Days Inn Vancouver Downtown - Vancouver

We picked this hotel because it was convenient to the Canada Place cruise ship pier. We were going on an Alaska cruise. They had a free shuttle from the hotel to the cruise ship piers. The hotel was well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly & knowledgeable. The rooms were small & didn't have a view, but on the other hand, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well & the shower had great water pressure. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel

The hotel was great everyone there was very friendly, it was very clean, the rooms are a little small, but its to be expected in downtown. The location was perfect walking distance to cafes, bars, food, and the bay. I will definitely go back!

Not too fond of the valet parking as the parking is not directly attached so valet has to retrieve/park your car every time. Also, room is a bit on the small side but expected since it is in the middle of downtown.

We had a great time in this hotel. We were leaving on a cruise ship from Canada Pier, so it was very close to that. There were also many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. At check-in at 11:00 AM, they told us it would be a short wait (not surprising since check-in was posted as 3 PM), so we stopped in the attached Chelsea's bar and had some good lunch. Several coffee shops within a couple of blocks of hotel. Even on weekend there were many places to eat and drink. Very friendly staff who helped us when the room safe was balky at opening. They fixed it immediately.

Room's a/c did not cool down, it stayed around 85 degrees throughout.

We had a one night stay before our Alaskan cruise from Vancouver. Hotel is in a wonderful location just a couple of blocks from Canada Place. Their free shuttle to the port was great with all of our luggage. Hotel is older, and room was quite small, but beds were extremely comfortable. Within just a few blocks from restaurants and many sights to see.

The AC was out in several rooms and the staff was slow to respond. We finally changed rooms after calling a few times to the desk. Overall, the hotel was fine.

but it was well-suited to my needs for my two-day stay, and the close proximity to downtown and waterfront facilities couldn't be beat for the price!! I would recommend this hotel to others.

The first thing I liked about the hotel is that we were allowed to check in early and a room was ready. The rooms do tend to be very small and that is the worst part of the experience. The hotel is located in a very good part of Vancouver next to restaurants, designer stores, english tailors and even an official casa habanos cuban cigar store. The room was very clean and the service was good. The photo of the hotel on this website does not do it justice.

The room was on the small size but comfortable. The staff was helpful and accomidating.

It's not exactly a luxury hotel, but is right downtown where I needed to be, and served my purpose. Accepted my 2am check-in with no problems. Clean, and comfortable enough. For the price, you couldn't do better.

Great room for the money.

Sometime during the 3 days i stayed at the hotel, a good pair of Italian women's pants ($200) disappeared from my room. I didn't catch it until I got home but the hotel denied they were left there. On the convenience side, the elevator is too small and slow. I suppose that is why the rates are relatively low.

We stayed at the Days Inn because of the convenient location to Canada Place. The downtown location was within walking distance to Gastown. Our only complaint was that the room was smaller than we thought, but it was fine for a two night stay.

Compact rooms but good location. Very helpful and friendly staff.

This was a nice suprise. This is rather small hotel in the heritage district. Both the location and the accomodations could not have been better. Vancover is a beautiful city and we could walk all around to the docks and yachts, beautiful ciy areas and restaurants, or even Stanley Park. Our room was oversized, clean, bright, and well furnished. I would definitely recommend it.

Desk clerk, the old guy, was surly. Room was too small. Way to exspensive. Only two blocks from the ship.

I highly recommend the Days Inn in downtown Vancouver. Great room at a great price.
