The Orleans Hotel & Casino - Las Vegas

sehr komfortable große Betten- haben lang nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Große saubere Zimmer in ruhiger Lage dennoch dicht am Strip. In jedem Fall weiterzuempfehlen!

Wir (34,35) sind mit unserem Sohn (4 ) in Vegas gewesen. The Orleans hatte uns wegen der guten Bewertungen und dem tollen Preisleistungverhältnis überzeugt und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Nobel ausgestattete ZImmer mit kostemlosen Upgrade in die höheren Etagen und eine schöne Poolanlage machten die 3 Tage wirklich unvergesslich. Das Einchecken und Auschecken verlief problemlos. Das mit dem Parken ist in ganz Las Vegas meist Valet also mit Parkboy, der das Auto für einen park - gegen Gebühr versteht sich - oder Self Parking im Parkhaus oder hinter dem Haus. Hier waren mehr als genug Plätze und wir fanden immer einen guten Parkplatz. In diesen großen Hotels sind meist lange Wege zu meistern, aber hier war alles übersichtlich und gut ausgeschildert. Mit dem Kleinkind darf man ja, obwohl man durch das Casino muss - wie in allen Hotels in Vegas - um in die Zimmer zu kommen, sich nicht im Casino aufhalten, nur durchgehen darf man, aber nicht stehen bleiben. Einen Shuttle zum Strip gibt es haben wir aber nie benutzt sind immer mit dem Mietwagen gefahren. Den Mietwagen sollte man bei diesen Hotel haben, da es etwas außerhalb liegt.

Wir waren bereits zum vierten male in Las Vegas und haben schon in mehreren Hotels am Strip gewohnt, das Orleans bietet jedoch das bessere Preis Leistungs Verhältnis, sowohl vom Zimmerpreis als auch bei der Auswahl der im Hotel befindlichen Restaurants - zb Fridays, Fuddrucker Subway sind im Hotel zu finden. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Das Hotel bietet allen Luxus eines typischen Las Vegas Hotel/Casinos. Dank seiner off-strip Location allerdings günstiger. Dennoch muss man auf nichts verzichten, inkl. Gratis-Shuttle zum Strip. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Etwas abseits des Strips, aber durch den laufenden kostenlosen Shuttle-Verkehr mit sehr freundl. hilfsbereiten Fahrern ein Geheimtipp für Las Vegas. Abfahrt vor Hotel bis Strip-Mitte. In unserer Zeit (Aug./Sept ) sehr günstige Preise. Im Hotel Frühst.- u. Dinner-Bufett umwerfend günstig (im French-Market-Bufett) und alles was der Magen begehren könnte.

Sehr gute Restaurants, nette Poollandschaft, sehr guter Fitnessbereich, kostenlose Nutzung eines Internetanschlusses

large comfortable room,quiet. Some queues at restaurants. Slight problem with plumbing dealt with very quickly. Shuttle to strip very useful.

Hotel was clean, well managed and welcoming,. Coupled with a great breakfast Buffet. Plus of course all the games you would want. A little too far away from the "Strip" to walk but a $8 taxi did it!

Booked for a non-smoking room but checked in late, around 10:30PM. Was informed that there wasn't any more non-smoking room available at the time of our check-in. We agreed for a one-night stay at the smoking room and the person on the front desk said we can check with them the next day after 12PM for an availabilty of a non-smoking room. Didn't sleep at all throughout the night because the cigarette smoke smell was just terrible, terrible enough that when we moved to a non-smoking room the next day our clothes and belongings all smelled like cigarettes. Very uncomfortable stay because I had allergy attacks while in that room and even after that. The next day after checking in at the service desk with a mean and not very helpful(at all) front desk person, they moved us to a non-smoking room alright...but then again I guess it's designed for handicapped or senior guests because there wasn't any bathtub but instead just a shower with a plastic chair and handle bars all over with a very small sink and I reserved for 4 adults! It was a terrible stay indeed!!! Never going to stay there ever again...

Great Room value, very comfortable and clean. Oversized room with loads of room to move. High speed internet.

My wife and I stay at this hotel most of time we come to vegas. There something for everyone. Movie theater, Arcade, Bowling, clubing,showrooms,lounges and a full food court. 4 restaurants. A huge buffet. Gym, Nice pool area. Only a 1/2 mile away from busy strip. The best thing of all is that the rooms are large.

Slow weekend, plenty of room at the tables. Very convienient off major street in Vegas. Near the freeway and the strip. Views of the strip becasue the hotel is not on the stip. One of the best priced hotels in Vegas. Low priced tables compared to the strip. Breakfast buffet was horrible. Our waitress did a great disappearing act- only in vegas! Cold food. No chocolate milk. Still busy with a long line, because people see the discounted price.

We stayed here for 6 days. The room had a very comfortable king size bed with a sofa, chair, coffee table, and good size bathroom. The shower had good water pressure, but the sink drain sometimes ran slow in the prime morning hours (7-9 am), but ran ok during the rest of the day. Skip the breakfast buffet. My wife and I both found it to be essentially tasteless. We never tried the lunch and supper buffets, or the other restaurants in the hotel, so have no opinion on those. Also, we did not do much gambling, so we cannot really comment on the quality of the casino. My wife got a massage at the hotel spa, and was very pleased with it. Overall, I think this hotel is a great value for the money. It is not a 5 star resort, but it features very clean, comfortable rooms, a spa, and a nice pool area for a very reasonable price.

Had a great time at this hotel. The food was good, the hotel clean, and especially the staff was friendly....a rare find in Las Vegas.

I have stayed here before. They have never let me down. The room was very nice and the price was great.

We stayed at the Orleans this past week and while I had low expectations because of the low price - I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good - room clean - pool area nice - food above average. I would go there again......

From reading other reveiws online, I gather we were in the newer wing. That being said: the beds were extra comfortable, the rooms were extra clean, the shower had the perfect pressure, the staff, including dealers, were extra courteous. We visit Vegas once a year and will never even consider another hotel again!

This hotel was located pretty close to everything (interstate, places to eat, etc). They offer a shuttle every 30 minutes to and from the strip so it's pretty convenient to jump on the shuttle and stay as long as you want walking around. Parking was super easy. Huge parking lot and valet. The bell desk was fast too. I checked my bags a few hours before check-in time and I had to wait less than 5 minutes for my bags to be brought to my room once I got there. The hotel rooms could use a little updating and having a refrigerator would be nice. Other than that it was a pretty pleasant stay. I would stay there again.

I stayed at the Orleans for 5 nights, from September 1 through September 6. Room was clean. There is a wide variety of places to eat. There's gambling, of course. There were only 3 negatives. Hot water was not so hot, only lukewarm for most of my stay. The first 2 nights I stayed there, my cardkeys would not work, after working initially. I learned that you can't stick your cardkeys in the same pocket as your cellphone or credit cards. I didn't know that. They should tell you that at the time of issuance. Third, the complimentary Wi-Fi at the Seattle's Best coffee shop in the lobby was hit and miss. I could connect to the network, but that did not translate into access to the internet. I never did figure out why it would work sometimes and other times not. I should be grateful that I was able to get ANY free internet access. I know most Vegas hotels charge for the privelege.

Great hotel for the money. Has everything you would need. Maybe not on the strip but it's nice to be away from the chaos anyway. Though the area seems and looks "seedy" I always feel safe.

I have stayed at at least 10 or more hotels on the Strip. The Orleans was the second hotel I have ever stayed at off strip and it was by far the best (meaning most fun) stay I have had. My wife and I were able to find so many things to do in and around the hotel that we booked extra nights after our 4th day. We went bowling, swimming, to the movies, the pub (one in the hotel and one right across the street), gambled and drank. All in one convenient location. We were able to drive down the back roads to the bank, gas stations, grocery store and even to the strip hotels for whatever we needed. I will definitely recommend this hotel to other people and will stay there again.

The Orleans is a great value, it is not far off the strip and provides free shuttle transfers to and from the strip. There are a lot of good food choices and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is an older hotel, but has been well maintained.

has great mall quality food court,bowling ,movie theatre and good payouts on slots...

the rooms were clean.people and service was very good. it is a good deal for the money.

Hotel has everything you need - many places to eat, any gaming you could want, movie theater, bowling nice pool and concert venue. Room was clean and roomy - although the decor is getting a bit dated - but who cares. Orleans is a 'locals' casino and they treat their guests right. It's my first choice when visiting Vegas.

This hotel has everything for all ages.

Great place to stay it has everything right there for you to enjoy.

We enjoyed our spacious clean room. Service was good. Pool was great and stays open later into the evening than other Vegas hotels. The Spa facilities and treatment were great. One of the best things about this hotel is the food values in their restaurants and buffet. Very affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there over the weekend and it was my first stay there. Prefer the strip, but I gotta tell ya, I was MORE than satisfied with the room. It was clean, and extremly roomy. I liked the amenities, even though we didn't use the pool. We did go bowling to kill some time before our friends birthday party in Henderson. The staff was friendly. I would have like adjoining rooms however for the convenience of babysitting my grandkids while their parents helped to pay some of the hotels bills by playing downstairs. hahaha. But honestly, the adjoining rooms would be very nice. That is the only improvement I could see. The food was very good. We didnt' eat in the buffet however. Maybe next time.

We got this hotel for cheap and I thought it was a great place to stay. It is fairly close to the strip and they have a free shuttle to get there. We ate at the buffet and the food court. Both were pretty decent. We got a non-smoking room and it was clean and roomy. I just wish they would have had a fridge in the room. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I was very impressed with the size of the room. For the money it was a great room and very roomy. The buffet was great too.

For what we paid (not allowed to say according to Hotels.com) this was a fantastic room. Let's just say it's about what you would expect to pay for a Motel 6. The room was beautifully appointed, spacious and clean. Staying here is much easier than the strip and there's a shuttle to the strip anyway so problem solved. Would definetely recommed at the price we paid although we're not allowed to say what it was!

i stayed at the orleans and i was astonished for the that price especially in las vegas i thought the hotel wouldnt be that comfy but i am please to say the rooms are big and clean the bathroom is clean and the service was great

Our family stayed at The Orleans during our recent vacation. The room was very comfortable and there was something on the hotel premises for every member of the family to enjoy. We were even able to entertain friend right in our hotel room due to the nice layout. The hotel restaurants were reasonably priced, with pretty decent food. The children loved the arcade and pool area. There was also shopping and restaurants within walking distance offsite. We wanted to stay at The Orleans a few extra days but had already promised family in the area that we would visit. Late check out was no problem at all. We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are in town.

BEST HOTEL AWAY FROM THE STRIP! LOVE IT.

This hotel was excellent from the start. Complimentery valet parking, front desk help that was gracious and friendly, beautiful pool and rooms that were large and spacious. I woild be glad to stay here for far more then the rate I was charged. Besides the 2 queen beds, there was room for a desk with hookups, a table and 2 large upholstered side arm chairs. I stayed 2 different nights, each about 1 week apart. ZAs I have a bad leg,both times they were accomadating, and placed us close to the elevators. I was asked if I wanted low or high rooms.Istayed once in a low room and the last time in a high, 19th floor, room. WHAT A VIEW!! A large bath room, with a sliding sound door, and a seperate divided shower & commode room from the sink area.The minimiscule hotel add-on fee is posted up front when you check in. You gotta try it to believe it

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. The buffet was okay and toilet ran but otherwise, it was a great hotel for the price we paid.

A good value for the money. About a mile off the strip but has a shuttle to the strip. Easy parking and a friendly front desk staff. The rooms were clean but are beginning to show a little wear and tear. The buffet, which used to be the best in Vegas, is now average. Not much in the immediate neighborhood.

The room was nice but the plugs in the bathroom did not work, neither did the light above the shower. Do not take the stairs because all the doors on the inside are locked so you will be forced to walk all the way down to the casino. The pool is nice. Lots of things to do inside.
