Pacific Inn - Seal Beach

good basic clean hotel, large room with 2 dbl beds, (only 2 in hotel). when we arrived at 3pm, room was not ready due to laundry problem, so we waited about 1.5 hrs (walked down to pier and village)staff was friendly, gave us drinks coupons and vouchers to make up for delay getting into room.

I would recommend this hotel, position perfect for beach shops and restaurants, staff were very helpful and the free shuttle from the hotel a real bonus, but would suggest asking for a room at the back of the hotel not on the main road.

Pool and Spa were nice. Room and beds were very comfortable. AC was excellent! Best was the location -- easy walk to the pier and back and we could enjoy the quaint local shops, eateries, and bars. We will definitely book here again.

We stay at the Pacific Inn every time we go to Seal Beach, the location is great short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Clean, staff is helpfull, nice swimming pool and hot tub. Free coffee and chocolate chip cookies everyday at the reception.

We wanted to spend only one night without the huge cost of a hotel close to the beach and town. Pacific Inn was great for the price and so close to town and the beach, just walking distance. We loved the room and our own little balcony. We will definitely stay there again. Not to mention great cookies when we checked in and continental breakfast!

More than I expected , the rooms were clean , service was great , parking was free and and the hotel has a free shuttle that will take you 5 miles from the location and pick you up whenever you are ready as well , 2 short blocks from the beach great scenic walk . Rooms have been re-mod. if you go to the main hotel website you can see updated pic. Near great shopping 1 blk historic downtown wonderful eating for all tastebuds, wonderful if you want to get away without the pricey tourist traps . great food 1 blk away . Pet friendly hotel and less than 5 min from Manhattan Beach were there is a wonderful dog beach as well . Can't wait to come back . Almost forgot to mention free cont. breakfast nothing super fancy but very clean free . well assorted .

The Hotel was in a great Spot on P.C.H. Between Long Beach and Huntington. No fee for Parking or Internet.. Only Problem was the frame on my bed was tilted

I was very pleased with the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The continental breakfast, the pool, jacuzzi, the cleanliness of the room were all great. For the location, I thought it was a great value. Thanks!

I found this hotel to be really good value for money and so much better than the usual chain hotels. The place is a bit quirky - pool above a car park?? - but I loved that. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but you've got great coffee shops in the area. Rooms were tastefully decorated and all round great, v good internet too so could be a business stop too. Convenient parking much appreciated.

Hotel needs updating, so the room rates are a little high in my opinion. Bathroom modernized, but room needs some re-work. Carpets needs to be replaced throughout hotel. Overall am satisfied - I didn't come to Seal Beach to stay indoors!

Quiet hotel, covered convenient parking. Walked a couple of blocks to Main St. and the beach with small shops and restaurants. Nice residential neighborhood surroundings. Indoor pool/spa area is sparkling and relaxing. Up-to-date bathroom furnishings. Cute balcony - ours overlooked a small tree filled park. Pacific Inn reminds one of a small, personable B&B.

I and my family enjoyed our stay in Seal Beach at the Pacific Inn. The hotel was what we expected it to be: clean, convenient, and kind of interestingly kitschy. The only real negative would be the really poor continental breakfast which was just packaged muffins and bad bagels essentially. However, there are lots of good restaurants within an easy walk, so that was not a deal killer for us. All in all, a good hotel but not great.

homey service, great location.

great room and great rate. we checked in late in the evening and the front desk was so helpful and kind.

Comfortable bed, spacious room, tiled shower area with hand held outlet and glass door, but paper towel dispenser was not securely fastened requiring two hands to operate. Pool is just an oversize bathtub which is located on 2nd floor in open atrium area enclosed by entry doors to rooms, as is the hot tub. Computer for guest use in lobby a great convenience. Minimal continental breakfast service.

The room had nice updates - bathroom and flat screen tv - but the bedding needs some help.

This was our second year staying at the Pacific Inn, and we'll probably be back next year. We park our car for the entire visit and can just walk wherever we want to go. It's clean, comfortable and very conveniently located. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was nicely updated and comfortable. Small if you are looking for space but for us it was perfect. The door needed a little work (had to really pull to shut) but great place for the money and great location. Minutes from cute downtown and walking distance to the ocean. Would definitely recommend it!

Bathroom: toilet leaking on floor, posssibly making risk of falls... rotten oranges placed in fruit basket @ coffee stand in lobby...should have been discussed @ registration: we were given rooms (option possible?) on same floor as pool & jaccuzi...which lead to noisy children grouping in that area...especially in early am causing sleep disturbance, no more sleep possible.

We stayed at the Pacific Inn following a cruise. Their complimentary shuttle service was fast and reliable. The frontdesk personnel were great, and check in was fast. The hotel, although not brand new, was clean and well maintained. Our room was large, and the beds were very comfortable. This is not a 5-star hotel, but neither is the price. I would highly recommend the Pacific Inn, as it is a very good value. We were more than pleased!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, except for the bed. One of those beds that completely sunk down in the middle so you felt like a taco. Very uncomfortable. Would stay there again, though, if I could make sure I was getting a firm bed. Loved everything else about it.

From the shampoo bottles in the bathrooms to the balconies and indoor/outdoor pool, the Pacific Inn was a pleasant experience overall. I've stayed at the hotel over the years and they have managed not only to maintain it, but to improve it. It's a wonderful walk to the pier and Main street from the hotel and very convenient to shopping.

A great place to stay if you want a quiet out of the way place, while visiting the Long Beach or Orange County areas.

Decent hotel priced well considering average hotel prices anywhere in the SoCal area. Some rooms on the second floor and third floor have a direct view of the pool area which is great if you have children. The Yucatan across the street has the best Mexican food I have had in awhile. Beware the Hanbero sauce is HOT!!!

Room was clean and comfortable(w. a big flatscreen TV), staff friendly and helpful, but hotel is close to Pacific Coast Hwy, so there's road noise all night long- and the hotel allows dogs, so you may have to put up with some barking during the night...

It's all about the location and less on the hotel itself.

I thought the hotel was a little pricey. It was clean enough. The bed was not fantastic. But, comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. Had a little personality( square bathroom sink with ultra modern faucet). The hotel also had an unusual pool and hot tub location on the second floor. They had a computer in the lobby and permitted us to check email and print boarding passes for our flights on checkout day, without charging us.

My group consisted of one adult and three 16-year-old girls. The room was very small and contained two double beds, which made it extremely cozy to move around. Pool area was very nice, and just a five minute walk to the beach, so I would recommend Pacific Inn for these reasons.

Very nice hotel, definitely a good value for the price. Very friendly staff, convenient to Seal Beach area. Only real complaint is that the beds were small for 2 people in each.

Hotel was clean, a few blocks from the beach, and was a pleasant experience all around.

Loved this hotel! The parking is right underneath and only a few blocks from Seal Beach. You could hear the ocean from the balcony. Nice Pool/Spa atrium area too!

My boyfriend and I have come to the Pacific Inn twice now, simply because of its charming location in the small town of Seal Beach. Though the hotel is not glamorous, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is an added bonus. Plus, they have fresh cookies for you in the lobby at night and the cute boutiques and cafes on Main Street are three short blocks away.

It was lovely. We especially thought the asian bathroom was wonderful. Very comfortable. A delight.
