Statt gebuchtem King Bett nur Queen verfügbar, pro Tag 3 Dollar für ein Telefon das wir weder wollten noch nutzten, unfreundliches Personal am Empfang, zwei zusammen gebuchte Zimmer lagen am entgegen gesetzten Ende des Hotels

Negative Erfahrung beim Check in: Nur drei Schalter offen, und die auch nicht unbedingt mit Gästen beschäftigt, entprechend lange Wartezeit. Das Zimmer (im Century Tower) war in Ordnung, nicht überragend, aber mit schöner Aussicht und trotzdem einigermaßen leise. Parken kostet nichts, Internet (Kabel oder Wifi) muss man dagegen bezahlen. Ansonsten ist es ein Hotel, in dem der Spaß nur eine Aufzugfahrt weit entfernt ist ... Checkout geht superschnell, kann man nämlivch am Fernseher selbst machen.

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer komfortabel und geräumig!.. Äußerst hässlich ist der Teppichboden im Eingang, aber das ist anscheinend in Las Vegas in fast allen Hotels so! War sehr zufrieden!

Das Hotel war erstaunlich ruhig, obwohl so viele Menschen dort untergebracht sind. Auch die Achterbahn draussen haben wir kaum gehört. Sehr gut fanden wir die Essensmöglichkeiten in der Passage, die wie New York gemacht ist. Schade war, dass die Wasseranlagen nicht in Betrieb waren. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ordentlich und ruhig. Was wir nicht so toll fanden: Am Abreisetag wurden wir 8.30 vom Zimmerservice geweckt.

Hotel liegt zentral zwischen allen wichtigen Hotels, zum Strathosphere Tower sollte man allerdings den Bus nehmen. Sehr guter Service und (für uns Motel und Camping-Touries) edles Zimmer. Der Übernachtungspreis ist (auch ohne Frühstück) sehr günstig. (Achtung: Preis ist von Freitag bis Sonntag um einiges höher, dies gilt allerdings für alle Hotels in Las Vegas)

Hotel ist zu empfehlen, vor allem die Stadt im Hotel. Die Lage ist jedoch nicht zentral genug, um alles zu Fuss locker abzulaufen

Der Service war erwartungsgemäß sehr gut. Das Zimmer (Typ Broadway Deluxe) war nicht mehr ganz frisch, aber Sauber und großgenug für 4 Erwachsene. Die hoteleigene Achterbahn ist ein muß für jeden Fan. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig, man kann den Strip sehr gut zu Fuß erforschen. Nur zum Nordende (Stratosphere und Sahara) ist es ein gutes Stück, da empfiehlt sich die Monorail (Fährt beim MGM ab). Abends sind die Restaurants sehr voll und man muss mit längeren Wartezeiten rechnen. Im Kasinobereich wurde gerade gebaut, es war morgens etwas lauter beim Frühstück.

Everyone was helpful, checking in was easy! Rooms very well maintained but could do with in room coffee making facility, a great holiday hotel!

Excellent value for money hotel

We were given a "newly remodeled room". Not sure when it was remodeled, but certainly was not newly remodeled; carpets were not the cleanest, stains throughout, shower doors were broken and did not work properly. Not thrilled with automatic daily phone charge even though we never used the phone.

We stayed at NY NY for the first time on our trip this year after being dissatisfied with the service at another casino we'd stayed in several years in a row. Since NY NY was a bit more expensive than the previous hotel, we expected the rooms to be a little better and more comfortable. However, that was not the case. The beds were some of the worst hotels beds I've slept in. In fact, we asked the hotel how much it would be to upgrade to a better room to get better beds but since it was labor day weekend, there were none available. Something else we didn't like about the room was that it was really noisy.The roller coaster was right outside our window so we could hear people screaming as they rode the ride at all hours of operation. We also heard sirens all night long all weekend long. We could hear people in the hallway talking when they would walk by. The curtains were also not completely blackout so the room would light up a bit in the morning. On some positive notes, the maids were there everyday like clockwork to clean the rooms. Several times we forgot to take the "Please don't disturb sign off the door" and when we called them to come back, they came right away. We also called for a couple extra pillows and they sent someone up with them immediately. The casino floor was very nice and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed gambling in the casino. The restuarants were nice as well. We would only stay at this hotel again if we paid more money for an upgraded room and only if it was more sound proof. Had the room been more comfortable and quiet, we would have loved staying at the NY NY because it is a very nice casino.

The hotel was very nice, I love New York, so being inside there is so much fun! However, their elevators are really bad, if you get car sick or sea sick easily, you will also get elevator sick!! My room was supposed to be ready by 3, which is check in time, and it wasn't. Finally, by 3:15 when I got mad, they offered to give me another room, so they did. It was okay, but now i'll never know if I got the kind of room i had originally paid for! Very nice hotel, the people are nice, but just had those couple of things I didn't like..

Nice hotel and great location on the strip. My only complaint is they gave me a smoking room and I had to go back to the check-in desk and show them my reservation for a non-smoking room.

We had a great time here. It is well located for the South end of The Strip. Well connected by walkways to Excaliber and MGM. The Casino area is high ceilinged, so is not smokey like others. The bars are great fun, but the only issue we had was that the bars do get busy and often there are queues to get in. The pool is excellent, and make sure you don't miss out on the rollercoaster. Our room was clean and comfortable (we had a Park Avenue Room) We were upgraded to a "View Room" which was nice, but I would not have paid extra money for it, as the view of the strip from here at the moment is of the building site next door. (due to be completed at the end of 2009). At the weekend the bars attracted a lot of college age people, so I would not reccomend it for a quiet, romantic getaway, but for that matter I wouldn't reccomend Vegas for that either!!! If you want a slightly older clientelle (30s - 40s) and nightlife to suit I would suggest the North part of the strip (Paris or Treasure Island) I would definately stay here again.

Hotel charges $3.00 for local calls - whether made or not.This is auto billed to room. At the Pool , which is too small for # of guests, you are only allowed one towel per person- no matter what.Room is nice but not special. Probably would try others at similar price.

Really liked the location. Hotel was good; not as large as some of the other big names, so navigation was really easy. I like the NYC skyline, Statue of Liberty, etc., that gave a little of the Big Apple feel.

Large clean rooms, great food court in New York style. Very good pool for adults and kids.

I stayed here for one night recently in the Broadway view room, and I really liked being on the 24th floor with a view of the strip and the hotel's rollercoaster. The room was pretty standard with beds, a desk, chairs, a closet, and a bathroom. The only exceptional aspect was the 2 full walls of windows, as we were in a corner room, which I enjoyed. Nothing else really special about the room, and we aren't big gamblers, so we really just stayed there for the experience of staying on the strip for a night.

Everything from parking to check in and check out was a breeze! The hotel was clean and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We had our 3 kids along and everyone had a great time!

i'm sure NY NY had some decent rooms but the one we staid at must have been decorated 67 years ago which is shocking considering the hotel is not nearly that old. Otherwise, spacious but nothing exciting. Spent 99% of our time outside the room because the room itself and the tiny tube tv were very depressing.

The hotel was very clean and nice, but my comment is that I feel they could offer at least the internet for free with the room, and also I should not paid $3.00 dollars a day for phone room fee. it should be a fee when you use it not flat rate on everybody, other then that it was great experience.

Need to confirm reservations by phone to prevent that your room has also being booked by another party. At check-in the receptionist notify us that our non-smoking room had been booked already by another party. Tried to substitue our room for another one with smoking. Told us basically there were no other rooms available. After having us wait 20 minutes, we explained the situation of our two asthmatic kids, within seconds she found a room. What a change of service?

Place seems to be party centeral. Way to loud and no action. Just NOISE

Wallet stolen from credenza while sleeping. Privacy violation and money lost. Seemed like there was not deadbolt until I read fine print on door that handle served as deadbolt when rotated clockwise.

A really smart, clean hotel with a lot to do if you don't want to just gamble. You can get a really good deal if you don't go at the weekend.

Clean rooms. Reasonable size. Lots of places to eat in the casino, although for value go to the Escalibur where you can have all you can eat all day for $25. You don't need to stay there for that. Rollercoaster ride goes into the hotel and out on to the roof. Irish bar is good, but most places in the strip are very expensive for beer unless you are gambling big time on the tables and get waited on. Get charged for everything though, esp WiFi in rooms. This was the case with the other hotels stayed in in vegas. Is around $14 for day. Cheaky as is free in most other usa hotels e.g. days inn etc.

While the price for the room was very good, I felt the decor was dated. The telephone did not work and when I reported it, they said they would take care of it immediately, but no one did. I liked the restaurant area, NY street scene and the food was reasonably priced.

nice room for the price. no problem with the room. the room was clean, and average size for the price. we didn't stay in the room very much anyway. however, the public bathrooms within the hotel/casino wasn't very clean and could have been kept up a little better.

We stayed in the NY NY Hotel & loved it! There are a million things to do in the hotel and the accommodations were excellent. We were on the 30th floor & could see all over Vegas. Awesome! Also, my husband is in a wheelchair, and there was plenty of room for him to maneuver around. It was a great price for a super hotel.

First off, this hotel was wonderful! The only downside was that it was located at the end of the strip (meaning we had to walk a ways to get to the other casinos), but I made the reservations knowing this. The staff inside the casino were extremely friendly and courteous and were always trying to lend a hand. The only exception to this was the bellboys who expected tips all the time. They wanted a tip when I left my bags with them and a tip when I picked my bags up. In no way was I a high-roller on this trip! We did have the roller-coaster outside our window but by the time we went to bed you could hardly hear it and no one rode the coaster until later in the day so we weren't woken at the crack of dawn. I would strongly suggest staying here!

The New York, New York Hotel provided a wonderful vacation for my entire family - three kids (17, 15 and 9), my husband and myself. The rooms were spotless, the restaurant and pool amazing, the roller coaster lots of fun, and the arcade kept my little one busy. The management were efficient and dealt with our one little problem expeidiently. We will definately return to New York, New York.
