The room, especially the bathroom, was "old". Serious renovation is needed. Also, we were disappointed to smell cigarette smoke as soon as we entered the room when the hotel was non-smoking. Housekeeping was going to spray the room to cover the smell which did not really solve the problem. I wish they had given us another room.

When first entering the hotel, I thought that the lobby and restaurant were simply beautiful and would be a great place to hold a conference. However, when checking in, I waiting a couple of minutes before I had to call out, "Hello?" for some assistance. Two gentlemen arrived asking, "Checking in?" rather than a hello or good evening. I found out that a hold of $50 was placed on my credit card for parking when: 1. I didn't agree to it. 2. My reservation said nothing about me having to pay for parking. When I arrived in my room, the carpet was filthy, and the bathroom walls were missing tiles. Rather than paying for parking, I found a spot on the street and asked the front desk representative (whom I had to call for again) to remove the hold on my credit card. While doing so, he demagnetised my card keys and had to return to the desk and call out for him again. Not to mention the ice machine on my floor was out of ice. Rather than a representative checking to see if that were in fact true, she denied that the machine didn't have ice because "every machine on all the floors contain ice." I was glad that I didn't stay at that hotel for a significant amount of time. My stay there was very inconvenient and I didn't feel as welcomed as I had at other hotels in the area.

I spent two nights at the Four Points Hotel in LA. I am very familar with the area, so the location was great. Returning my rent car and getting to the terminal was quick and easy. The hotel building is old and has been remodeled but still could use some updating in the rooms. Overall the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area is nice (no hot tub). The one problem was the TV was small and the picture was not good. I actually changed rooms to find a better TV but the second room TV was just the same. I found the food in the hotel better than most of the typical hotel food and was reasonably priced. The biggest drawback was the $16 per night self parking charge. The valet charge was $21 per night. Over all I would most likely stay there again as long as the price remains competitive.

This hotel is good price for location,jusr location,because its nearby the airport.In addition to that, they are good for nothing, especially the manager's attitude is simply disgusting. In my last day of travel is to set this hotel during a trip to San Francisco I can put my luggage here and also I have to say playing the phone to the hotel front desk, front desk lady told me that I could put luggage free of charge in their customer service there.But When I took my three big and heavy boxes to their hotel, they even deny it, and also out of the manager is very rude, told me that they had never promised that I could put this matter box .They not only speak the words of the attitude of doing things annoyed me, even more angry is the attitude of their manager's words, you may see I was young, but also come from abroad, and only a person's reasons, he was among the speech reveals is the indifference of the expression.Finally, he said something, you can cancel!? His face really very very disgusting. So, I think this hotel is the only location worth the price. He gave me a tour of California cast a shadow of unpleasant. Than the price of many hotels surrounding which are more cheaper and better, I do not recommend this one.

I chose this hotel ultimately due to its proximity to LAX and reasonable cost. However, I was expecting a clean, non-musty room (although hall was somewhat similar in odor). Because it is - or appears to be - an old hotel, I don't know if they could have done anything about the ventilation. They did come up right away to check that nothing was broken. Fortunately I travel with my own sheets for this very situation - everything had a musty smell. The carpet was also very dirty, so I was not comfortable walking around without shoes.

I stayed here for one night when in LA on business. Perfect hotel for what I was looking for: A nice clean affordable hotel with a decent restaurant/bar, a gym, internet access, and a quiet room to work in. The exterior could use some updating and is deceiving at first. The lobby and bar/restaurant are very nice and give the feel of a much more expensive hotel. The rooms are standard. Nice enough, clean enough...nothing special nothing bad. Had a bed, a desk, a bathroom, and a closet. It worked well. $16 for parking was irritating, but this is LA I guess. I will stay here again for sure. Great value, pretty good hotel.

very nice hotel people are friendly service is good and the location is great the only bad thing about this hotel is the price they charge for parking I THINK PARKING SHOULD NOT BE AND EXTRA CHARGE IT SHOULD BE INCLUDED AND IF THEY CHARGE FOR PARKING THEY MUST LET YOU KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK ANY DAYS WITH THEM

The hotel is nice, clean and the service is great. However, there is no free breakfast. In restaurant in the lobby serves breakfast much more expensive than Denny's. You may face some small problems like stuck drain in the bath-tub, which is horrible experience. In the same time the front desk representative are polite and ready to help.

Location: fair Parking: Expensive $16 while they advertise 12. Behind the main entrance, hidden, no signs and no walkway; we had to walk on the driveway. Lobby: confusing. Floor corridors: ugly looking, and the carpet seems to have been there forever, dirty, stained.

First thing you will encounter is paying $16 for your daily parking. Second thing, you will find is that the carpet at the hallway on each floor needs complete makeover. Also, try to find a room not at the end of the hallway near the exit door. I've counted at least five to six times that people slam the exit door. Just a reminder, this is Four Points, not Sheraton.

The night before I checked out, water leaked from the toilet into the bedroom where my bags were. It got all of my clothes wet. After I checked out, I called and left a message for the assistant general manager and never got a call back.

Everything online, affordable, efficient and thorough. Personnel helpful and friendly, lobby, room nice, hallways in throes of carpet upgrade I imagine. Check in and out seamless and fast. As transitioning from California vacation, stayed ~6hrs waiting to fly out of LAX early. Shuttle service to airport great, LAX at 5AM on weekday was another story.

Not a bad hotel but they should REALLY consider cleaning the carpets. The carpet in the hallways is very dirty & the carpet in my room had a red stain on it. Other than that not too bad.

It was your basic nice hotel room but it was still too expensive, even through 'Hotels.com'. Parking was inconvienent but it's the last stop for the airport shuttle going to LAX.

We checked in at 3pm and hotel was running on emergency power. Check in line was very long as computers were affected. Rooms had no power or A/C. By 6 pm they had moved us to another Sheraton in the neighborhood with no hassles. We were very pleased.

The $18.00 per day valet cost, plus tip ($14.00 for self park) and the basic breakfast buffet for two which costs over $30.00 including tip, make sure you add ~$50.00per day to whatever price they offer, to get the true cost of the room. I've found much better " true cost" deals in the area,with nicer rooms/breakfast included/ and free parking

We very much enjoyed our stay in L.A. with the exception of some exorbitant parking fees. While the hotel fee was not the highest, it was the last bill that I got. Next time I'll look for complementary parking.

I paid the same price for this Sheraton as I did for the Gateway Sheraton; HUGE difference! Gateway is beautiful and Four Points is somewhat rundown.

Eating choices in the neighborhood were the hotel restaurant and a burger king. It was convenient from the airport. The shuttle worked well. We stayed twice on our trip. The second time they put us in a room that was not what we had reserved. When I pointed that out they fixed it immediately and with an apology. There was no complimentary continental breakfast, but they did not say there would be. They had quick breakfast stuff available in the lobby, but I thought it was very expensive.
