insgesamt sehr angenehm und sauber- frühstück sehr gut

Optimale Lage (öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln am Zoo in alle Richtungen).

Die Personal ist nicht hoeflich. Bei meinem Ankuft war das Zimmer unvorbereitet, und als ich es bekommen habe, war schmuetzig.

Auftreten und Kleidungsordnung der Gäste gewöhnungsbedürftig

Wier waren sehr zu friden.

Lage, um Berlin zu erkunden, ideal. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Service and appearance not up to international standards in 21st Century

ich kenne das haus seit mehr als 25 jahren. damals Spitze, heute immer noch sehr gut, obwohl doch manches in die jahre gekommen ist. Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend und läßt über kleine mängel hinwegsehen. Lage ist perfekt, ich werde wieder kommen.

Das Zimmer war klein und schon recht abgenutzt. Sauberkeit: im Bett und im Bad fanden sich Haare die nicht zu uns gehörten.Der Toilettendeckel war wackelig und im Tücherspender befand sich noch genau einTüchlein.Haben uns nicht Beschwert, da wir nur eine Nacht im Hotel waren. Das Frühstück war Übrigens hervorragend.

gemütliches Zimmer mit LCD-TV, Telefon, Wasserkocher, Minibar; leider nur 1 Stuhl im Zweibettzimmer; Internetzugang per Kabel oder WLAN gebührenpflichtig und überteuert.; reichhaltiges Frühstück

Klimaanlage zu laut bzw. ineffektiv

It was just everything that a Hotel should be, location, bed, service options.

The hotel carpets where stained and did not look clean at all. The hotel is really in need of refurbishment

Convenient location for my first trip to Berlin -- good for S-bahn, train access, sightseeing. The Kaiser Wilhelm church (war memorial) is only a few blocks away. Nice staff.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Berlin Excelsior Hotel, which is conveniently situated close to the Zoo station and K-damm shopping street. The hotel was very clean but our room (a standard double) was slightly on the small side and the decor a bit dated. The tv did not work properly and despite requesting this get fixed 2 or 3 times we were sent a trainee member of staff from reception who pressed a few buttons for us and left. Our main gripe of the stay was the price of the buffet breakfast, however. On checking in we were informed it was 6 euros each so we agreed to take it. It was only on check out, however, that we discovered it was in fact 16 euros per head!!!!! When we queried the charge we were pretty much told to like it or lump it as that was the price. I don't think I would stay here again.

The room was on the small side though well laid out. Service was smart, though I did find it odd to see bathroom accessories such as shampoo were held in reception. The breakfast was excellent and overall I would say good value for money.

very comfortable warm hotel, easy to get to from the airport on the train. number 100 bus will take you right to the centre of berlin, have a full breakfast package, really excellent, staff very helpful and polite, would stay again

This hotel was perfect, the staff were excellent, warn friendly and helpfull, breakfast was fantastic this alone would entice me back, As for location this hotel is perfect mins to zoogarden S-bann and U-bann stations. i will be back again soon.

The hotel was situated within easy walking distance of the Ku'damm, Zoologischer Garten U and S-Bahn station, city buses and a good selection of cafes and restaurants. The hotel reception staff were helpful and we were able to purchase day tickets for use on the transport system. The breakfast was good but was the same every day. Coffee pots were placed on the tables but guests had to help themselves to tea. Bedroom decor looked a little shabby and could do with updating and redecoration but room was very clean. Overall, a good hotel to stay at for a short break.

the hotel is spacious, comfortable with some good facilities. It is is an ideal situation for walking, transport and food. The breakfast at the hotel is well worth the money. Actually I have stayed at the hotel twice and would well go back to stay again. It is like having an old familiar friend abroad. The staff great us this time with recognition fromt he previous visit! That is all I am going to say otherwise you will all be booking and I would not be able to get a room.

Moved here from a terrible place in eastern Berlin. The place to stay in Berlin is near Kufurstendam and Charlottenberg. Public trains two blocks and 2 stops from main station and many restaurants and also good walks through central park tpwards Bradenberg Gate.

very helpful staff, nice hotel,smokefree ! not on your life.We were told majority of hotel rooms are none smoking ,did nt find one. All the upgrade rooms are on the first floor and are all smoking, not a chance of a smokefree room.The breakfast was very good but would not return until more smokefree rooms available.

Very good West Berlin hotel. Nice clean rooms, helpful front desk and you only have to drag your suitcase about 200 metres from the Zoological Gardens S-Bahn/U-bahn station. The only gripe is that the bar staff in the reception bar are possibly the slowest in Europe. If you are not very thirsty a good place to stay as Shonefeld Airport, Main Tourist areas and conference centre (Messe) all on the S9 Ubahn

Rooms were small and tight. Shower was hard to get into because of high bath tub and was hard to adjust temperatue of water. Even for higher expected prices for Berlin, the room was not worth the money charged. Price charge for breakfast was excessive. Only one chair for a two person roon. However, desk staff was very helpful with directions, transportation ideas, etc

The hotel is in the middle of everything, just steps from the Metro. There is an express bus from the airport that stops at the corner. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was good (but nothing special). Their internet connection wasn't working, however, and their breakfast was not included and quite expensive, so we didn't use that.

I chose this hotel because of its location and I wasn't disapointed. There is a train, Uban and bus station just up the road and the hotel itself is very close to a great shopping area. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast (which was included) was fantastic, we also ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was top notch. The room had all the fitting you would expect from a hotel of this class. I would definitely return for another stay.

Very convenient location, pretty good value. The rooms are tiny and the bed is not overly comfortable.

Busy, well-run, traditional hotel popular with Germans; good bkfst, clean, comfortable, great location in walking neighborhood, good restaurants nearby. Friendly English-speaking reception. Rooms compact, pleasant lobby. Solid 3-4 star choice. Popular with groups.

good price for centrally located, quiet, basic hotel.

The air conditioner did not work and it was quite warm the days we were there. We asked for a bulb in a lamp to be replaced and they never did.

excellent location for start touring even though you don't have enough inform of city's sightseeing,you can start right where you are at, very easy to access for every transportation,hotel room maintained very clean and breakfast was so satisfying ( many choices for menu,good quality meal,you should eat as much you can,cause of delicious...)Receptionist showed a very efficient service and were responsible for customer's order.This is not a complain, just for different custom in europe hotel, i think. Bring your own toilette(shampoo,conditioner,tooth-paste...). No doubt,reasonable cost for good hotel !!!

The room was inexpensive, the service was great, and the room was clean. Did not purchase the breakfast because it was 16 Euro a person, but it could be really good. If you are looking for an inexpensive way to do Berlin, I would definately recommend it. The standard room was pretty small, but overall it was great.

Reasonable price for a decent hotel in excellent location that was once a five star but has faded a little since its prime. Inclusive with breakfast deal good value as the meal sets you up for the day. Transport links excellent, trains to airports cheap, easy and quick, buses and U bahn cheap and regular from Zoo station, 2 minutes walk. Nice bars and food on quiet streets out of hotel, turn left and then left again, direction Savigny Platz.

stayed four days over Christmas. Two blocks away from U and S bahn, very close to Christmas Market and shopping centres. A wonderful breakfast buffet, clean and comfy room, friendly staff. would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Modern well kept hotel in great location, proximity to public transport and attractions, small but well appointed room with all amenities, very good restaurant. We were surprised to find such combination for the relatively low price paid. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel, nicelly furnished, pleasant staff, comfortable rooms. However, few things: There is no shampoo in the bathroom or body lotions -take them with you. The breakfast room is very small - so you are forced to share a breakfast table with total strangers Be careful to watch film on TV - they do charge for it without telling you it in advance - also charged me for a film which I started but then the system broken up, so I've seen probably 30s of the film.

This hotel provides descent service. The rooms and common spaces are very nicely done. The staff speaks english; however, is often confused about services. Though it seems like they will charge for breakfast, in the end they do not. The breakfast is very good. The internet is extremely expensive 20 euro per day, or 40 euro for 5 days. There is an easy internet cafe down the block for 1 euro per hour. This hotel is also overrun by tour groups busses come and go daily.

Bra sängar! Mycket hjälpsam personal! I övrigt rätt tråkigt ställe utan extra charm-poäng. Dock nära till all kommunikation. Onödigt högt pris.

Frokost var ikke innkludert .Den kan godt være et alternativ når en bestiller.
