Zanhotel Tre Vecchi - Bologna

The hotel is a little 'tired' and could do with a refit. The location right on Via Independenza is perfect for exploring the city.

Very easy to walk to from the train station and only a short walk to the centre of town. Quite a good buffet breakfast. The room was outdated, but was fine for the 1 night we stayed.

Old hotel with good location; easy access to everything except a bit noisy as it is on a busy street. Ventilation of room is not so good. Breakfast room is in the basement with good decor. Quality of food is average.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable. The only let down was the bathroom. The shower was so small it was almost impossible to use. The other fittings were too large for the space and it was unnecessarily cramped. The floor tiles were not in good condition. Otherwise, we would have rated it much more highly.

We booked this hotel for 2 reasons - its location and the fact that it was 4star - you should know what to expect. Location - can't fault it. On the main road that links the station with Piazza Maggiore. 10 mins walk from station, 5 mins from the main Piazza. Its fortunate for us that Bologna is a great city to visit with lots of good restaurants as we did not want to spend time in our room. It was clean and, rarely for Italy, a good size - but very warm and the "king size" bed was 2 twin beds pushed together! The breakfast was poor - stale bread and we were not offered coffee. In fact, staff overall were not very friendly - we felt that we were in the way, rather than paying customers who deserved good service.

THE LOCATION OF HOTEL IS EXCELLENT BESIDE MAIN STREET AND NEAR RAIL AND BUS STATION

An older hotel, but well maintained. The breakfasts were sumptuous. The location can't be beat--three blocks from the city's Centrale, on a small treed park facing a major avenue. Garibaldi stands guard in front.

Nothing extravagant, but a pleasant stay, we enjoyed it, and would stay there again. Nice location as well!

Room was dirty, blood on bath towel.. peeling wallpaper, gross blankets.. not a 4 star hotel. Only redeeming quality was that the location was great. Would not stay there again.

Bra beligenhet i sentrum.God frokost

Svært god beliggenhet. Enkelt å nå fra buss el. togstasjon. Nydelig frokostbuffet. Funksjonelle rom.

Only thing worth about this hotel is it's location. Everything else is not even remotely close to the 4 stars hotel which supposedly it is.

Had a good stay in July 2009. The staff were very friendly and made up for the condition of the room itself (worn down carpets and such). Great location for walking the city centre.

Ikke imponet for å væe et 4 stjernet hotel! Air condition virket ikke på rommene! Tilstanden på hotel dårlig, ødelagte tepper og gardiner.

Bortsett frå den sedvanlege norditalienske arrogansen er dette eit perfekt utgangspunkt for Piazza Maggiore og dei andre "must see"-stadane.

Sentral beliggenhet,hyggelig og renslig

Very nice hotel, situated right in the middle of the main shopping street. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet.

l'albergo è in ottimo centro ma la mia stanza era pessima La doccia non si chiudeva e ho bagnato tutto il bagno scandaloso Anche il phone era da albergo a una stella Temperatura della camera a ventisette gradi e solo alle quatro dl matino si è abbasata mettendo il termostato a dieci gradi Sarà mica un albergo a quattro stelle questo Con l'ascensore che sembra dire barcollo ma non mollo NON TORNERI PIU!!!

Startede med enkeltværelse med udsigt til baggården og det var dårligt - fik et dobbeltværelse til gaden og det var godt

Het hotel is net aanvaardbaar voor een verblijf op zeer korte termijn. Piepkleine kamer en een lift waarvan je je afvraagt wanneer ze stil gaat vallen. Personeel dat duidelijk tegen zijn zin werkt. De ligging van het hotel is het enige écht positieve.

goed hotel,lekker dichtbij centrum, receptie niet allemaal lachebekjes maarwel viendelijk, ontbijt(service)prima, kamer met airco (bologna is heet!), krappe douche, maar verder heel netjes. alleen: hotel heeft geen eigen parkeerplaats, wat de site wel suggereert. parkeren moet in openbarre garage dichtbij ad. 20 euro per dag.
