Sehr schön und gute Lage.

Great Hotel, very central, very comfortable. Drinks very expensive at bar, £27.00 for 4 drinks was a bit excessive. Breakfast also a bit on the expensive side, if scots are meant to be a bit tight I'm surprised the hotel was so busy, ha, ha. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great with the exception we booked a non-smoking room and were stukc on the smoking floor.

The room was a smoking room which should not mean that the cleaning of it is compromised. The carpet was filthy. There was a clear coffee stain next to our bed that hadn't been dealt with. The furniture was dusty and looked unclean. The window didn't open at all, despite it being a smoking room. My overall experience of the staff and the service was very good, however the room was extremely disappointing, considering we paid the same as the rest of our party. There were 7 couples who stayed in total.

we stayed here on our wedding night. on arrival we had been upgraded to a massive suite on the top floor. it had a massive balcony with stunning views over glasgow. the room was well decorated, clean and very modern. we had breakfast delievered to our room. it was lovely and there was lots of it. hotel itself is really nice and always seems to be fairly busy.

Very pleased with every aspect of this hotel. Close to centre, very attractive interior, very swift helpful and knowledgeable check in clerk. Room clean, slightly tired furniture but otherwise everything you need plus tea and cooffee. Terrible view, but hey, it's in Glasgow! Awesome shower! Could strip barnacles off the bottom of ships! No complaints re room at all. Breakfast and bar areas very pleasant. Breakfast above average, but now in the typical buffet style.... Hash browns etc. Love the porridge and haggis. Bar was a tad dear... £7.20 for a pint and a soda water.... Come on lads... For the money, the hotel was great and I would choose it again in a flash.

I've stayed in the Hilton Glasgow several times, it's rated as a 5 star and it's clean with good knowledgeable staff. I did stay recently in the SAS Radison and found them much of a muchness... The Hilton probably shades it with quality of food, but be prepared to pay inflated bar prices which I don't feel are justified, however Glasgow has a wealth of bars and restaurants that you should avoid eating and drinking in the hotel and enjoy yourself in the City anyway - the highlight for me - the Scottish Breakfast best served in the room (approx £40 including delivery charge to the room for 2 people) it's worth it! Easy enough walking distance to Sauchiehall Street and Argyle Street - taxis readily available too - I think Glasgow is one of the most underated Cities in Europe and as a seasoned traveller I really rate it for History, architecture, shopping as well as entertainment.

Have stayed at this hotel several times and the standard is nearly always first class. We stayed on the executive floor which gives access to the exec lounge. D/gowns and slippers provided. Well worth the extra money. Lounge open all day with afternoon tea served 4 till 6 and drinks and canapes 6-8. This was great as a full bar is provided where you help yourself and there was hot and cold canapes along with full cheese board and biscuits. You could have a late lunch and canapes and there would be no need for dinner!! Excellent value and well worth paying a little extra as drinks are very pricey at the bar. Highly recommended.

the room was nice and clean with an imaculate en-suite very homely feel to the room and a lovely brakfast deliverd in the morning.

It’s a Hilton so of a certain standard. But I will not stay here again as the location is terrible. It’s quite centrally located but surrounded by motorways and very quiet streets. The elevators were also very poor, so much so me and other guests were taken up in the service elevator. While this was a welcome gesture it didn’t make up for generally terrible, slow elevator service. Finally, having to queue for at least ten minutes just to get a seat at breakfast wasn’t a good start to the day.

Booked a room to stay at this hotel as a treat for Christmas day, but due to the appauling and harrassing treatment by staff we left within hours of arriving. Even upon departure, we we're treated in a disgraceful manner. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL particularily when it is for a special occasion.....

Very impressed with hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very comfy with all mod cons. Only downside should you have to walk out of the hotel to the city centre the roads around the hotel are very dark. I think the hotel was designed and located for the use of transport. There are good deals to be had when booking through the internet go for these o with the buffet breakfast included it is well worth the money. Apart for the location I would certainly stay at the hotel again.

hotel very central, staff very friendly and helpfull, only downside to this hotel is the overpriced bar and mini bar prices...ensure you take your own drink with you...

Our room was worn, torn wall paper and very tired furniture. We went for breakfast on Sunday at 10.40 am only to have to queue for 15 minutes. This reminded me of Spanish holidays in the 70's when people were worried that the restaurant would run out of food. We were moved 3 times to different tables, the choice of hot food was limited, I asked for some butter at the table and was told where it was and to go and get it myself. I'm glad the breakfast was included in our room rate and that we weren't paying the £18 charge for it otherwise I think I would have stood on the table and screamed.

We specifically requested a non smoking room only to be given a smoking room which the reception staff said was the only room left in the hotel. After complaining and finally getting reception staff to contact the duty manager were we told they had another room for us. After over an hour we were finally taken to our new room. It meant we had to change our whole nights plans and leave friends waiting for us while we tried to sort this farce out. This is the first and will certainly be the last time I stay in the Hilton Glasgow or any other Hilton Hotel. The rooms were dusty, unclean, beds were half made and staff were down right rude.

Within 15 minutes walk of shops and night life. Great leisure facilities.

Excellent hotel. Staff really helpful, room very comfortable and breakfasts excellent. Ideally located to walk to centre and explore the sights. Swimming pool exceeltn unfortunately couldn;t have a massage as beauty treatments weren;t currently available but all else was great! Only problem was information given on this site re it. Check in from 12 but check out at 12 not 3pm. Also it's just off junction 19 not 18 off the M8!

apart from toilet seat comming away from bowl on 2 of the days, (a great comfort to my disabbled wife) broken glass on corridor carpet(saturday)and while checking out, being overcharged for mini bar, and room service whitch i never used, the stay was comfortable

The hotel is modern, clean, well organised and efficient. It is a very sophisticated and you are made to feel very special. The rooms are modern and well layed out. I would choose to use it every time I went to Glasgow

Positive Points: 1) Good-sized clean room. 2) Appropriate and useful furniture. 3) Very comfortable bed. 4) Prompt room service. 5) "Express checkout" very useful. Things which could have been better: 1) Internet costs need to be more realistic. 2) Room-service food could taste better. 3) More TV channels in room. 4) Road leading upto front entrance complicated and not well signposted. (I had to drive around the block three times before I found it!) Overall, a good experience and will go back again.

This is simply the best Hotel I have stayed in. The staff can not do enough for you and nothing is a problem to them from the moment you arrive until you leave! Our stay was my present to my husband for his birthday and he said it was the best present he has ever had. Room spotless, cleaned every day of our stay also clean towels every day. Simply 5 stars all the way from us. Will be back very soon.

It's a tired hotel that needs a bit of modernising. And breakfast at £18 wan't worth it. The worst thing though was the view over 8 lanes of motorway. Surely there are better places to stay in Glasgow than this for the money.

We found this hotel was in a really weird position, but people should not be put off by this. It is only 5 mins walk to the nearest pub (a Weatherspoons with good food) and only 20 mins from the city centre. The interior of the hotel is really plush and immaculately kept. The room we had was really quiet despite its closenes to the motorway. The pool and fitness centre were very good.

As the grades say we had a much plessant stay at the Hilton in Glasgow. The price was nice and the hotel was close to everything, unfortunately also the trafic. And it was busy - non stop trafic on the M8 just outside, also the lifts were busy. We got a room on the 6th floor and with one lift out of order (and only 2 working) we had to wait more than 10 minutes for a lift at peak times such as breakfast and dinner. People working there were fantastic - what a nice crowd!!! If the price is right we will return

The hotel is well situated centrally, and is very comfortable with rooms to a high standard. There is also a Lesiure Club in the basement. Meals were very nice, but bar prices were extremely steep, even for a city hotel - £4 per pint and over £5 for a spirit and mixer!

Very industrial area and not all that easy to find. Served its purpose for us as an overnight stop to another location.

The hotel provided excellent, friendly service. Did not eat in any of the hotel restaurants, so can't comment on food. Location is best suited to driving. It is surrounded by freeways and not conducive to going for walks, although it can be done.

This was a really nice hotel. All the people working there were kind and helpful. The breakfast was made in heaven, we felt like we were queens. The rest of the food was great aswell. Good prices in the bar. Not far from the centre. Very nice poolarea located in the hotel. I recommend this hotel.

Slechte afvoer, geen complementary water en internet. Uitgedroogd beleg, ham en kaas tijdens het ontbijt. afbladderende verf in de badkamer. Voor een Hilton,zeer slecht!

Läget var perfekt med närhet till både centralstationen samt centrum och shopping. Mycket bra service från hotellpersonalen. Frukosten var helt otrolig med en mängd härliga rätter att välja mellan. Rummen var bra utrustade, men standarden kunde vara något bättre dock väldigt prisvärt hotell.
