Das Hotel ist rundum zufriedenstellend. Allenfalls das etwas kleine Einzelzimmer ist zu bemängeln.

The hotel is in a super location across the street from the train station and a short walk to the lake. Ask the front desk for free passes to ride the city bus downtown and the train to the airport (5 minutes away). We had not reserved adjoining rooms ahead of time for our family (two adults, two kids), but they were able to find some anyway with a connecting door. The rooms are quite comfortable. We avoided the expensive breakfast buffet and bought croissants at the mall under the train station.

Clean and well furnished. Easy walk to the lake. Walked back in the evening after meal in old town and felt safe. Most important, it was right across the street from the train station! For those flying into and out of Geneva, an all important factor especially when lugging big luggage. You get the day pass from the airport or hotel and you have a free 5 minute ride to the airport. Would skip the 30CHF breakfast. Didn't take it but I have yet to find a continental breakfast worth 30CHF- and that is after spending three weeks consuming every variation thereof through nice parts of western Europe. Go for a croissant and coffee elsewhere.

Warwick Hotel is directly across the street from the Geneva train station. The hotel was extremely convenient for our over night trip since we were returning to the states on the next day. The reception staff was very helpful and gave us great tips on restaurants and local attractions. The hotel is a very short walk to the lake front attractions and many good restaurants. The Warwick Hotel price includes local bus and boat transportation around Lake Geneva (don't miss the opportunity to hop on one of the yellow boats for a lovely ride around the eastern end of Lake Geneva). IF you are on a budget, dine at a sidewalk cafe near the hotel and order the Swiss Fondue (it was delicious and well worth the price).

This hotel is in a fantastic location for travel- it is right across the street from the train station. It's not the greatest of neighborhoods, but it wasn't dangerous and you could walk anywhere in downtown Geneva from the hotel. The breakfast was pricey but convenient. Internet usage was also pricey. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures show.

For anyone traveling to Geneva by train, the Warwick Hotel is an excellent place to stay. When exiting the Geneva train station, the hotel is diagonally across the street and easily visible. It is only a five minute walk from a bridge over the Rhone that takes you to the old part of the city. A 4 star hotel that deserves its rating in all regards.

This place was really cool and the people were really nice, but the price was a bit high for the average traveler. However, Galliard France, which is advertised as really close to Geneva is quite far away so staying in the city is a must.

Right across the street from train/bus station; concierge is exceptionally helpful; provide free internet (ethernet cable) or you pay for wireless; very clean; a little traffic noise if on the road side; nice restaurant; restaurants, shops, and grocery store within walking distance.

Reception Staff, most notably Sandie, were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. I recommend this hotel for the price and value! Good location and nice rooms.

Overall the hotel was pretty good and the location very convenient. The hotel had use of a chain of fitness establishments within walking distance (no more than 10 minutes) which was well worth it. Due to unavailability, I was put in a small room the first night with a promise to change it to a regular room for the remaining nights. The front desk clerk tried to persuade me to stay in this room for the remainder of the stay and only after I insisted and got the Manager did she relent. The rest of the stay was fine and the inclusive breakfast was excellent.

Checked in at gone 01.00 in the morning and was relieved to find they had kept my room, as rooms are scarce in Geneva. The hotel is old and tired but clean and because of its situation is very very conveniant. I was woken abt 06.45 with banging noise in the hotel - phoned down but got no sense from reception. went back to sleep fitfully. The phone kept on mysteriously ringing at 10.30 and 10.55 just prior me checking out - almost to hurry me out. At reception I was not the only person to complain of in house hotel noise.

The hotel was beautiful in it's decor and furnishings. The reception the bar, the restaurant and the rooms were quite palatial. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will certainly return.

The rooms at the Hotel Warwick are in bad need of renovation. Our room featured peeling wallpaper, scuffed walls, and dirty carpets and curtains. It was loud at night due to the elevators or some sort of appliance next to our room. The air conditioning was broken in our room as well, which meant that our only hope for escaping from the stifling room was to open the window to the loud street below. The staff was also very unhelpful. We were erroneously charged for phone calls we didn't make and we were registered under the wrong names, and therefore were unidentifiable by the hotel operator when colleagues called the hotel looking for us. The lobby is smoke-filled and crowded at all hours. If it weren't for the location, I would have moved to a different hotel after the first night.

This was a four star property that matched it's rating. A very nice property within walking distance to the train station and the old town and major sightseeing. The staff was business like and courteous. The room was small, typical of European hotels, but clean and comfortable. The concierge was not as familiar with some of the tourist options and had know brochures for the bus or trolley tours. Probably caters more to business clientele. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would stay here again myself.

We've just spent 3 nights at the Warwick, and enjoyed our stay very much. Ideally located for everything, and just a few strides from the station and taxis. Enjoyed sitting in the bar area, apart from the smokers, but bar staff lovely. I was able to use the computer, although a 15 minute session costs 9CHF, which is a tad pricey. Breakfast was really good, and we had a nice evening meal in the restaurant too, although you should try La Petite Chalet, just a 5 minute walk away, it was excellent, and not expensive, just turn left at hotel entrance, then left again, then 2nd right. Overall, excellent stay.

We found the hotel staff to be exceedingly friendly, and the location excellent. The only problem was they didn't have a room w/a queen or king bed, so we got stuck with two single beds pushed together. They were uncomfortably hard, and kept sliding apart, so sleeping next to each other was impossible. Other than that, though, our stay in Geneva was fantastic. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel as a whole wasn't bad - it was clean and pleasant enough. Also it was well located, being directly opposite the central station in Geneva. We generally enjoyed our stay there, but the one thing that really niggled us was some aspects of the service. The hotel had a constant knack for quoting times at which things were served till, then not keeping to these times. We were told breakfast was till 11 am at weekends, but narrowly missed being let in at 10:30. They also seemed less than keen to let us into the restaurant one evening at 9:30 (should be open til 10), and encouraged us to eat our meal in the bar instead. We didn't feel very welcomed! Also one evening, we were unable to order room service, even though it was well before the quoted time to close; we suspect because they were watching the rugby! I hope this helps any other travellers!

The hotel was conveniently located by train station, and in walking distance to evertything. Good service, nice clean room with marble bath. The only complaint I have really is the room was on the small side, but that is to be expected in Europe in bigger cities.

Found a friendlier hotel with services we needed -- free breakfast and free internet access, plus a view of the Rhone River, for less money on our way back through Geneva.

this hotel has an excellent concierge it is next to the train and bus stops. the grocery,souveneir shops and malls are walking distance

The Warwick has many fine qualities. But it has a problem with smoking. We asked for a non-smoking room. We were granted a room that had no detectable smoke smells, although it did have an ashtray. The problem was that there was clearly no section of the hotel that was sectioned off as smoke-free. People were smoking in the room next door. And cigarette smoke odors could be detected coming from many of the doors on the floor. For someone whose sinuses get irritated by smoke, this hotel could be a real nuisance. For someone with a serious allergy problem, this hotel could be a health hasard. Also: smoking is allowed in the lobby and smoking patrons fill the lobby, as far as I can tell, all day long. For a hotel that charges as much as this one does, there is no reason that SOME smoke-free environment cannot be supplied somewhere in the hotel.

The Warwick was ridiculously overpriced for the type of service it provided. The concierge was very rude and unhelpful. They would not print out directions for us when we requested driving directions. Also the maid service was extremely awkward and would come in at various times of the day for no reason (as in they were finished cleaning the room and she would come in). In general I would not recommend the Warwick to anyone. Also it was not even all that close to the central areas.

Room was not ready upon arrival, however, we were 40 minutes early. On entering the room, the bathroom smelled as if someone had just used it. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the room, but was very good. The concierge was very helpful in holding our bags until room was available, delivering the bags to our room promptly, and ordering our taxicab.

The location was outstanding! It was conveniently located across from the main train station and was within walking distance to the lake, shops, & restaurants. The hotel was very clean, but the rooms were a bit small (although this is not unusual for European hotel rooms). The hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Hôtel superbement bien situé à 50 m de la gare centrale et très proche en même temps du centre de Genève. Accueil, service, confort, bar : très bien.

Het hotel is gelegen aan de overzijde van het station van Geneve. Dat is een mooie gelegenheid om, als u met de auto bet gekomen, deze even in de garage te laten staan en per trein een deel van Zwitzerland te bekijken.

hotel moderne récemment rénové .dommage que les chambres single n'aient pas de baignoire; je me serais attendu à être accompagné à la chambe dans un hôtel de cette catégorie. Bon rappot qualité prix mais petit déjeuner cher.

l'acceuil est le point fort de l'hotel, sa situation est idéale (au pied de la gare, mais pas pour autant bruillante). Seul regrès le grand lit était en deux parties.
