Holiday Inn - West Yellowstone - West Yellowstone

I stay in hotel rooms over 100 nights per year. This room was extremely overpriced for the money. The room was old, smelled of mildue, noisy, and to top it off we had no hot water in the mourning. When inquiring at the front desk we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes. I could have gotten better service for half the price.

We stayed at another hotel 2 blocks away 2 nights earlier. It was about $25 cheaper....I would gladly spend the extra money for this hotel.....Everything in West Yellowstone is expensive, but this place exceeded what I had hoped for.

We got a room with 2 queen size beds and it was large. Great for the 4 days we were spending there. 2 out of the 4 mornings had not hot water. The temp was 27 degrees in the morning so a warm shower would have been nice. We brought it up to the hotel and they said sorry. We booked this last minute and paid more than it was worth. Florida and Arizonia were cheaper during spring break.

Hotel staff not the friendliest in the world but service was adequate. Hotel restaurant service was ALWAYS VERY slow. Breakfast was definitely the better meal of the day there. Good location for shopping and quick access to Yellowstone.

fabulous hotel, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff helpful and friendly, pool and hot tub a great added value room was big and clean, beds were comfortable. 1/2 mile to entrance of Yellowstone, lots of places to eat, but nothing high value all restaurants in area are low end but good food

West Yellowstone is a nice town at one of the entrances to the park. This hotel was fairly central, and in our view offered great value for money. Breakfast was an added bonus.

If you travel with a pet avoid this place. They call themselves "pet friendly," but only view pets as a way to make more money. They charge an incredible fee for pets and then won't let you leave them alone in the room - even if in a travel crate - for any length of time. The rooms are no bigger than cut-rate motels and the facilities aren't that great. The tiny indoor pool had bubbles floating on the surface... who knows what that means... the sauna was out of order, and half the vending machines were broken. The only thing this place has going for it is its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and they milk it for all it's worth. Look elsewhere.

I'd for sure stay in this hotel again. The staff was great, beds were comfortable and the room was large enough to support 2 adults and 3 children.

probably the most reasonable choice of hotel in west yellowstone area

This was a great hotel located right outside the west park entrance to Yellowstone and was central to everything in West Yellowstone. We wanted to stay in the park but the prices were too expensive. Three nights at the Holiday Inn was the same as one night in a Yellowstone lodge. The hotel provides all the amenities you would need - wireless internet, fridge, microwave, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel.

the hotel itself was clean and they made sure the snow was removed - which as we all know there is TONS of snow in West Yellowstone
