The Hotel staff were beyond friendly and provided such wonderful service from the Valet attendents to the Front Desk staff....awesome people. The room was very clean, the view was AWESOME and all other amenities were exceptional.

Ths was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in

air conditioning wasnt cold enough for us and we were unable to put our water in the mini bar. Otherwise, everything else was great! The bed was VERY comfortable and the location was excellent.

Even though we came in on Saturday thinking that would be a good time, the hotel was packed and we were still able to register in a friendly and timly manner. Plus the room and service was great!

Hotel was great, but I did not like the 55 dollars a night for parking.

After staying at few blah (supposedly 3-4 star) hotels earlier on the trip, this place was a breath of fresh air. Outstanding. Exactly what you hope for as a business traveler. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff and a great location (near the Moscone, Market street shopping and Bart) Quality through and through.

- Bathroom lock doesn't work. - Valet park was way overprice.

Location was excellent, service was terrific... parking EXPENSIVE!

The hotel staff was wonderful. We had a problem when fruit flies got into our room (which was totally my fault since I opened the window in our room) and they conveniently re-located us to another room immediately with no fuss. Location is the best perk though. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, and all the major shopping stores. The train station was around the corner which made it really easy for us to get to and from the aiport.

We got a nice price on a high-end hotel, better than we're used to staying in! It was fun for the kids, too - they loved the pool and hot tub and the elevators. Convenient location, could walk to all transportation, plenty of shopping and eating options. Our family was very happy with our 3-day stay there.

Dirty windows Very expensive parking, $55 per night

Nice location. Within walking distance to Union Square, the cable car and MUNI lines. Close to lots of restaurants, shops, and even a few Walgreens in case you forget medicines or other things. Great hotel.

Traveling on business; great room for the price and great location.

Loved the view and atmosphere in the 39th floor lounge.

This hotel is a bit old fashioned but clean, and very close to Market Street.

The hotel was clean but was so crowded with large groups it was very difficult to speak to the Concierge or the front desk. It was too noisy and crowded.

VERY SELFISH neighbors... extremely loud and disturbing!!! Pipes in the shower overly LOUD so neighbor who showered at 6 AM takes no consideration of neighbors. They could have lowered the flow a little to allow for the air in the pipes to be reconciled. I should have pounded on the walls but then I am not self-centered.

My husband and I took a vaction, and were meeting friends up in San Francisco. I found a good price on this hotel, so I booked it. The location was ok, the view was good, but the front desk people were rude to my husband and I. Although we are covered in tattoos, I felt discriminated against. When we checked out, the front desk didn't aknowledge us with a greeting or anything. He didnt ask about our stay, or ask if we needed help with our bags. I was very mad and left with that as the last thought of our vacation. I will NEVER stay here again.

For San Francisco, I think this is a good price for a great facility. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice room. I did like the fact that the room internet charges are noon to noon, which is practical and fair, even if the internet charges are a tweak high.

The first room they gave me had a real loud noise (raddle) in the ceiling and at first I unpacked and went out for the day and came back that night thinking I could fall asleep and it got louder, so I called the front desk and they moved us that room was very nice and quite. We enjoyed the rest of the time

Central location. Valet expensive and slow. First room given was smelly, but they changed immediately upon request. Ok, not really sure it was worth the money. Prefer some of the Boutique hotels nearby in Union Square better.

The bed linens did not seem to be changed upon arriving in the room. The pillows cases seemed to smell like someone had used them and didn't smell fresh. The linens looked clean but didn't smell clean and had a very slight smell of someone’s odor.

The excellent service is what I will most remember about my stay. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I am next in SF.

We stayed at the Marriott SF this past weekend. We picked it for a couple reasons, it was close to AT&T Park (we were attending a concert) and the price we got from hotels.com was very good. The hotel is centrally located for all city attractions. The staff was very helpful, when we arrived, the line was very long to check in, as I prepared to wait, the bell desk attendent asked if we needed to check in and that he could help us. So instead of waiting for 30 minutes, we were able to check right in. It was a great help!

Our entire experience with the hotel was great, but getting there was a bit of a headache! The hotel is in the middle of the fashion district which is wonderful if you ask me, but the traffic was INSANE! I felt like I was in NYC between the buses and foot traffic it took us 15 min. to go 4 blocks! I would reccommend getting there before 1 or after about 4.

I was very disappointed at the Customer Service upon entering the hotel. The valet service was horrible, There was a line of cars waiting to check into the hotel. From the street to the valet area, it took me 30 minutes waiting in line to get from the street to the valet area. As I pulled my car into the valet area, I was forced to wait in my car for literally 25 minutes for a valet to take my key, ( was staring at the valets scramble and not move the cars out of the way. A total of 55 minutes waiting in the car is just not reasonable. I understand that there were a lot of people checking in that weekend but I'm very dissatisfied with the ability to be efficient. Aside from the poor and ineficient Valet service, I was satisfied with the hotel room and its comfort.

The motel itself was beautiful and in a great location for a concert we were attending. But my husband drove around for almost 2 hours trying to find a parking spot, and ended up parking several blocks away for a hefty fee.

Not only was the hotel extremely welcoming and the staff was very attentive, but the rooms were very comfy, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. I can't say I would be willing to pay the price the hotel asks for, but it was beyond a great deal at the hotels.com price.

Lavish suites and great bar scene. Really van not ask for more.

This hotel is worth every penny. The service is excellent, the location is perfect and central to everything downtown and the lounge on the 39th floor with the amazing view is fantastic. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

We liked our room, the staff was courteous and our visit was perfectly fine, until our last night. The hotel was hosting a large conference, and for some unfathomable reason, scheduled an incredibly loud meeting with singing and applause for attendees of this conference from midnight until after 3 a.m. (that's right 3 a.m.!)in the echoing atrium right below our room (disturbing dozens and dozens of sleeping guests in that section of the hotel). There were conference rooms available on floors below, away from all the guest rooms, but the staff didn't see fit to move the meeting, so we were all kept awake for hours! Adding insult to injury, my husband and many others complained repeatedly, and the hotel staff kept making excuses-it will only go to 1 a.m., we'll cut off their microphones at 2 a.m., but this never happened. The hotel did give us a partial refund, but even so it is unbelievable that this was allowed to happen and was handled so incompetently. I still am shocked that once people brought it to the attention of the management, it was allowed to continue for three hours!!! We will never stay in the San Francisco Marriott again!
