Die Lage war für eine Stadtbesichtigung perfekt. Haben alles zu Fuß gemacht. 1 min zum Rathaus, 5 min zur Hofburg und 10 min zum Stephansplatz. Das Hotel sieht von außen und innen gut aus. Zimmer sind geflegt und neu eingerichtet. Nur das Auge fürs Detail fehlt (alte hässliche Duschtür, schrecklicher Ventilator). Reichlich freie Parkplätze vor der Tür. In allem war ich sehr glücklich mit der Wahl!

Großes Zimmer. Top Zustand. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Exzellente Lage.

Das Hotel liegt gut um die Innenstadt mit den üblichen Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell, auch zu Fuß, zu erreichen. Ansonsten klassisches Business-Hotel mit gutem Frühstück, Internet-Stationen etc. Ausstattung modern und geflegt.

Hervorragende Lage zur Innenstadt und Anbindung öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, sauberes Zimmer, angenehmens Servicepersonal. Parkplatz leider nur im öffentliches Parkhaus (21 EUR pro Tag). Insgesamt sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Trotz der zentralen Lage stimmt bei diesem Hotel das Preis/leistungsverhältnis nicht. Alles ist sehr dunkel,kaum Tageslicht. Die sogenannten Standartzimmer sind sehr klein-fast als beengt zu bezeichnen. Ein angenehmes Gefühl stellt sich nicht ein. Ein so kleines Badezimmer anzubieten,(mini-mini Dusche und ein WC in die Ecke geklatscht man bekommt Platzangst) ist schon fast frech. Keine Klimaanlage und das Zimmer immer irgendwie stickig. Die sogenannte Bar paßt sich in Größe und Stil den Zimmern an. Frühstück ist OK, alles da, über Qualität läßt sich streiten. Die gekochten Eier waren vom Eigelb immer steinhart, dafür war der Rest aber schön glibberig. Positiv ist: Ein sehr freundliches und nettes Personal sowie saubere Zimmer. Dies ist in der heutigen Zeit einfach viel zu wenig.

Sehre günstig zum Burgtheater gelegen. Innere Stadt auch schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. U-Bahn ganz nahe. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Lage des Hauses ist einmalig. Alles ist fussläufig erreichbar Ein hervorragendes Frühstück und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter machen das Hotel empfehlenswert Die Zimmer sind teilweise klein aber modern eingerichtet und sauber

sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage. Ich würde das nächste Mal sofort wieder hinfahren. Tolles Frühstück, nettes Personal.

Unser Zimmer "Queensize" Bed war sehr klein. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar. Es ist ein wirklich sehr geschmackvolles Hotel mit tollem Service in bester Lage.

Das Hotel hat ein unschlagbares Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wenn man die Lage und die Hotelkategorie bedenkt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sind für diese Hotelkategorie relativ groß. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Außerdem ist das Angebot des Frühstücksbuffets weit über dem eines 4-Sterne Hotels. Jederzeit wieder.

Uns hat das Hotel gut gefallen, besonders seine zentrale und doch ruhihe Lage ist angenehm.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis, gut zu erreichen. Man kann entweder zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn bequem in die Innenstadt. Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet, die Optik ist aber etwas "altbacken".

Das Hotel liegt ideal zwischen Votivkirche und Rathaus. Man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten mit Bus und U-Bahn rasch. Der Service an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Lobenswert die Sauberkeit der Zimmer und Flure und ebenso das exellente Frühstücksbuffet. Es hat an nicht gefehlt. Das preiswürdigste und empfehlenswerteste der fünf Wiener 4 Sterne-Hotels, die wir kennen.

Wer keine übertriebenen Ansprüche an Luxus und Exklusivität stellt, ist mit diesem Hotel bestens zufrieden gestellt. Günstig gelegen am Rathaus (5 Min. zum Burgtheater, 3 min. zur Ring-U-Bahn. Wer allerdings ein Zimmer zum äußeren Ring zugeteilt bekommt, wird wohl bei geschlossenem Fenster oder mit Oropax schlafen müssen. Mein Zimmer ging auf die Seitenstraße und war für Großstadtverhältnisse sehr ruhig. Meiin Zimmer war klein, aber praktisch eingerichtet und gepflegt, ebenso das Bad. I was very satisfied with my stay. Friendly service from the reception desk to room service. Clean modern rooms and a great central and safe location in the city. Will stay here again.

It was in the nineties when I stayed and my room had no air conditioning and a little fan which didn't even rotate. In the morning the sun poured in and it was an oven! I don't even like air conditioning but it was very uncomfortable. The room was okay but lacking any character. The location is excellent. The breakfast was pricey. I would only stay there again in a cool season.

We really enjoyed staying here. Perfect location, very near town hall and subway. Very clean and modern room, spacious in size. Helpful front desk. Recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the U bahn stations and trolley lines. There is a grocery store and quick eateries nearby. The Vienna city hall hosted a film festival in August, it was easy to attend and yet very quiet in the hotel. The only thing lacking was air conditioning in the room.

The hotel was right behind Rathausplatz in Vienna, which is a perfect location in the first district. Hotel was very nice, clean, etc. Given the logistics of my vacation we checked in and out three different times during the week, so we actually had three different rooms. My only complaint was that the quality of the rooms varied significantly from one to the other despite the same price. For example the last night we were on the 6th floor, had air conditioning, and our own private balcony where as the first night we were on the first floor, right on the street (noisy) and no AC. All in all it was great and I would recommend it though. Can't find anything as nice for the money.

This Hotel is great! It is beautiful, as are most in Vienna, it has a great location right by the Rathauspark, easy access to the trams and subway (underground - UBahn). You can get anywhere and just down the street towards the Rathaus you can rent bikes. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and call give you directions and suggestions. I really enjoyed it! The rooms are not too small and the bathrooms are great. Warning: I read from another review before I booked there that they do not have air conditioning, which is true. Our room had two very large windows that open to an inner courtyard and I stayed there in the middle of August. It did get a bit hot in the room, one only one day (which was a pretty hot day) but not too bad. So if you book it during really hot days you may want to consider this.

My daughter and I found the hotel to be very nice. Staff was pleasant and helpful. A little bit of a walking distance from the main area of Vienna but not too bad. The only negative was the breakfast buffet. Although it was very nice, it was over priced and it was not made clear to us that it was not included in the price of the room.

This hotel is well situated, within walking distance to many sites and the metro. There is no air conditioning, except on the top floor,which you don't want to be on because of the slanted roof and skylights, and the rooms got very hot. I would never stay here again in the summer, only in other seasons. The staff is very nice, but we did not sleep well because of the heat and outside noise. One of our rooms had a fan and the other did not, so they are around if you need them.

We loved this hotel. It is an awesome value for the money. It is in a great location that is close to all the attractions.

Reasonably priced, conveniently located next to the ring. Close to subway and the trams. Can walk to any of the attractions in the Innerstadt.

This hotel was in a perfect location - two short blocks from the tram and many of the famous Vienna sights. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The bath was a little small.

I had a great experience in this hotel. the rooms were lovely, they had computers with free internet and a printer, for those that do not bring their own laptops. the reception/consierge staff were great. I decided to book a tour, and they do it for you and charge you the tour staight to your bill, so that is convenient. the only complaint I have is that they do not have a bar or restaurant. You can have an amazing buffet breakfast, but besides that, if you wanted a meal at dinner or lunch time, you had to go to a restaurant outside the hotel, wich some days it was a drag because I had been out all day, and I didn t feel like going out to eat. and the room service menu had like 6 items (i m not kidding), so if you didn t like any of those things, you had to go out to grab a bite. besites this, all was great.

Best breakfast I've had in a hotel. Location is excellent for all Vienna sights, staff and friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and practical. Will definitely stay here again on the next visit.

The hotel was clean and the service was nice. However I cannot imagine how a hotel gets a 4star when it does not have any cooling system. From the 5 floors only the 5th has air-conditioned. I believe the hotel is perfect for the winter season but for the summer it is not definitely a 4star hotel.

Rented a room for two people. Service was on a very high level though maid entered a room once without knocking - probably problem of one person rather than a whole hotel.

Great location on a very quite street. Five minute walk both to the train station and the tram. 10-20 minute walk to a lot of the museums and tourist attractions. Very clean and well kept hotel. Super helpful staff at everything we inquired upon. Great value for the money, and would definitely stay here again.

we liked the hotel - close to the Underground & some good food near by - only issue was breakfast was mentioned at check in but we did not realize it was more cost to us until we had food on our plates

Located within walking distance to all major attractions & multiple transport links, we found this hotel to be perfectly placed for exploring Vienna. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and courteous throughout our stay, and authentic local cuisine was just a few steps away.

The hotel was very nice and clean, in an excellent location. Our room was also very clean. But the room and bathroom were very small with no view.

First thing found in the bathroom was a piece of pubic hair attached to a hospitality comb packet. And then the room's door did not lck unless all electric equipments were turned completely off. Very unnerving for a single traveler.

overall a nice hotel with good location to attractions. bit dodgey house cleaning as i was given a single bed blanket for a double size bed....but maybe just a new cleaner without training. good breakfast. CNN is the only english spaeking channel. free WWW in room.

The hotel is in a good location near the Rathaus (city hall) and the subway. It's easy to walk to the town center (approx 10 minutes). The room was very well sized even by American standards and had high ceilings. Staff was very helpful. My only complaint was that the walls are very thin and you could hear everything going on outside. Compounding the problem was the fact that the staff was slow to respond to a late night party going on next door that made sleep impossible. I did mention the problem the next day however and there were no further problems.

The hotel is located right near the Rathaus on the ring, and about a 5 min walk from the Rathaus subway station. Considering that, it's a great value. Otherwise, the hotel was average. The furniture in our room was arranged oddly -- there was not enough room between the TV stand and the bed to roll out suitcases by, but on the opposite side of that there was a huge amount of empty space. The rooms were a little bland, but comfortable and clean. I'd stay there again, although I'd be tempted to try another hotel if I could find a deal for a similar price and location.

Be careful about the room you get. The first room we were given was on the top floor and had no windows, only two skylights. The room was nice but claustrophobic. We had a difficult time trying to get the hotel to give us another room but after "my wife" kept insisting they finally "found" another room for us. The second room was very good. Keep off the top floor! As for the hotel it was very good overall and centrally located to the theaters/concert halls. Access to the main shopping district is readily reached by tram. With the new room our stay was very enjoyable. How can one not like Vienna.

Although advertised as a 4* I would not rate it as this, it's more like a 3*. However, my fiance and I were looking for a central base for a short break in Vienna to allow us to explore the centre on foot and the location of the Rathaus was great for this. It was close to the underground and trams if required. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh with good variety. Staff were friendly, helpful and multilingual.

friendly and helpful staff, located within easy walking distance of train and town hall - very convenient to Christmas markets and shopping, plenty of restaurants within walking distance - quiet street in a busy area was nice, room was fine not fancy but did have good closets for storage - not cramped.

Enjoyed the location ( inside the ring ) and immediate environs ( park, university ), yet quiet, and a good responsive, busy staff who are well-prepared to deal with business and vacationers and the like at the same time. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected, but doable: besides, we didn't plan to use our vacation staying in a hotel room. It was so easy using the #1 tram around the ring to go almost wherever we desired. We enjoyed the morning brunch (including salmon)

Our 2 nights stay in Sept. 08 was pleasant overall. We arrived ~8:00 AM and were prepared to drop off bags and take off, but room was available, so we could crash for a couple of hours. Room was clean and comfortable, free wireless internet fast. Only one downside was lack of A/C - it was quite hot in Vienna in early September and opened window did not help much not to mention street noise. Location right next to City Hall (Rathause) is very convenient.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The location was excellent, within walking distance of all the sights we wanted to see and close to bus stops. It also had a private bath and air conditioning, which can sometimes be hit or miss in Europe. The front desk help was very friendly and helpful. The only two complaints we have is as Americans, we're used to hotels offering complimentary breakfasts. There's no mention of the cost of the breakfast at this hotel until check-out, which we thought was actually quite high for breakfast. I guess that was our fault for assuming this was a complimentary breakfast like we're used to in the states. Also, they forgot to give us our wake up call, which really gave us a jolt as we had to race out of the hotel to the airport. Otherwise, we were really very pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.

I stayed at the Rathaus Park Hotel for a nice week end in Vienna. I got a very good promotional rate, way lower than the average rates on similar hotels in the center of Vienna. My single room was well organized (it looked kind of small, but with everything fitting perfectly). Every room has free internet connection (not wireless, though, but you can get an ethernet cable from the lobby). The Breakfast buffet was great. The location is very central, just behind the city hall, and there are plenty of nice restaurants in the area. I'd definitely stay there again next time I go to Vienna.
