Hotel Jules - Paris

This hotel has been beautifully decorated in a modern contemporary style, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our room was small but fine for our three night stay. Although the hotel is on a main road we found the traffic died down at night and wasn't a problem. It was handy to be just a 15 minute walk from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord and there was a metro station a few metres from the hotel which meant we could get to all the major tourist spots quite quickly. The hotel staff were helpful and spoke good English; they were happy to look after our bags when we arrived early and on the day we checked out. The buffet breakfast was good but the dining room was very busy at times and we had to wait for a table on one morning. A perfect hotel for a short break in Paris, I would stay there again.

When we arrived i wasn't expecting it to be such a nice hotel, our room looked like it need a lick of paint as the walls were scratched slightly in places but other than than it was lovely. Service was as would you expect, helpful & the location is really good, easy to travel to main attractions & within in walking distance from sacre couer & gare du nord. shame about the menu on room service always eat out plenty of places near by.

Why pay more when you can go to a boutique hotel - this hotel has it all but on a smaller scale

The Hotel clearly has the potential to be very very nice. Unfortunately during our stay the Hotel (Nov'08) was halfway through a refurbishment. The reception seems almost complete, but the adjacent Bar/Lounge is still undergoing significant refurb. The Restaurant again was being painted and we had the feeling that we were there 3 months too soon. Clearly with it's location just away from the centre of the City but within walking distance of say the Opera House, it has a lot to offer and will be very nice when complete, but I feel we should have been advised about the state of the Hotel at the time of booking - will however use again. Great Restaurant Bar 'Generale' opposite - highly recommended and unlike most other Restaurants reasonably priced.

I was delighted with the Jules hotel; it's modern, clean, centrally located and the decor is simple, fresh and up to date. The room was very small (to the point of it being somewhat difficult to manoever around the bed when there was two people in the room), but I felt this mattered very little as we didn't spend much time in the room. All the things that did matter - cleanliness, service, facilities etc, were excellent and I'd say the hotel is top end of 3 stars. I will definately use it again when I go back.

Even though the lobby was under renovation, everything else was just prefect. Location was the best about this hotel, it was close to every single client of ours. Also to the sight scene spots.

Ten min walk from Gare du Nord. Lots of eateries in the area. Stayed a week, walked from hotel to all the attractions & didn't use metro once though stations very nearby, Comfy, clean, pretty quiet rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there if in Paris again

Good breakfast, but that was the highlight. Oh, and nice televisions if that's important to you. Location is the best feature.

Hotel proche du métro, chambre très petite (malgré le surclassement), propre, salle de fitness n'en est pas vraiment une (2appareils dans une chambre), wifi hors de prix (21Euros!!!)...mais prix raisonnable pour hotel parisien dans le centre

Fantastisk, otroligt trevlig service! Rummen fina och nyrenoverade. Designade superfräscha badrum. Perfekt frukost med både varma rätter och nybakade croissanter. Perfekt läge nära Gare du Nord och Centrum, I min från metro Cadet. Många urparisiska brasserier i området. Man kan inte bo bättre!!

Σε πολύ καλό σημείο με πρόσβαση σε ολα τα μεσα μετακινησης . Καθαρο ,μοντέρνο αλλα με μικρά δωμάτια. Αρκετά καλό πρωινό . Μας ζήτησαν 4 Ευρώ το άτομο ανα ημερα για city tax ????????

ottima posizione perchè vicinissima alla metro. Stanza pulita ma piccola.Scarsissima dotazione di accessori della toilette. Ottima prima colazione con buona disponibilità del personale. Pessima la reception (nessuno parlava l'italiano e,comunque, poca cortesia)

Il soggiorno è andato benissimo, dall'inizio alla fine. L'hotel ci è piaciuto molto: è pulito, moderno , accogliente e situato in una bella zona; alla reception ci sono persone gentili, disponibili e preparate. L'unica pecca sono le stanze piccole e il letto piccolo ma devo dire che questo non ha influito sul giudizio finale che è ottimo. Ci torneremmo molto volentieri.

Hotel Jules har en väldigt fräsch och snygg stil, färger som går i blått, brunt, cremevitt osv. Fräscht och rent. Personalen var väldigt trevliga mot oss och kom gärna med tips och hjälpte oss gärna visa hur vi skulle hitta i den stora staden. Dom höll på att renovera stora delar av receptionen och när vi kom dit var hissen trasig men detta kompenserade de snabbt och smidigt genom att uppgradera oss till ett superior rum. Mycket uppskattat! Vi var lite oroliga att vi skulle få ett litet badrum med dusch, som vi har det hemma (bor liitet) men det var ett stort fint badrum, skinande rent med badkar och moderna vitvaror i övrigt. Jättefint. Frukost på hotellet åt vi bara en morgon och då fick man åka ner "i källaren" till ett ganska litet rum som inte kändes som något jättemysigt ställe. Dom har en väldigt dyr frukost och den var inte extraordinär på något sätt så vi valde lite mysiga caféer runt om i kvarteret istället. Det som blev största problemet för oss var nog sängarna. Vi hade ett superior dubblerum men det var två små, smala sängar "på hjul" som nog underlättar städning/bäddning men som inte underlättar romantiken. Sängarna gled isär och vi sov verkligen "i varsin säng"...lite trist. Jag skulle ändå verkligen rekommendera det här hotellet just för läget, närheten till kommunikationer osv. Man kan promenera upp till de mysiga kvarteren i Montmarte på fem-tio minuter och det är också nära till den stora, pampiga shoppinggallerian La Fayette.

Très bon hôtel situé juste à côté des grands magasins. Idéal pour shopping. Personnel très serviable et accueil parfait. Les chambres sont très propre et agréables. Juste un petit bémol pour le bruit.

Agréablement surpris et un bon rapport qualité prix pour PARIS

Havde bestilt et superior værelse, idet prisforskellen var minimal på dette og standard værelse. Meget positivt overrasket - stort og rummeligt værelse samt balkon. Eneste minus overhovedet var dyr morgenmad, så det anbefales, at gå over gaden og spise morgenmad til langt under halvdelen af prisen.

Posizione eccellente, ottima accoglienza e camera molto confortevole. Stanno effettuando dei lavori per far diventare l'albergo a 4 stelle ma già così forse equivale ad un 4 stelle italiano. Camera piccolina all'ultimo piano con aria condizionata, TV a schermo piatto, vasca da bagno, frigo bar. Il letto era eccezionale e la posizione dell'albergo è ottima ed è a 50mt dalla metro. Unica pecca se vogliamo essere pignoli è stata l'acqua della vasca che sbalzava continuamente freddo-caldo-freddo-caldo. Voto 10.

Schone kamer. Bed en kamer wel erg klein, maar alles was netjes en schoon. Goede lokatie in de stad en goede service. Niet goedkoop, maar dat is Parijs!

Goede ligging, schoon, netjes. Vriendelijk personeel. Kleine kamer maar voldoende.

Nous avons eu droit à une chambre exigue, mal eclairé. de plus la sale de bain comportait un lavabo de la taille d'un lave main. Je trouve que le prix ne correspond en rien aux prestations.

Hotel refait recemment, bon accueil du staff. Seule critique, la taille reduite des chambres ou il est difficile de travailler sur le bureau vu le manque d'espace.
