sauberes Hotel, nette Servicekräfte, leckeres Frühstück, Poolbereich und Fitness richtig klasse, es fehlt höchstens eine Minibar im Zimmer. Sonst würden wir das Hotel immer wieder buchen

Ich habe schon in vielen hotels uebernachtet von 3 Sterne bis 5 Sterne Hotels, dieses war das beste. Werde nur noch in dieser Hotelkette uebernachten when die moeglichkeit besteht. Die freundlichkeit, der service und zuvorkommenheit war einfach super. I have stayed in many hotels ranking from 3 to 5 stars, this one has been the best one yet. Will only stay in this chain from now on if available. The friendly staff, the service and the comfort was just great.

Das Hotel bietet in allen Punkten hohen Standard. Einzig die Klimanlage im Restaurant ist, nach persönlichen Empfinden, zu kalt eingestellt.

There was no microwave, tea and coffee making, fridge, especially WIFI in rooms and the lobby, the reception kept telling us that there was 10 mins internet access providing for guests. Apart from that it was OK.

This hotel was a great value. The only complaints I would have are that the hotel is a long ways from the loop or anything else a tourist is going to see (about a 45 minute ride on the el) and that there arent many places to eat around here at all. With that said, since it was half or even a third of most other places that are closer to the loop I'd still stay here next trip I take to Chicago. It was a great value.

Pros: Most things are as expected for such a hotel. Service is great, pool is clean, gym is great. There is even a sauna that seemed functional, though I haven't tried it. Cons: You may be surprised that the parking is not free - surprised because it is listed under amenities and it is never mentioned that there is $18 a day fee per car. Also, during reservation, there may be a surprise if you have a small child. The additional price for the 3rd person (e.g. 2 adults and a child) will be displayed only at the end of reservation process. The hotel will charge you additional $50 fee up front for the damages and if you don't make any they will return the money later. This is different from many hotels I've visited - those charge you only if you make damages.

It is a very nice, attractive hotel. The staff was very curtious. My room was clean and well-stocked with shampoo and soap. The restaurant was really great as well; the food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly. They also validate parking, which was fabulous!

At the start of my stay the hotel staff greeted me and my girlfriend with a hello and friendly attitude, but that changed quickly and it became a very disrespectfull tone and deminer. The room had a very comfy bed, but the air conditioner would not turn off dispiste a phone call to the desk with a reply of, "That happens." At check in there was also a charge for standard parking that was never listed on the price of the rooom, and at check out I brought up my issues and concerns, but was meet with, "Well others don't seem to mind." Over all the room was nice, but with the staff and hidden charges and the nickle and dime attitude I wouldn't ever go back.

Everything one would expect from a Sofitel Hotel, though it's currently undergoing a change of ownership from the Sofitel chain to ???, so things could change soon. Hard to imagine it could get better so let's hope for maintaining the status quo. We must've booked on a REALLY dead week because our rate was strangely low - at least half of what I would expect for that area! A pleasant surprise in Chicago! We'll definitely stay there again, though undoubtedly for more money.

For any pilot, the view of the Airplanes coming and going, is breath taking. The closeness to the Convention Center was excellent. Just walk across the walkway and you were there. So simple and didn't have to cross the street or go outside. The people were very nice and they tried to be very helpful about going downtown. In all the stay was great and housekeeping was excellent.

We stayed at the hotel for four days while touring the Chicago area. Should have known when we checked in to move on. Room was paid for in full, Staff wanted $50.00 per night for "incidentals". Parking was supposed to be included, cost additional $72.00 for our stay. Room was like a freezer every day. The only food like items available were through their room service and a 4 cup coffee pitcher was about $10.00. The consceirge was very helpful however this is a BUSINESS hotel. Not for families or couples. Best recommendation, Stay across the street at the Hyatt or better yet, move on. FYI it will take you on average 1/2 to 1hr to get to downtown and 1-1.5hrs. to get to the south side of chicago.

Overall - the hotel was nice. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. The HD TV had plenty of channels, and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was nice, with excellent service - but don't expect to eat breakfast there (way expensive). The workout facilities were well maintained, and even had fruit available. However, the parking was a nightmare. You have to pay $18 a day to park (not included), or $28 if you use valet. You have to get a card if you want to self park, and this is purchased at the desk. The whole gate system for getting in/out of the parking is a disaster. We had problems nearly everytime leaving/coming. Also - the Skyway from the parking structure to the hotel was closed. So even if you parked in covered parking, you still had to walk all the way around the hotel to get inside. Internet was also not provided, instead requiring you to sign up with a T-mobile hotspot account.

Definately got my moneys worth ... parling was reasonable compared to the surrounding properties. The Hotel was first class, excellant service from the employees. The restaurant was pricey but not out of line with other hotels of this caliber. The bed was so comfortable I forgot where I was when I woke up and most amazing of all ... the pool and fitness center were open 24 hours a day!!! Loved it ... will definately stay there again.

This hotel did offer us a non-smoking king bed as stated. But there was no ironing board with which to iron our clothes. No mini-fridge to keep our beverages cold. There was a speaker control in the bathroom to pipe sound from the TV to the bathroom, but it did not work. There was no top sheet on the bed, only a quilt that made me too hot if I covered with it, or too cold if I did not use it. I would classify it as a 2 star hotel with exhorbitant parking rates. It was adjacent to the convention center, and that was its primary merit. I would not stay here again. The meals were so overpriced that we walked over a mile to go to breakfast at Denny's.

We were very pleased with our stay. We had a room with a king bed. It was very spacious and comfortable and would certainly stay again. It has many modern updates including a large flat screen tv which made the stay that much more pleasant.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the CTA Blue line Rosemont station. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the city by train and about 10 to Chicago O’Hare airport (the train is running 24/7). We were staying in Superior King room for 3 nights. The room was really nice and we could even see Chicago skyline from our window. The hotel personnel was welcoming and helpful. Even though breakfast and internet are not included in the price, with the early rate deal that didn’t seem to be a problem! This is great place to stay especially in summer when the hotel rates in the city are sky high.

They are going thru management changes, but I hope the staff stays the same. They were fantastic! They are beyond pet friendly - we got a bag of Mother Hubbard treats (high quality) for our Princess. If I need to stay near O'Hare - this is the place I want to be!

This was my first stay at the Rosemont and I was definitely pleased overall. The room was nice and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was quite a bit roomier than most in a standard room. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. I'd certainly stay there again!

This hotel is very clean and the rooms were very nice. The rooms had very comfortable beds and nice LG LCD TV's. I would stay here again anytime. I travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels and this one far exceeded my expectations! This hotel is within walking distance of the Blue Line transit train which makes it a good choice if you want to go downtown Chicago. The train is only one stop away from O'hare Airport.

This is not just an airport hotel, but a hotel with unique and aesthetically pleasing features: French watercolors in the room and a photo of Colette in the lovely dining room named, appropriately, Colette. The French chef puts out memorable food, and breakfast is a real treat. Since Sofitel no longer owns the hotel, we can only hope that new owners do not change what makes this hotel so attractive and pleasant.

Good for traveling, really close to O'Hare, close enough that being on the deck on roof planes are actually even with you. Not really a hotel to spend a romantic weekend away, but great for a stay close to O'Hare. Parking at $18 a day kinda stings, but the rooms are nice and the beds are comfy

I really enjoyed my stay. They picked us up in their shuttle from the train, and even took us to the nearby McDonald's. The desk staff was very curteous, especially Kassandra. The bar area is very nice also. Very convenient from the "L", metra, and airport.

This was my first time staying overnight in Chicago and I would definately stay at the Rosemont O'Hare again. Not only was the price great, the hotel was very nice, and the staff was very helpful. I called teh front desk on my way in to make sure I was in the correct location and received much more help than I thought I would get. Not only was I given directions into the correct parking structure, I was greeted by the same person with a warm smile and friendly mannerisms. She remembered talking to me and was very helpful answering all of my other questions about the area.

I stayed at what I thought was going to be a quality hotel (which I had stayed at in another city), but I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel had changed ownership and is now the Rosemont. First, I couldn't find the hotel because I wasn't notified that the name had changed. When I called the hotel, I was rudely told where it was located. Then, the front desk attendant had apparently lost her voice (but I'm not psychic) and just blankly stared at me. After saying "hello" twice she pointed to her throat finally. Another customer was having a problem with his iron and another front desk attendant rudely told him: "That's a housekeeping issue." This ALL happened before I even stepped into my room. It was very neat and had a nice flat screen TV, BUT I was shocked to find out that there was no fitted sheet on the mattress! I was told it is "not the policy of the hotel to supply fitted sheets," so I had to ask for an extra sheet for both nights I stayed there. The only good thing is that the train is within walking distance. So if you don't mind RUDE service, a high cost for parking, and no fitted sheets, then this is the hotel for you.

This hotel was well worth the money! The rooms were spacious and clean. I was a little disappointed there wasn't a fridge or vending machines around. The bedding was so comfortable-it was like sleeping on a cloud! The flat screen tv was also very nice. $18.00 for parking was a bit ridiculous but it was nice that we got to park in a parking garage. The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing and we got lost a few times. We didn't know the name of the hotel changed and it took us 20 minutes to finally find it. Being by the airport we were scared it would be nosy but we didn't hear any planes! Very nice hotel and staff.

Couldn't find the hotel because the name had been torn off the building. We later found out that the Sofitel was in the process of "...not being the Sofitel," according to the girl at the desk. Their printer that produces a parking permit for the period of your stay was down, which made the process of leaving and coming back confusing (we had to take a new ticket every time.) Also did not know about the $18 daily parking fee until we got there. Curtains in the room, by design, did not close all the way, which let the bright sun into our room. Sleeping in was nearly impossible after long nights downtown. Lastly, the skywalk that takes you to the hotel from the parking garage absolutely reeked, so hold your breath until you reach the other side!
