I have been to several hotels in Nurnburg and the Nestor has by far, been the best. The staff is extremely professional and very courteous. I ate at the hotel resturant and the food was delicious. It was a great experience and i cant wait to experience it again

Nestor hotel had helpful staff, and recently renovated and comfortable rooms (one of the few places we encountered that actually had a double bed rather than two twins pushed together!) Hotel breakfast isn't cheap, but there are several bakeries down the block as an alternative. There are a few nearby restaurants, but I would recommend eating in the old town anyway. Take tram 9 from the main train station (follow signs to street level, trams leave from across the street from the station) to Juvenellstrasse, hotel is just up the street. Tram 4 takes you from that same stop to the northwest gate of the old city, which is very pedestrian-friendly and worth the visit. Overall good value hotel, would recommend.

Location is away from the city center, though a tram will take you to train station or old town. You may also walk to altstadt Kaiserburg in about 15 minutes. Hotel is in okay condition, shower stall too small. Internet service is very expensive, but you can walk to internet cafe couple of blocks away.

We took the train to the main train station. From there we jumped on the above ground tram out front heading toward Thon. You will arrive right in front of the Nestor in roughly 7 stops. Not far at all. We reserved three rooms and they put us all in rooms next to each other on the top floor. Rooms are not huge but they are modern and fine for two people even with our five suitcases. Flat screens on the wall along with refrigerators. Some rooms have tubs so request that if you want one. For some of us they included breakfast. Otherwise, it was 15 euro each which we didn't think was worth it. There is a convenience store right across the street as well as some restaurants and bars and a surprisingly upscale McDonalds right around the corner that is walking distance.

Very accomodating. Made a cup of coffee just for me at 4:30 am and made taxi reservations for me. The rooms are clean,quie, airy,and mine included a balcony. Easy walking distance (15 min) from old town or a 5 min. tram ride. The airport is only 15 min. away and the taxi ride is around 12 Euro. The Nurnberg train station is also easily assesible via tram. I would most certainly recommend this hotel for the price.

The Nestor is located on the northside of town providing easy acces to the airport or business in Erlangen. It is a 20 min. walk to the Castle loced on old town. The hotel was clean with a pleasant staff. The restaurants in the area are local and very good, but, english is sparce.
