Hatten ein Zimmer Im Basement Keller des Hotels direkt neben dem Frühstücksraum Einen Wecker brauchten wir nicht da ab sieben h ein türenklappern uns sowieso geweckt hat Das Zimmer war sonst in Ordnung klein alt und sauber Das Frühstück war ideenlos und einfach aber genießbar und man hatte was im Magen Super ist nur die Lage des Hotels nur wenige Schritte vom Hyde Park und des Bahnhofes Paddington entfernt Fazit ein einfaches billiges Hotel direkt in London für Gäste ohne Ansprüche nur zum schlafen

Vorteile des Hotels: Es ist ist super zentral gelegen, binnen 5 Minuten sind 2 U-Bahnstationen zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind in einem ordentlichen Zustand und sauber. Das Personal ist überwiegend freundlich. Nachteile: Das Frühstück ist seeeeeeehr dürftig, nach Möglichkeit solle man drauf verzichten: Es gab Toast, Marelade, eine Sorte Käse, ziemlich fades Müsli, eine Sorte Fruchtsaft, sowie Kaffee und Tee, nix weiter. Die angeboten Sachen waren zudem noch von bescheidener Qualität. Das Hotel liegt am Ecke von zwei nicht ganz wenig befahren Straßen, vor allem morgens ab 6 Uhr ist schon mit ziemlichem Verkehrslärm zu rechnen. Am ersten Tag waren wir im Keller untergebracht, dort war es fast unerträglich heiß und schwül, zudem lag ein ziemlich muffiger Geruch in der Luft, nach einer Reklamation bekamen wir aber für die restlichen Nächte ein Zimmer im Zweiten war soweit ok. DAS GRÖSSE PROBLEM stellten aber die extrem durchgelegenen, badewannenartigen Matratzen dar. diese waren wirklich unter aller Sau. Bei den Bettgestellen fehlten bei manchen Betten ein paar Latten. Fazit: Neue Bettgestelle samt neuen Matrazen und ein ordentliches Frühstück, dann wäre es Preis/Leistungsmäßig ein super Hotel

Sehr günstig zum Bahnhof Paddington gelegen, mit dem Heathrow express vom Flughafen schnell zu erreichen, freundliches Personal, günstige Tarife, einfache Zimmer, man bekommt was man bezahlt (keine 5 Sterne Preise und kein 5 Sterne Komfort)

Das Hotel ist sehr einfach, aber sauber. Es liegt sehr zentral und ist daher für Leute, die nur zum Schlafen in das Hotel kommen zu empfehlen. Für London ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Dreibettzimmer Nr. 26 Positiv: Nähe zu U-Bahn und Sehenswürdigkeiten, freundliche Menschen an der Reception, Leintuch und Handtücher sauber, tägl. Betten gemacht u. Handtücher erneuert, keine Tiere od. Schimmel gesichtet Negativ: Straßenlärm durch Zwangsbelüftung und einfaches Schiebefenster im Zimmer, durch verschlossene Verbindungstür sogar Papierzerknüllen, Aus-Einpackgeräusche ... der Nachbarn hörbar, Betten aus dünnen Blechrahmen- eingeknickt und schon mal prov. repariert - Liegefläche schief, quietschend - unangenehmes Liegegefühl, Überdecke Gebrauchsspuren und muffig, unterm Bett diverse Naschsachen der Vorbewohner, nur eine Steckdose funktionierte - allerdings ließ sich der Stecker nicht herausziehen - somit der Föhn nicht anstecken - nasse Haare, Warmwasser wurde nach 7 Min. zu Heißwasser und ließ sich nicht mehr regulieren, Spiegelleuchte defekt, in den Fugen der Wandfließen bereits rötliche Schmutzverfärbungen (abgestorbene Bakterien) Frühstück nur Toast,Butter,Käse,Jam,Müsli,Tee,Kaffee,Milch.Fleisch,Wurst...nach Extrabestellung u.Verrechnung

1. Dusche war nur ein Wasserstrahl von ca. 1 cmØ und kaltes Wasser 2. Die Tagesdecke war fleckig 3. Der Fernseher hatte nur ein Programm, ohne Ton 4. Unser Zimmer befand sich Wand an Wand, direkt neben dem Fahrstuhl - Antrieb, 4. Etage; Geräusche die ganze Nacht 5. Ansonsten war das Zimmer sauber, und Hotel Lage günstig gelegen

Das Hotel ist nahe des Hydepark gelegen. Von der U Bahn Station nur vier Minuten entfernt. Die Zimmer sind ok, allerdings ging der Lift nur bis in den Vierten Stock und mein Zimmer war im Fünften das Bad war neu und schön. Die Betten allerdings sehr unbequem und man hört jeden Ton aus dem Nebenzimmer. Das Frühstück ist einfach, aber für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Im Großen und Ganzen für London wohl Durchschnittlich.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Das Fruehstueck ist eine Katastrophe. Die Zimmer sehr klein und die Bettwaesche war leider verdreckt. Dies aenderte sich auch nicht sehr nach einer Reklamation.

Wenig Komfort, schlechte Matratze, relativ laut aber sauber und nettes Personal

Entspricht dem 2Sterne Standart und wer nichts aufregendes erwartet, der wird sich auch wohl fühlen

Room clean, newish comfortable beds, plenty of hot water,functional en-suite, friendly staff. Breakfast extremely basic, juice, coffee, toast which is self service, however just up the street a full english is about £3. For the price and proximity to BR and tube station a very good choice. I was travelling with an 8 yearold for a birthday treat.

Nice small room... It had 2 twin beds which were perfect because all we were there for was to sleep. It had its own bathroom which had been newly re-done and were clean. It felt comfortable and the staff was really nice. They had a complimentary breakfast. If you wanted an English breakfast you had to pay a tiny bit for it, but we were full off the complimentary. There also was a place to leave your luggage if you get there before check in time. It was close to a tube stop and not too far to attractions. It was totally worth the price. I would stay there again.

We were visting London on a budget and therefore we were not expecting a huge 4 poster bed with complimentary drinks! You get what you pay for and therefore there were no real suprises. The location was ideal just off Paddington Station and all we needed was somewhere to sleep and it did the job for us. I must say I would only pay the offer price and not the full price for the room.

I did not stay there, only pay. Terreable place. As soon as I did see the room I went back.

sOME STAFF HAD TROUBLE WITH THE NORTHERN DIALECT

The hotel is in a great location. Very close to both paddington and oxford street, and for he price is probably worth it. However, dont expect warm water and you are lucky if the tv works. I was moved to 3 rooms in a 5 night stay to find a room with both! The staff may speak many languages, but english is not one of them. And any pull on a tap or window will result in it falling off. So dont touch anything.

This is a very conveniently located hotel close to Paddington Station. A typical one of the area, nothing fantastic, but for the money and I don't spend much time in the room, only to sleep - clean sheets, towels, nice hot shower and a bite to eat for breakfast. Staff generally pleasant. Have stayed there 3times now on a break to London - just be realistic and don't expect luxury - if that is what you want, pay hundreds more and stay in Mayfair!

-- Very hot rooms with no air conditioning. This was not mentioned in the information available about this hotel; -- Scalding hot water in both hot and cold taps in both of our rooms. We had to run the tub cold water tap at least 4 minutes to get cool water. The hot water tap could not be shut off in one room, greatly increasing the room discomfort. -- The lift was in poor condition; sometimes it could not be summoned, and it always came to an abrupt, somewhat violent stop when arriving at a floor; -- Some rooms had bath facilities, some not. This was also not mentioned in the published information. -- Some had working televisions, some not; some televisions had no remote; -- Rude desk staff; very unresponsive to our requests for help; -- This is the worst hotel my family has ever stayed in. The hotel is in poor repair and should be removed from Hotel.com's listing.

I've stayed here before so knew what I would be getting. Had a small single room with toilet down the hall. Was clean and comfortable with juice, toast and cereal breakfast. Close to bus, tube and train station. Recommend it for basic accomodation. I'll return.

Mediocre room in a convenient location.

I had a room, where the toilet were outside the room. I had to walk the aile and then walk up about 10 stairs, before I was at the toilet. And I can tell, that isn`t very nice, when you have to get up during the night. The funny thing was, that the bath were in the room. I might have prefered the other way round. - It was a single room, and the furniture was standing very cloth. There was nog room for my little suitcase. And another thing was that the telly wasn`t working, so I could watch the News. So I won`t recomand this hotel to anybody. But the hotel was very close to Paddington St. So it was very easy to get around in London.

Great staff, poor breakfast, uncomfortable bed, cold room

We got to our room on the 5th floor which was actually an attic room and very claustaphobic - the lift did not go to the 5th floor (only 4th) I am therefore presuming that this is staff quarters not meant for guests?? We opened the door to our twin bedroom and there was a double bed in the smallest box room ever with a tiny window to the side. The bed was creaky, the rug by the bed was dirty. There was an adjoining door next to our bed and presumably a bed direct next to the door the other side with a child in - this was not pleasant at 6am in the morning with a hang over - surely the 5th floor of this hotel is not seen by authorities? This was -1* certainly not 3* and the worst Hotel i have ever seen/stayed in.

Arrival ok, when I got to my room it was next to a very noisy lift. I had to walk around to the back stairs of the hotel to go up half a staircase to go to the toilet. Bed was very uncomfortable. TV could only get BBC 1,2 (not very well). There was NO cold water in the room and when I had a shower the shower head fell off!

This hotel is way over priced for what it is, it feels more like a hostel. We had no hot water at all. But it's very close to the tube(subway) so it's easy to get around.

Although i paid for the room 6 months ago, the hotel employee said it wans't credited to my name until check-in. The room was a shoebox. Barely enough room for the bed (which was so old the springs were pushing through the top) and our luggage. After traveling the globe for years, this hotel and all that surrounds it has to be the worst I've ever seen! I wouldn't let my dog sleep there!

Let's get the downside out of the way: While each room has a shower and a sink, the toilets are communal. The rooms are like walk-in closets, but that's been the case in every London hotel I've stayed in. This one's pretty clean, and they are working on renovations - in my room, the bed was old (but very comfortable) and the window must have been 60 years old, but the shower and sink areas were new, and all was clean. This hotel is about three blocks from Paddington Station, which is a major terminal for both the Underground and National Rail, so it's convenient. And it's two blocks from Hyde Park. I like the neighrbohood feel - so much better than staying in the touristy areas. I would like to find a comparably priced place with individual toilets, though.

Terrible hotel. The staff did a fine job, however, the building, the facilities, the room, and the bed were just aweful!!

We enjoyed are stay,,,the rooms were small and beds are more like cots than beds but we slept ok. What we liked about this hotel was the price and location. We had a good time and great breakfast.

Typically older building with with management that cares about "keeping up" with the maintenance. Good location off of the north-middle side of Hyde Park and between Paddington and Lancaster Gate Undergound stations. Small room with upgraded bathroom.

Good size room for London. Wonderful bathroom - all tile, great water pressure. Multiple tube lines within a couple blocks - including paddington station. Felt safe walking around at all hours in the neighborhood.

After several years of traveling abroad, I can truly say this was the worst hotel I've ever experienced in a western country. The unsafe and unsanitary conditions were so unacceptable I was forced to leave and find other accommodation for the night. It's shocking this is listed as a 3 star hotel. It likely should be condemned and at very best would be a 1 star hotel. No matter how good the rate looks for this hotel I would not recommend staying here.

hotel quelconque, avec eau chaude defectueuse , sans aucune pression. accès internet nul, car pas de pc public dispo, ptit dej standard...seul bonne chose l'endroit ou se trouve l'hotel.

Et lidt slidt hotel men rent og pænt, morgenmaden var ok , der er intet at klage over. Opholdet var fint og godt.

Sengemadrassen var efter min mening for hård Brusebadet var lidt for lille, jeg kunne kun lige være derinde Det var ikke nemt at regulere for hvor varmt vandet skulle være i brusebadet Den incl. morgenmad bestod kun af toast og cornflakes Ellers var alt som det skulle være, jeg skulle kun bruge værelset til at sove i

Positivt: Hotellet ligger helt utmerket til metroen, både til central line og circle line, Prince william er ett søtt lite hotell, men denne gangen fikk vi rom i kjelleren og det var ikke bra for min del. Tett luft, og selv med en aircondition og en vifte og baderomsvifta på hjalp det ingenting. Men jeg kommer tilbake, for jeg kunne ikke tenke andre hotell, så jeg håper på ett bedre hotellrom neste gang! Nå har jeg vært der to ganger :-)

Meget lille værelse og med den måske dårligste seng vi har sovet i. Den var 100cm bred ofg dermed ikke særlig stor og så kunne man mærke alle fjedrene. En simpel topmadras ville have hjulpet. Vi fik ekstra tæpper udleveret og så kunne vi ligge uden særlig komfort, Service var ok men ikke mere. Morgenmad var rød, ost, marmelade, havregryn, cornflakes,the og kaffe. Den var ok. Det er sidste gang vi prøver hotellet. Det var ok men ikke pengene værd.

l'hotel est situé très proche des transports en commun. padington est un quartier agréable. la chambre et la salle de bain sont propres. le personnel est sympa. deux choses laissent à désirer : les lits sont des lits de camps, et le petit déjeuner se limite à du café, du pain de mie, du thé et des céréales. hotel dont le confort est limité, à reserver à ceux qui veulent passer la journée dans Londres et non à l'hotel.

Beliggenheten på hotellet var veldig fin, vi tog t-bane til Paddington. Servicen var også grei, ulempen var at vi fikk rom i siste etasje, 5.etg., og det var utrolig tungt å gå opp alle de trappene med bagasjen. Så benytt heis. Det viktigste var at det var rent der, selv om det var litt slitt på rommet, blant annet gulv og overteppe. Ville nok vurdert hotellet igjen.

Godt til storbyferie, hvor man ikke bruger mange timer på hotellet. Seng og morgenmad ikke imponerende, men jævnt okay. Bad i top! Sødt personale og god beliggenhed.

Vi ble henvist til et rom som ikke var tilfredsstillende etter det vi bestilte. Bestillingen sier twin bed, men vi fikk en liten dobbeltseng. Da vi ga beskjed om dette fikk vi et fint rom med 2 senger uten diskusjon, så derfor har vi ingenting å klage på når dette ble ordnet.

Fint hotel til prisen og beliggenheden er rigtig god. Møblerne er lidt gamle, men tingene virker og der bliver gjort rent hver dag. Hotellet er yderst velegnet til en storbyferie, hvor hotellet ikke er så vigtigt. Morgenmaden er lidt kedelig, men der ligger gode spisesteder lige ved siden af.
