Ascot Hotel & Spa - Kopenhagen

Ich wartete mehr qualitat von einem Ascot Hotel. besonders! Lärm von 00:00 bis morgen weil sie vor dem Hotel im bahnhof etwas bauen. Die Duschseife wurde nicht nachgefült. Wir sind dort für 3 Tage geblieben und die seife wurde nie nachgefühlt. Es ist nicht sauber. Positive seite, sehr gute Lage! In der nähe von der wichtigisten sehenswürdigkeiten.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Attraktionen zu Fuß erkunden. Trotz der zentralen Lage, liegt es relativ ruhig in einer Nebenstraße. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist groß und vielfältig. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr klein aber sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Zimmer etwas staubig aber alles andere sehr zu empfehlen

Optimale Lage und gutes Frühstück

Ein City-Hotel, dass man ruhigen Gewissens weiter empfehlen kann. Wir waren vier Tage (drei Nächte) in Kopenhagen um die Stadt zu erkunden. Vom und zum Flughafen haben wir die Metro genutzt, alles andere sind wir abgelaufen - also zentrale Lage (fünf min Fussweg bis zum Rathaus, fünf min zum Tivoli (ist edoch erst ab April geöffnet, zehn min bis zur EInkaufsmeile, dreißig min bis zum Sitz der Königin und fünfundvierzig min bis zur kleinen Meerjungfrau). Der Bahnhof liegt ebenfalls nur fünf Fussminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Das Frühstück ist abwechselungsreich und völlig ausreichend. Unser Zimmer im fünften Stock (Aufzug) war zwar nicht sehr groß (getrennte Betten, Fernseher, Kühlschrank), dafür jedoch relativ leise. Da zentral gelegen fährt alle paar Minuten die Polizei oder Ambulanz am Hotel vorbei. Das Könnte in den unteren Etagen - insbesondere nachts - stören. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, haben Kopenhagen in sehr guter Erinnerung und würden beim nächsten Mal wieder dieses Hotel wählen.

Das Ascot Hotel befindet sich mitten im Zentrum von Kopenhagen, hat balso eine zentrale Lage und ist wirklich sehr schön. Innen ist das Hotel sehr edel und sehr romantisch. Das Zimmer was wir hatten war sehr schön. Viel Platz und sogar eine Küche und Kochmöglichkeit. Alles war sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet in hellen Farben und wirklich sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück bietet große Auswahl und war sehr lecker. Das nächste mal in Kopenhagen ASCOT HOTEL

Gutes und vielfältiges Frühstück! Das Zimmer wie das Bad waren sehr klein und spartanisch ausgestattet. Positiv ist die einigermaßen zentrale Lage. Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich, war aber per Zimmertelefon nicht erreichbar?!. Zu den den Fitnesseinrichtungen und dem Essen kann ich nichts sagen.

erstes Zimmer nur 5x5m, zweites Zimmer größer, aber übler Geruch b.Regen aus d.Bad, Reinigung d.Zimmers mangelhaft, ebenso d.Frühstück.

- in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Stadtzentrum - hoteleigene Parkmöglichkeit ist eine Zumutung

Zentral gelegen - 3min zum Tivoli, 5min zum Bahnhof, 3 min zur S-Bahn, 3min zur Fußgängerzone. also ideal um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden

Die sehr zentrale Lage ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Für ein Hotel in Kopenhagen ist der Preis normal Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist o.k.

Sehr zentrale Lage, trotzdem ruhig. Freundlicher Empfang der Gäste. Zufriedenstellendes Angebot beim Frühstücksbuffet.

Das Hotel liegt nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Rathausplatz, dem Tivoli und dem Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Das Bufet ist reichhaltig und man kann auch tagsüber Kaffee oder Tee kostenlos bekommen. Auf Nachfrage erhält man den kostenlosen Zugangscode für W-LAN, was aber nirgends steht. Innerhalb des Hotels sind scheinbar verschiedene Gebäude verbunden worden, so dass man trotz Aufzug teilweise einige Stufen hat. Mein Zimmer war neu eingerichtet und für 3 Sterne voll in Ordnung.

Das Hotel ist recht zentral gelegen, die Zimmer klein oder mittelgross und mit wenig Komfort. Es handelt sich um ein "typische" Touristenhotel in einer Hauptsstadt. Der Preis ist zu hoch für das Gebotene.

Die zentrale Lage des Hotels ist gut aber das Personal an der Reception nur geschäftig und im Restaurant (Frühstück) unfreundlich und unaufmerksam Das Frühstücksbuffet ist akzeptabel Die Zimmergröße ist ausreichend als Einzel- aber nicht als Doppelzimmer Im Bad starker Schimmelbefall der Fliesenfugen im Nassbereich Die zur Straße gelegenen Zimmer laut wegen ständigem Straßenlärm schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster ist nicht möglich Nur ein Aufzug, so dass wir meistens die Treppe vom dritten Obergeschoss abwärts benutzten statt genervt auf den Aufzug zu warten

Super zentrale Lage,super Frückstücksraum und super Frühstück.Reception sehr gleichgültig und unser Zimmer für den Preis sehr einfach.Einsteigen ins Bett nur übereinander möglich.

Ein sauberes gut gelegenes Hotel im Zentrum von Kopenhagen. Wir kamen fast überall zu Fuß hin. Es gibt auch viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und reichlich.

Gut und günstig Ist ein normales Hotel mit ordentlichem Zimmer und sauberem Bad Direkt in Nähe des Tivoli und Innenstadt

In der Kategorie (3 Sterne) sehr zu empfehlendes Hotel.

Durch die äußerst zentrale Lage ist das Hotel bestens geeignet für eine Stadtbesichtigung. Der Service ist gut und das Personal sehr entgegenkommend. Probleme versuchen sie schnellstens zu lösen. Das Zimmer war groß genug und die Betten waren bequem. Einen hoteleigenen Parkplatz gibt es auch, der allerdings kostenpflichtig ist und für meine Begriffe etwas teuer war. Alles in Allem, für einen Kurzaufenthalt gut geeignet.

Wir waren erst gegen 22 Uhr dort, nach ein paar technischen Problemen konnten wir dann auch unseren Schlüssel in Empfang nehmen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung und ging zum Hof, leider stand dort ein Flaschencontainer der die Nacht durch benutzt wurde. Frühstück sehr üppig und gute Qualität in schöner Atmosphere. Die Rezeption war zwar selten besetzt, ansonsten war es aber schöner Aufenthalt.

I have stayed in a number of 4 star hotels in Copenhagen in the last few months on business and this has to be the worst. Very poor condition, small rooms and ok service.

Great location, rooms in main hotel are dated but comfortable and clean. Room was fairly good size. We got moved to an apartment on the second day as there was a power problem and it was amazing. The apartment was huge and modern, much nicer than the hotel room!

The location is perfect. Very central. The facilities are pretty good - with a small gym and pool onsite. many restaurant options all around the hotel and adjoining streets... An easy 5 minute walk from central station and then a quick ride to Copenhagen Airport

The street noise can be disturbing. Ask for a room that does not open to the street. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the accomodations. Very good location and close to subway and sites..

I was traveling for business and the internet at this hotel IS TERRIBLE. Didnt work on my floor and when I went to use the internet in the lobby, it constantly dropped out and was just a TERRIBLE connection. Also, do not go to this hotel in the summer because there is no air condition and it gets so hot that I couldnt even sleep in the room. Furthermore, the bathroom is crap. No bathtub or individual shower. Its just a shower curtain with a drain on the floor next to the toilet. The location for this hotel is very close to everything but I can't live on location alone.

The hotel lobby is lovely, the breakfast was adequate but not the best we have ever had, and our room was small and extremely HOT. There was no way to cool off except to open the hall door and then the window which was almost too high to reach. Had a two single bed room; beds very narrow. We stayed only one night and had to leave for our flight very early the next morning. Were not able to have breakfast and were not credited for it.

We were very unhappy with the hotel. If you are older and cannot walk stairs you can not stay here as we had to walk up 20 stairs or down 20 stairs to get to a elevator. Also I asked if we could get a hotel with airconditing and was told that ther were none in copenhagen. Later on we found out from other people that there were other hotels for the same money with airconditing in the same area. It turned out that it was very warm when we were there.

Hotel is within walking distance of the central railroad station which is a short and easy ride from the Copenhagen airport. We had been upgraded to an apartment, so lots of room - large livingroom with double bed, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Even though the weather was awful with rain and wind, we were still able to do some sightseeing since the hotel is located a few blocks from the Stroget, Tivoli and the National Museum. Breakfast was wonderful and included which is great because Copenhagen is very expensive. Highly recommended especially if your time in Copenhagen is short and you want to see as much as possible.

Pro's Convenient location. Clean Con's The price was high for a 4th floor room with 1 window and no air conditioningand little ventilation. The room was sparsely decorated, stark white walls, with a small desk and chair. The bathroom was clean and tiled. The lighting was dim and no window. The room had no clock, and the wake-up call I requested was never sent. There wa a room to hold our baggage as we arrived before check-in time, however you had to carry the bags down approxamatly 10-12 steps to get to the storaghe area and then climb the stairs with your baggage upon check-in. And lastly one small elevator that holds 4 persons with no luggage. The elevator is used by customers and staf. We were passed up 3 times while waiting to return to our room, as the staff was moving large racks up and down in the elevator.

The hotel was great. The only bad thing was the issue with luggage. The rooms were very nice and clean, but you have to carry your own luggage to your room. If it is heavy, this could be a problem. There are a lot of stairs. Other than that no complaints at all. Great room for the price.

I only stayed in the Ascot Hotel one night, but it was definitely an enjoyable experience. Very beautiful on the inside, great location near City Hall square where all the tour buses meet. Beautiful room and bathroom, not crowded, and quaint window. No AC but opening the windows helped. My only problem was bringing the luggage to and from the rooms, its very inconvenient. They do have Bell Boys to help, but don't have a luggage cart, so you feel bad watching them carry your stuff up stairs. There are elevators, but you have to go up one floor to access them. Great breakfast buffet, but pretty expensive (approx, $18 US dollars), but all of Copenhagen is very expensive.

GREAT location,and some rooms with nice views. Major poblem is NOISE. Traffic, noise in the hotel, or noise from courtyard/neighbors. Staff was very helpful especially Kristina! Excellent breakfast but high price( Copenhagen is VERY expensive).

The Ascot Hotel is well located relative to most attractions. The entrance to Tivoli Gardens is a two minute walk away. The train station is maybe five minutes walk away. The restaurants associated with the hotel are excellent. The rooms are reasonably large, and very clean. Staff was very accomodating, and fluent in English. We would stay here again.

The room was very small, but all European hotel rooms are. It is a great location...5 minute walk to Tivoli Gardens, the Central Train Station, City Hall and the hop on hop off bus. When I first booked, the ad said free breakfast, but we were told that was not offered thru hotel.com bookings and would be $20 extra per person. The free wi fi was great and we never lost the connection, which enabled us to watch our home cable tv with our slingbox. I would recommend this hotel

I don't know what makes it a three star as opposed to four star hotels, but it was a bit disappointing to find rather clunky bed and open drain smell from the bathroom. Breakfast was great, but extra 75 DKK.

not enough lighting to read, playing the green thing to the hilt. One small closet, no dresser or drawers of any kind. Two people is too many for that room.

The Ascot is located a few blocks from the Central Railway Station, and just two blocks from Tivoli Gardens. It's not the Hilton, but a good value for the money considering very high costs in Copenhagen. According to Hotel.com, the breakfast buffet is included in the price, but it was challenged by the Reception clerk. A copy of the hotel info sheet cleared it up. Another couple had to pay the surcharge, even though they booked with Hotels.com.

A good basic hotel for copenhagen. The location is excellent. Just a few mins walk from the train station, tivoli and stroget (main shopping street). The room is basic, but ok.

Room 425 -Cons- I've been in rooms as small, but never paid as much. Shower was just hanging on the bathroom wall and you pull the shower curtain around so the floor gets soaked. One small pillow about the size of a table napkin. Nothing but a bedspread for cover. No convenient electric outlets. Food on tray was left in the hall outside my room both days I was there. Carpet in room entryway had something on it and should be cleaned. Only window is a door that opens onto fire escape/balcony. Only problem is that loudmouth smokers frequently go onto the fire escape to smoke, laugh and slam the door. No iron in the room. -Pros- Relatively quiet when smokers aren't around. Good flat panel TV. Wireless Internet access. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and well kept. All staff very courteous and informative. Was allowed to leave bags before checkin. Paid for breakfast which was worth every penny. When people say the breakfasts are good, they're not kidding. Very good location. Two good chairs in the room. Bed was comfortable. Hair dryer. -Summary- Room cost too much for what is provided. Would not stay at this hotel again.

Generally good hotel in excellent location. Downside of trip was as follows: 1. We had paid for breakfast when booking; hotel said that was mistake so they charged it to my credit card- no negotiation. 2. We booked a Superior double room. On arrival we were given a small narrow but long room, with 1 single bed in the corner and the other bed in the diagonally opposite corner. They agreed to change room around and put beds together, which was a farce as 1 bed was approximately 50mm above the other. In reality we had 1 single bed and 1 bed similar to the type that motels use if you wish to bring a 3rd person into the room. Apart from the above, the hotel is generally recommended. Very close to Tivoli, S-tog station, restaurants and Stroget

Hotel was clean and welcoming, excellent location for sightseeing.
