon vifte som bråkte /Ikke virket. Det var 38grader C. Dette burde vært ordnet før utlevering. Det ordnet seg greit med bytte av rom samme kvelden. Aircon var her helt stabil, behagelig temp i rommet Nedspylingen av toalett er vanskelig. Frokosten var god, sengene var gode. Fornøyd med oppholdet.

Goed hotel in centrum van Florance. Zwembad is lekker na een lange dag lopen door Florance.

Ett hotell som ligger bra till både med tanke på stadens sevärdheter och närheten till järnvägsstationen. Rummet var som en liten svit med behaglig komfort både i inredning och "klimat". Poolen på innergården var ljuvlig under de otroligt varma dagar som vi var där. Takterassen med utsikt över bl.a Domen fantastisk. Personalen var hjälpsam och trevlig. I hotellets närhet hittade vi en restaurang. Rotonda, som blev en favorit. Prisvärd , god italiensk mat och mycket trevlig personal. Här fanns goda Ciantiviner till bra pris.

Hotellet hadde helt greie rom og 1 etg med resepsjonen var ganske bra. Derimot var hotellets basseng stengt da vi var der. Det at hotellet hadde basseng var hovedgrunnen til at vi valgte hotellet. Uteområdet til hotellet hvor bassenget lå, var også dårligt vedlikeholdt. Vi hadde valgt et annet hotell dersom vi skulle ha reist tilbake.

Vicino al centro e alla stazione di Santa Maria Novella. Personale molto cordiale. Camera curata e pulita. Buona la colazione. Carina la piscina interna soprattutto per i mesi estivi.

Bon hôtel. Personnel agréable et serviable. Chambre correcte. Seul point négatif mais qui a son importance: il n'y a pas de double vitrage et la rue est très passante (voitures...) donc assez bruyant.
