Sauberkeit: absolut ok, Frühstück: sehr mittelmäßig, Service: sehr freundlich

höchstens fünf min vom Hbf entfernt, ruhig, freundliches Personal, Zimmer sauber, Frühstück gut - für wen der Preis sowie die zentrale Lage ein wesentliches Kriterium ist, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Dafür gibt es keinen Luxus und auch keinen Designer-Preis.

Super Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal. Optimale Lage - ich war erstaunt wie ruhig es im Hotel war trotz der zentralen Lage. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel liegt zentral, nach hinten sind die Zimmer ruhig. Die Zimmer sind in gutem Zustand.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plenty and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will chose this hotel again. I do want to mention that there was a charge for TV viewing (any channel) so bring a laptop and you won't need their TV.

Booked this hotel based on 2 factors it was central and had good reviews. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable enough (order another pillow if you dont like the duvet style pillows). Room had shower bathroom,Cable and pay tv,telephone. Reception were very helpful with information.internet access in foyer, Breakfast was excellent with choice of cereals,fruit,hams,cheese,eggs,coffee,tea,yogurts, etc. reception closed at 12 midnight, but room key lets you open main entrance anyway. restraunts and bars etc very close. Main station (bahnhoff) approx 8 mins walk ) I thought it was great value as it was central and a good price. Main hotel chains were 2-3 times the price. ***** for value and service.

The hotel is vey conveniently located and all the sights and shopping are within walking distance. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. The decor is stuck in the 1980s which is quite charming depending on your point of view however the bedroom is pretty small. In saying that, the bed was comfy, the bathroom worked and the TV was fine. In spite of the location, it was quiet.

About 150-200m from main rail station (Duesseldorf Hbf). Warm, clean and neat; good breakfast. Stayed only one night (itinerary commitments). Shower a bit temperamental.

Great location, near to the main station. A short walk to the Altstadt. Wish i could of stayed longer.

The hotel is very easy to find and close to Central station. The location is unbeatable, 5 minutes walk from Konigsalle shopping strip and not much further from other attractions. This is great because it's a good excuse to walk off your breakfast which was included. The choice for breakfast couldn't be any better. Three types of cereal's to choose from selection of cold meats and cheeses with tomatoes boiled eggs olives and great selection of sliced bread and rolls. Would recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again. Great price and a pleasant surprise and valur for money.

TV was stuck on 1 channel with no adjustment possible, unless you bought the "pay tv services." Heating adjustment was behind a long corner desk/minibar unit so controls could not be used. Room was too warm, so with window open it was o.k., but that let in street noise. Good breakfast. Good location--easy walk to Haptbanhof/central stn.

Hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay. location is excellent---near main station/main shopping area. Facilities are basic, but represent good value for money for someone looking for a bed for the night

The Hotel Mondial was a great value small hotel for my recent visit to attend a trade fair in Cologne/Koeln. Close to the train station and easily walked on the rainy evening of my arrival. The receptionist was warm and friendly at 9.30pm and the room which I had prior requested (a quiet one to the rear of the hotel) was reserved for me. I had no view from my window - but neither did I have any noise from the front street either. Next morning the continental breakfast buffet was ample, even generous, and the quality of meats, cheeses, breads and cereals was excellent. Coffee or tea was available. I was able to spend a day sightseeing at the end of my business stay and I found that the Koenigsallee was very close by with its boulevard cafes, glossy shops and galleries to enjoy. I took the bus tour and even went up the TV tower before enjoying a glass of wine down by the Rhine in the old town area in glorious Autumn sunshine. I would certainly use Hotel Mondial again !

No unnecessary frills, central location, close to railway station, efficient and friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Would happily return.

Skanky, seedy dive of a hotel for an outrageously priced room. This is exactly what I was using your reservation service to avoid! Couldn't tell from the review or the pictures, but the bathroom was tiny and dirty, the towels were torn, scratchy and stained. The shower stall mildewed with pealing paint. The room was tiny, no coffee service, no mini-bar, formica tile floor, futon platform mattress so short my feet hung out the bottom.

very clean and comfortable with easy walking to train station, so that you don't have to carry your bags a long way. Good breakfast. Out front is a trolley stop. Would stay there again if I have the chance.

Ett enkelt men välskött hotell i centrum. Enkel men fräsch frukost. Klart prisvärt.

L' hotel si trova vicino la stazione di Dusseldorf le camere sono piccole ( le singole ) il mini bar c'è ma le bevande sono calde . La pay tv non è inclusa nel prezzo e si paga 11 euro a collegamento . In quella zona ci sono tanti hotels della stessa categoria , io proverò a trovare qualche hotel più confortevole allo stesso prezzo .

Trevlig personal, bra läge, bra frukost och toalett på rummet. Det enda som var negativt var att det inte fanns luftkonditionering på rummet så det blev outhärdligt varmt. Dock fanns en bordsfläkt att tillgå.

Ett enkelt och billigt boende som ligger centralt. Har ingenting att klaga på, förutom att det inte fans någon AC.

Mondial is een prima basishotel op een centrale plek. De Rijntoren, Medienhaven, rondvaartboten, Altstad... Alles te voet bereikbaar. Maar ook goede OV-mogelijkheden voor de deur en het centraal station op 7 minuten lopen. De ligging aan een drukke straat zorgt voor enige geluidsoverlast. Setje oordoppen is handig. Wat betreft inrichting is alles aanwezig; niet luxe, noch nieuw (de bedden zijn niet alles), maar met een lekker ontbijt is het voor een paar dagen prima toeven! Klantvriendelijkheid personeel is prima.

Personale cortese e gentile, disponibili ed educati. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente data la vicinanza alla stazione ferroviaria. Inoltre è circondato da ristoranti internazionbali : Coreano, Cinese, Tailandese, Spagnolo, Italiano ma soprattutto il locale tedesco Schumaker con un gradevolissimo menù e tanta birra di propria produzione.

jeg ble litt forsinket og kom til hotellet førstlitt ute på natten. Der var alt stengt og låst og ingen kontakt å få. På veggen fant jeg etterhvert noen tlf nummer for "notanruf" og ringte tilslutt disse. Etter mye ringing , henvisninger og en god bøtte med kjeft, kom det omsider en mann og låste meg inn. Da hadde jeg ventet en og en halv time utenfor. Etter jeg kom inn var alt i orden. Et helt greit hotell for de som er inne.

Rummet stinker rök, sängarna är låga, minibaren varm, rummet kallt. Inte en gång till!

Hotellet ligger bra sentralt ift togstasjonen. Hotellet virker noe slitt, og man har en del støy om man bor i rommene mot hovedgaten. Frokost består av 60% porsjons pakker med pålegg. Grei betjening med engelsk talende resepsjonist.

Rummets standard var okej för sitt pris, kanske inte den modernaste utrustningen. Ventilationen var lite sämre, men det gick att öppna fönstret så det var inga problem. Frukosten var också helt okej.
