Hotel sauber Gegend schön und sicher Zimmer sehr schön Würden jederzeit wieder dorthin

Modern eingerichtetes, sehr neues Hotel in sehr guter Lage (direkte Nachbarschaft zu Beverly Hills). Guter Service, sehr sauber, grosses Bad. Einziger Nachteil: etwas Hellhörig. Würden aber sofort wieder dieses Hotel buchen für LA.

Ein Haus der gehobenen Kategorie mit sehr schönem, zeitgemäßen Ambiente. Das Personal ist selbst für US-Verhältnisse äußerst zuvorkommenden und aufmerksam. Der Fahrservice von der Lobby Vorfahrt zum höher gelegenen Hotel-Pool und -Tennisplatz mit dem Cadillac SUV bleibt in Erinnerung. Einzig störend ist für ein Haus dieser Kategorie ist die schlechte Schallisolierung zu den Nachbarzimmern bzw. den höher gelegenen Zimmer. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert. Vor allem wenn man, wie wir, einen super Lastminute Preis erhält.

It's beautiful.

For the price the rooms were nice and very clean. If you stay in the lower building the shared outside patio can be noisy but the upper building is more private and has easy access to gym, pool and spa. Used the spa for a facial and it was great! Had room service every morning,was pricey but fast & delish...actually, all of the food there was great. All Luxe employees were kind and responsive but communication breakdown was a constant...wrong room, wrong lunch order, wrong pick up time by sedan service. That said, I'd definitely stay again but confirm everything TWICE.

The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and with wonderful balconies and porches. The location was close to everything so we didn't have to spend long traveling to and from places (it took 10 minutes to get to the House of Blues and 15 to get to Venice Beach). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in the upper part of the hotel, which surrounds a lovely pool and looks out over hills and trees and up at the Getty Museum in the distance. Returning to the hotel was like coming home to a quiet and lush oasis. The location is super convenient - take Sunset east to Westwood and west to Pacific Palisades with no freeway travel! I will stay here anytime I have to go to LA. I didn't eat at the restaurant but heard from LA friends it's great.

our hotel room was great - very large, patio and good finishings. The only problem was that our room was next to the ballroom/ party room so music was blaring til past midnight most nights (was there for 5 nights). I even asked the hotel for ear plugs and they could only comp me breakfast. This is a huge problem - if booking, you might want to specifically ask for a room in the 2nd complex which is a different building entirely and located up a hill.

For the purpose of our visit the location was excellent. While we had a choice of two hotels directly across the street from one another, we chose this one, even though it was higher priced -- everything about this hotel proved that our choice was the correct one. Service was excellent and with a smile. Everyone extended themselves to make us happy and comfortable. I'd give this Hotel **** withut hesitation.

Not much to say. Everything was perfect and the staff was excellent and friendly!

This was a perfect location and beautiful hotel. I was surprised that I would hear people yelling and knocking on the doors of other rooms very late and very early in the morning. No one ever came out to check! I believe they were guest having parties in the hotel. One night the room next to us played music so loud in their room I could not sleep until they turned it off at about 3:30 am!

The hotel is tucked away and lush. A bit off the beaten path if you want night life, but great for relaxation. We slept like rocks and enjoyed a great meal at the restaurant. Loved the lobster ravioli! The rooms are a bit "dark" but if sleeping is on your list - it's a great place to do that. The staff was superb!

The deal through hotels.com was great, it would NOT have been worth it if I would have had to pay full price...the room service was ridiculously expensive, I paid $25 for 1 scrambled egg white and dry wheat toast and valet is $24 per day, no option to self park! plus they charge a valet tax of $3 additionally and the valets don't drive very cautiously. This is a pet friendly hotel and next door was an unruly chiwuawau that barked incessantly from 6am to 10pm and when I called to complain the front desk said they could not do anything about it. The walls are pretty thin and if on the first floor like I was, someone over you walking sounds like they are coming thru the ceiling. So of you are looking for a night of rest....not the place. Nice that Brentwood was 2 minutes up the street...food/shopping/etc.

Very impressive hotel. Everything was elegant. The chef is outstanding as were the wait staff. We will definitely stay thee again!!

The best thing at this hotel was the room - It was spaciousness, light, and clean. The valet parking service was also really good. Our only complaint is the front desk service. The employees are indifferent and not very helpful. The shower drain in our room was clogged and running extremely slow - By the end of a shower the water would be ankle deep (BTW - the showers heads are great! Fabulous water pressure!). We called the front desk two days in a row to fix it. No one came to fix it. We told the front desk about the problem when we checked out and they barely even gave us an apology. Not the type of service you expect from a four star hotel. Also the hallways are dark and smell a bit musty. The hallway carpets also look worn and dingy. Too bad because this just detracts from the great rooms.

I vistied the Luxe hotel on business and found that the hotel had a firewall set up -- which made working in the hotel perticularly difficult. Customer services is top notch and rooms were clean.

The Luxe Hotel Sunset Blvd. is a lovely hotel, nicer than the near-by Hotel Angeleno. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but the staff is gracious and helpful. Our king room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The location is great for our purpose - right off the 405 and near our son and daughter-in-law in Brentwood. There is no self-parking, and the valet parking is an expensive add-on; we find it annoying to be required to have the valet bring the car around so that we can retrieve a forgotten item from the car. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Luxe Hotel.

I recently stayed at Luxe Hotel Sunset Boulevard. Although the general hotel amenities were good, the parking company used by Luxe Hotel (Quality Parking Service, Inc.) for its required valet service damaged my new car. I immediately brought the damage to the attention of the parking staff, who referred me to their "claims adjuster" (Maarco & Associates). My valid claim was flatly rejected and neither the "adjuster," Quality Parking Service, Inc., nor Hotel Luxe are willing to make good on the claim. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL, especially if you are driving a car.

The desk staff was very attentive and accommodating. The 24hr. room service was great although their menu was limited. The restaurant menu was a bit expensive for the average traveler.

The hotel service was fantastic. The meal in the hotel dining room was the best I have experienced in years. The ease in getting to the hotel was not good. You have a series of three quick turns off the freeway and if you are in the wrong lane you can not get into the hotel as there is only one small entrance. I went past it and then had to turn around in very heavy traffic.

The location alone makes this a great place to stay in L.A. Close to the Sunset Bvd on-ramp to the 405, a few minutes from the Getty, a pleasant drive down Sunset to PCH, and a straight shot via BH & the Sunset Strip to Hollywood. But you are xcused if you don't want to leave the hotel: nice rooms, great indoor/outdoor restaurant, cozy late-night bar, and outstanding friendly staff. Nice pool area - wish we had had time to use it!

Great service, kind of a strange hotel though. We stayed in the main section and it was a steep hike up to the pool area along a driveway (couldn't they make a path or walkway of some kind?). They do have shuttle back and forth, but who wants to put their wet kids in a car for a 2 minute drive? They did a great job updating an old hotel with nice fixtures and amenities overall. We had someone jumping/dancing/doing aerobics all night long in the room above us. The only noise was pounding on the floor, which was enough to keep waking us, but not enough to keep us up. Large room which was great for a family, but they could have easily put queen beds in instead of doubles and it would have been more comfortable.

It may be on Sunset Boluvard but it's next to the Freeway with nothing exciting within walking distance. Valet only parking at 25 dollars/day + tips works out very costly. The pool is via a walk up a steep hill.

Prior to my stay, I had not had the opportunity to stay at a "Luxe" hotel. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding. I arrived at the hotel about an hour and a half early and they were able to check me in. The rooms were excellent and the location was central with easy access to the freeway system.

The wall or doors annexed with the next room was too thin so that we could hear everything they said in the room annexed. During night time, I and my wife hoped our kids to sleep sooner than their night activity.

Outstanding hotel for the money. We stayed at the "upper" building, which I recommend as an oasis from the hustle and bustle of LA. Right next to the lovely pool. You have to be very careful when diving to the hotel on your own, as it is tricky finding the entrance when approaching from the west....if you miss it your will find yourself passing over the 405 freeway and no where to turn around.

The Luxe Hotel provides very comfortable accomodations, as well as great access to the West Los Angeles area. Our room was very quiet and opened unto a beautiful patio with gorgeous skyline view. However the freeway is quite loud for outdoor relaxation. Only valet parking is available at a cost of $28 a day. The front desk staff was very welcoming and courteous.

Excellent choice, great area, very convenient to beach, shopping and UCLA. The room was very spacious with tasteful decor. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the quiet layout of the hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend to other travelers looking for a great respite from the hectic pace of LA.

This gorgeous high-design hotel exceeded all of our expectations. It oozed Hollywood glamour. The price was unbelievably low.
