Nettes Hotel, sehr zentral gelegen, wenn man ausgehen möchte, braucht man kein Auto (das Parken ist rund um die Kneipen ist sehr teuer). Mitarbeiter im Hotel waren nett und hilfsbereit. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt.

1. My husband and I stayed here over the weekend on the recommendation of friends who live in Los Angeles. We arrived tired, hungry and generally groggy after a red eye flight. Unable to sleep, despite having been up all night on the flight, we were delighted to discover when we checked in that the hotel offers breakfast in the garden early in the morning. Actually we were delighted to find a garden. Birds, butterflies, flowers, a view of all of the city – it was really quite astonishing that it was there at all. Our French waiter, could not have been more pleasant. The weather was perfect. The setting was beautiful and after a French press coffee and some pastries we were suddenly feeling awake and eager to explore the city. The young lady at the front desk made some excellent suggestions about where to go and what to see. Our room was appointed well enough – but the thing to see was the art that lines each hallway and the lobby. When I inquired about it, the same young lady who pointed us in the right direction for sightseeing explained that the art was from the personal collection of the owner – what a collection to fill an entire hotel! They also have valet parking, which is convenient and helpful after a long day touring the city. It was a bit slow, but when we ended up by the private pool on our second afternoon - we met the “Liaison to Happiness”- who quickly made us forget our wait and tended to us like we were his private guests. We will certainly be back.

I stayed at Le Petite mostly for the location and a good price. The room was spacious and had nice ammenities like a fireplace. But the interior design made dizzy. The staff was great and the rooftop pool, restaurant/bar, garden was very nice.

The room and hotel decor were charming. The service was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

The public areas of this hotel were fabulous, the food at the restaurant for breakfast we delicious. Unfortunately, our room was nice, but had a slight musty odor. That night, in the middle of the night, I found out why - the air conditioner was a wall unit, and was leaking into the room. It then blew out very loudly at 4 am, and the hotel did not do anything about it when notified. Granted, we were only staying one night, but I was disappointed. Other than that, I give the hotel and the staff high marks.

I've stayed here a few times, if you can try to get placed on the 4th floor. It's where the roof top garden and pool area is. This also serves as a pretty out of place hot spot on a warm summer day or evening. The staff are courteous and friendly and there are sometimes free freshly baked cookies at the front desk. The site is a short walk downhill to the gay weho and a short walk uphill to the sunset clubs. It's like your living in an apartment in between the two due to it's unassuming exterior. A nice touch was the fireplace in our room.

Leonard and others at the front desk were great! Very helpful with transportation and luggage.

Charming hotel - excellent location - however, I booked a room with a kitchenette thru hotels.com and paid the highest rate - when I arrived, they'd given that room away and said they couldn't adjust the rate because I'd paid thru hotels.com - still - great hotel - fantastic rooftop setting.

Hotel is in a great location in West Hollywood - easy access to Hollywood, Santa Monica and surrounding areas by car. Hotel could use some updating. Beds seemed to be new, but the rest of the furniture and carpets were in need of some updating. Large rooms with balconies. Parking is valet only so you not only pay the nightly parking fee but tips every time you leave and return - the street parking is not really an option due to restrictions and availability.

Ok. So I am on a road trip this summer and this is the 9th hotel I've stayed in. I thought with this hotel I was spluging with the high prices. The "kitchenette" was one working stove top, one pot and no microwave with a fridge that was so full of their stuff I couldn't put my stuff in there. Then I didn't sleep for 2 nights bc my room was right under the pool which was open until around 12 every night and full of ppl who didn't stay at the hotel but were friends of some guy on the staff smoking weed on the deck. Then the ppl next door partied til 6am. The front desk kept saying they'd send the "guard" but didn't help me. Then the cleaning ppl stole my hair straightner and the guy at the front desk said I should have put it in the safe and didn't offer to help or anything. Then the valet guys broke my car key which is a smart key worth over $300 to replace. No help. Horrible service. Waste of money.

One of the best hotel experiences I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend it.

The hotel decor is a bit funky for my taste, Euro Bohemian, but very well done. No one should miss a trip throught he halls on every floor to look at the art. they have some great pieces. the outdoor breakfast area on the roof (and gardens) is devine. Really good coffee, too!

This hotel is quaint and beautiful. The rooms are decorated with style and in calming, relaxing colors and decor. I love having a fireplace in the room. (Unfortunately we actually used it because the weather was so mild in June!) The location is fantastic - walking distance to shopping, restaurants and clubs. And the roof-top pool and garden are beautiful and relaxing. I would have liked to have seen the wait staff step it up on customer service. We really only saw the front desk staff and they rarely acknowledged us unless we acknowledged them first...often we would see them on their PDAs or chatting amongst themselves. Not so much the case with the doorman/valet. They were much more courteous and aware. Oh, and we did order room service. The menu is limited but "clean" - meaning fresh and they try to use organic, light cooking. For instance I had a tuna salad sandwich that didn't use mayo - sweet! It was small, but came with the most fabu french fries - all shoe-string and crispy with just the right amount of sea salt.

Quiet, comfortable and convenient.

Great location, great value for money and the hotel truly made my 10-day stay in LA all that more memorable. This boutique hotel blends nicely into the mainly residential neighborhood and added to it's low-key charm. The rooftop garden/fireplace/pool was one of the coolest things I've seen in LA, and I've seen lots of cool things! If you're high maintenance, this might not be the place for you, but it worked for me on so many levels.

i found this hotel here on hotels.com and decided to check it out. i was coming to LA for work and the price was comparable to (actually a bit better than) the chain hotels i usually stay at when i travel. this place blew my mind. i think it may be one of the most beautiful hotels i have ever stayed in throughout the world. it reminds me of a french luxury boutique hotel combined with a kind of zen healing center. the staff is kind, helpful and lovely. the food is incredible. the rooftop deck (with one level for a garden and tables, and another level for the pool, surrounded by sun loungers and big beds, along with a fireplace for chilly nights on a side patio) has a view of the hollywood hills and is filled with flowers and candles and little kumquat trees. i recommend this hotel to anyone i know who is going to LA, and i don't think i'll ever stay at another hotel in the area!

I love the style of the hotel. More interesting than the chains for sure and the staff was very helpful. The rooftop deck was great - comfortable, laid back, nice to hang out there and have drinks by the pool. The elevator is a bit slow but they said they will be replacing that. It shows that the proprietors of the hotel put effort into it.

Step back into time and enjoy Hotel Le Petit. This hotel is for the savvy, traveler with a bohemian sensibility. Interior spaces are gracious and charming if a little worn around the edges. The rooftop however is as tantalizing as the website - and the spaces to mingle, dine, or simply relax are artfully designed. I stayed for five nights and felt myself slipping slowly into the arms of Hotel Le Petit. Don;t expect too much of the under staffed kitchen and do have breakfast on the roof! Hotel Petit was a nice comfortable stay in West Hollywood. The rooftop is beautiful and charming. It's a little gem.

The Le Petit is a very nice hotel in a extremely well situated neighborhood. You don't have to use your car to see most of the things around, and that's outstanding in LA. Furthermore outstanding was the complimentary WiFi. Why all other hotels try to charge for this??? The service was ok not great.

The hotel met expectations. Te only dissapointing item (albeit minor) wqas the movies they advertised having on pay per view were not all there. When I called the front desk to inquire they said that the advertised movies were for "Coming Attractions". It was a bit confusing. OFr a 4 star hotel I would have expected to have more than 5 movie choices to choose from. But..the room was comfortable, the poolside breakfast was delicious and I would return.

Location is right next to Beverly Hills.

The rooftop patio with fireplace, saltwater pool, and great lounge areas made this hotel really stand out from others. The rooms were really nice and spacious with balconies as well. Located in a quiet residential location but also within walking distance to dining and nightlife. Would recommend staying here.

This hotel is not only beautiful, thier staff will provide the greatest service to their guests. The overall hotel experience will exceed anyone's expectations! Le Petit's great ambiance and awesome bartender/artist (Stef) was the greatest!

this hotel is fantastic - everything about it and the people working here is great - rooms food the rooftop pool - sublime! and the staff are the most friendly and helpful I have found so far!

The hotel was perfect for my 4-night business trip to Los Angeles. Convenient to both Downtown LA and Century City/Beverly Hills. Gym was out of service, but the running path through Beverly Hills along Santa Monica Boulevard is great. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to everything. The rooms were very cozy and better than we epected. The roof top pool and garden area was beautiful. The elevator was a little slow, but we had a good experience there.

This hotel is outstanding and it is definitely flying under the radar. A great property situated in an excellent part of town. Within walking distance to great shops and clubs on the Sunset Strip. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an extremely comfortable hotel with an attentive and friendly staff. The breakfast on the rooftop is also excellent.

Le Petit is located in a lovely West Hollywood neighborhood, close to major thoroughfares, Peets Coffee, and more. The roof-top pool and lounging areas offer a wonderful view of LA. The service is great. Frankly, we felt as if we were in Europe at a family-run small hotel.

Lovely, individual touches, such as hand painting on the walls. Definitely does not look like a chain. Beautiful rooftop pool. Be aware that they charge $25 extra a day for parking. They didn't tell me that.

I've stayed at Le Petit several times and have been happy with it. It's close to Beverly Hills attractions and has great amenities, like a rooftop pool deck with comfy furniture and a fireplace in my room. Its residential location is a plus.

Fight off the first impression, it gets much better. The employees were great even at 2am when we arrived at the hotel. The next morning I began to appreciate the beauty of it all. The old country French decor,the distinct colors and designs of the carpent in the rooms and at the narrow hallways. It's been half a century since I last been in a such small, cute, mirrored elevator which I fell in love with it. I walked the narrow local streets, bordered mostly with beautiful landscape, men and women passing by, walking their dogs early in the morning. Within few blocks, I came across cute side walk coffee shops and various restaurants. It is located about ten minute taxi ride from Rodeo Drive, where we spent hours sightseeing, and having a wonderful lunch at one of the fancy restaurants. We wished we had more time.

Hotel was fine but nobody told me that there was no restaurant or bar in operation Clearly there will be shortly but it is not right to only find out when I arrived that the only way i could have a drink with a friend was in my bedroom with room service I do not know who was at fault the hotel ot yourselves

Excellent staff and service. Very attractive decor with comfortable bed and bedding. Bath linens and toiletries provided were better than found in most hotels. Quiet, residential neighborhood.
