Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage (2 Minuten zum Strand) mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Die Zimmer zur Strasse sind etwas laut. Der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen in der Pappillon Bar war sehr gut. Der Fitnessbereich ist extrem gut ausgestattet und bietet sowohl Kraft- wie auch Fitnessmaschinen. Auch Trainer stehen zur Verfügung. Leider ist er nicht 24 Stunden geöffnet was Kurzbesucher aus Europa helfen würde.

Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Strand ist direkt vor der Tür. Der Pool ist etwas klein und nicht sehr tief. Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

This hotel offers very good value, You don't often get a 52 inch high def' TV with a high def' cable source right o the beach with facilities like this ( I have stayed inUK 5 star hotels that are not a lot better than this)

not such a great hotel for the amount of money that you pay...location is great but still not worth the money...

WE WILL DEFINATELY STAY THERE AGAIN. OUR ROOM WAS AWESOME. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. THEY LET US TAKE OUR BIKES TO THE ROOM WITH US. WE TOOK A LARGE ICE CHEST - NO PROBLEM. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. PILLOW TOP KING SIZE BED MADE ME THINK I WAS SLEEPING IN MY OWN BED.

Was an incredible Hotel,and experience, I will coming back with my familiy,again. The view, the food are fantastic.....

I HAD A GRAND TIME TILL I CAME HOME AND FOUND THAT I HAD BEEN CHARGED TWO TIMES FOR MY ROOM WITCH OVER DREW MY BANK ACCT AND WAS CHARGED OVER 60.00 FROM HAVING A SECOND CHARGE FOR THE ROOM. FOOD WAS GOOD AND PRICED THE SAME FOR THE AREA SERVICE WAS GREAT WILL STAY NEXT TIME WHEN IN AREA

We stayed with our 6 yo twins. The staff gave them an arrival gift. The kids loved the beach and pier. Service was excellent!

The room was small and smelled of mildew

Even with construction going on for the front of the hotel, this is a GREAT place to stay. The rooms are comfy and clean. And the view from the pool, lobby, and restaurant make the location a gem. You can see the ocean and the lights of the pier at night. I think for the price, the hotel is a gem.

I choose this hotel because of it's beach location and proximity to the 3rd Street Promenade. The hotel lobby, pool and restaurants are beautful. My room was a bit dated, but very clean. The staff was wonderful--friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Very accommodating, helpful and courteous staff

The location on the beach is breathtaking and is 5 star, but the rooms are only 2 star. The bed is like sleeping on a cheap ironing board, the bathroom had some black mold and a tv in it that did not work. Go to The Huntley or The Viceroy if you want a nice room and can handle being near the beach but not on the beach instead of this place.

This was a very nice hotel with exceptional views. Parking is expensive though, $33 each day, so be aware it adds to the price. Also, you have to pay $11 each day for wireless internet in your room. Other than those added expenses it is quite a nice place to stay.

Beautiful hotel and a wonderful staff! Very clean with comfortable beds. Only complaints are that we had trouble finding out how to get to the beach. You could not access it from the pool, you had to take a particular elevator which was on the other side of the front desk completely away from the hotel elevators. Also, parking was $33 a day. Definitely would stay there again.

The hotel is in an awesome location on the beach and was very nice. Service was slow due to a convention, but eveything else was good.

The hotel is outstanding, but there was construction going on in the hotel. Because of the construction they closed the lobby bar, downstairs access to the beach, and limited access to the front driveway entrance. The hotel didn't mention there would be construction going on during my entire stay, when I checked in.

The Loews Santa Monica is as accommodating as it is gorgeous! Every amenity was taken care of - We didn't have to worry about a thing. Next time I'm bringing my pups!!

Considering the cost of other hotels along the beach, it's a good deal. Still a little pricey, but...

The Customer Service was incredible....from the minute we checked in until we checked out......four days of bliss................

We very much enjoyed our stay at loew's Santa Monica. The rooms( we stayed on two separate nights) were clean and modern. The beds were very comfy , all white with duvets. We ordered room service one night after a long day of sight seeing, and it was very prompt and delicious. The prices for the food weren't bad either. Only 15 dollars for a terrific burger and fries! Santa Monica is a nice casual beach town. Our 8 year old son loved the pier! We had a great visit and would love to go back!

The front desk were really nice and also printed our boarding passes. Room service was good in the morning. The only thing that suck was the parking price. The manager would not let his employee tell us about an alternate place to park for a couple hours or give us a cheaper rate other than 33 dollars.

The rooms were great. Not knowing the parking was going to be at a cost was a little disappointing. Maid service was very slow. Asking for certain amenities for our stay required 2 many different departments to go through. Simple things like more coffee for the coffee maker. Service people at the pool pretty much ignored those with children and this hotel is suppose to be kid friendly.My Kids could not enjoy the step out balcony due to a hotel next door that had a couple who decided to have sex with the curtains wide open 2 days in a row. We called down stairs to report it, All I get was giggling and nothing was done.

Canopy Over Front Entrance Needs A Coat Of Paint, otherwise an outstanding hotel with great location

The lobby, location, front desk, etc are outstanding. The hotel rooms along the back of the hotel - facing the street - are not worth the $. The ones w/ oceanviews are great. Some of the rooms need a little freshehning up.

Hotel staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. Location of hotel was GREAT. View was great.

Parking costs $33.00; but you can park for a couple of quarters on the street below the hotel for 5 hours and overnight. At times, there was no hot water. Why I would stay there again: my wife left her wedding ring in the safe unlocked and we checked out? When we returned, security retrieved the ring and returned it to us. Also, the proximity to the beach and promonade is outstanding.

Only qualm I had was parking and the balcony, but they did have in and out privileges which was awesome. The balcony was more like a ledge. Overall a great experience. Peter in the front was a great guy to work with. Saw the pier from my window.

The hotel was wonderful, beautiful views, courteous hotel staff and restaurant, food wonderful and I will definitely recommond this hotel to all my friends and will come back on my future visits to California.

The room was very nice but I regret that the tub was so narrow. When you pay this kind of money you expect a little bit more in the bathroom area.

They made our stay so special! It was our honeymoon and Dillion & The front desk sent up a tray with crackers and cheese and chocolate covered strawberries along with bottled water and extra's. It was wonderful! Thank-you so much!

all food...restaurant and room service was wsonderful, as was the service.

It wasn't the best weather, so perhaps during better weather in the summer the area might be better, but I wasn't that impressed by the beach or area surrounding the Santa Monica Pier. The hotel was a treat given the discount we got. King bed was really comfy and the TV was really big. The mini-balcony was cute, but you couldn't really do more than just look out. We got a great view of the Pier and the pool. The noise from below wasn't that bad. The bathroom looked modern, but the random soaking tub next to the sink was, well, random. It could only really fit one person. The smaller TV on the swivel fixture was nice, but the reception was horrible. The glass shower stall was a sieve and water easily came out while showering. We didn't eat at the restaurant. I walked through the gym which seemed to have plenty of equipment and the associated locker room had showers, sauna and steamroom, it looked ok. Although to use either facility was an extra $10 fee per day. I passed and ran on the beach in the morning and showered in my room. The valet fee was steep, but on par for the area. I called ahead and my car was ready, no problems there. I could imagine it being a great location in better weather, but I don't think I'd pay full price.

We paid for a 3 star 'box' hotel and ended up with ocean view, beach access and terrific service. From the drinks on the patio by the fire pit at night to the friendly service at breakfast, I was really happy with my stay and look forward to going back.

Great hotel, great location

Was charged for things like internet,parking, snacks, water,etc. Was called at 9 am one morning said they were going to send security to escort us out of our room because they didn't have any record of our reservation, then apologized because their computer wasn't working. Will not go back to their hotel - was never treated like that before.

WE really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Loews hotel in Santa Monica. The staff was wonderful, hotel was very clean and for $10 per day (that was for both by husband and myself) we had access to spin, yoga, and kick boxing classes as well as the gym. The only minor complaint was the hot tub could have been hotter. We were in LA when the weather wasn't great. My 11 year old loved the pool. We were able to walk to the Santa Monica 3rd St. Mall and all the activities on the water front. I would definately stay again.

My 11-year old daughter, 15-year old son and I stayed for three days. It was perfect for all of us. The staff was so nice and helpful with directions, reservations and making us feel welcome. The views of the beach were spectacular. The restaturant was very nice for breakfast and it was convenient to walk to the shops and restaurants in Sta. Monica. Would definitely stay there again.
