The hotel room looked like it was decked out with cheap 1970's decor. Also, it seemed a little far away from the airport. I also noticed a few hotels that looked newer and closer to the airport in the same price range. We did order room service and the brownie was wonderful.

Nice for a quick stay. Relatively inexpensive for LAX and a good value

Great Hotel for overnight stay near the airport.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, the location is great for the airport, the hotel is one of the smaller ones in the area, but the staff is very nice and helpful. I will use this hotel again when in the LAX area.

Works for "passing through" and business travel. Good value especially with cafe offerings, internet and reasonable airport parking.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The location was great - very close to the airport. The shuttle runs continuously, for trips to/from the airport. The complimentary cookies/fruit were a bonus!

Very nice, standard business class hotel, but the TV is in an akward location - almost impossible to watch from the bed and impossible to watch from the sofa.

Beautiful room, very quiet for only being a few blocks from LAX. My stay was comfortable and the staff helped in everyway possible.

This hotel is not bad, but definitely not good for anything else than overnight stays at LAX, for which it is more than satisfactory. The service was good, but there were some things that irked me, like the fact that there were no drinking fountains, or that none of the vending machines worked properly. Luckily, the night attendant at the front desk gave me a bottle of water for free, otherwise I would have been drinking from the tap. All in all just an average place, good only for overnight stays before catching flights at LAX.

The Courtyard by Marriott LAX was good, clean and convenient although the room rate was on the high side and the parking charge was a little more than others. If you are coming in or out and using it as one night before or after your flight use one of the longterm parking garages which can be as low as ~$13 per night.

The hotel is fine and close to the airport. Shuttles are efficient. The fitness centre is very small and the lobby has a smell of cooking during mealtimes because of the restaurant. Otherwise, the hotel is a good choice.

While in LA, I found the Marriott LAX an ideal ocation with easy access to the airport and to the major highways. The staff was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate their guests. The breakfast buffet was more than ample and very reasonably priced. Thank you for making my time in LA so memorable.

very impressed by hotel, shame only for 1 night, did not like driving in LA so pleased with shuttle service at night. would recommend to others.

The staff was nice, and room was ok. I was disturbed, however, as I was getting ready to leave, I checked under the beds, as I always do to make sure I didn't accidentally push something of mine underneath. I found several food wrappers and a pair of dirty socks. Pretty gross.

I was in Los Angeles for a basketball tournament, traveling with four 6 ft plus players! The room was more than adequate and the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The only negative I had about the hotel was the parking. While in LA, most have a vehicle, this hotel has NO parking, and as a hotel guest the cost of valet was a bit much to me! The overnight airport lot behind the hotel was $6 cheaper!! Aside from that, I believe the cost of the buffet breakfast and dinner are bit expensive, when most hotels are offering "continental" or some type of quick pick me up.

College age daughter needed a lay over on her way home for the summer. It was easy and conveneint for her to do alone and she felt safe and comfortable.

The charged me twice for soemthing that I paid for in cash and when I tried to correct the situation, they couldn't help with the situation. I told decided it wasn't worth the hassel and maybe they would use the extra money to update the hotel and get a better staff.

The room smelled but the beds were comfortable. Close to the aiport, which was nice. But the front desk booked us for postage stamps that we paid for with cash. We tried to fix the problem the staff was not helpful. I told them to forget about it cause they could use the extra money to fix up the place.

Hotel was nice and clean. Friendly staff, great location by LAX. Only negative, the hotel key we had for the jacuzzi area did not unlock the door. Staff provided a new key and all was good. Definitely would recommend this stay. Business center was a nice feature.

Although we had our room reserved for 3 nights the newspaper I intended for bednight reading was gone when I returned for the evening. When I asked at the desk for a newspaper I was informed they were not available on Sunday. Worse yet being a NON-morning person my food in my daughters Hawaiian souvenir glass left in the frig was missing the following day. It had probably been taken out with the newspaper but I didnt look for it that evening. I was livid. I would have been perfectly content and actually more satisfied if they had given me breakfast instead I was offered a free nights lodging. Certainly that is worth more than breakfast. Point is they dont have good communication with their housekeeping staff or their customers. But the manager did work hard to pacify me so Im sure others will find their stay perfectly acceptable. Just was not up to my usual Marriott standards.

I chose this hotel because they told me there was a refridgerator in the room because I needed one to keep medications cold. The one in the room was a joke. It was caked with ice and more or less useless. I will never stay there again.

Hotel was very nice, little confusing to get into for someone not familiar with the area. had a bit of a problem with noice next door by a bunch of kids on spring break. laughing hollaring, running up and down the halls, music blaring around 1am. my daughter and I had to get up at 4am to catch a flight. I called and complained to the front desk. the music was lowered for a short time and was a little quieter but then all hell broke loose again. needless to say we got up late with 15 minutes to spare to get dressed and freshened up to check out and return our rental car.

Very nice hotel & rooms. Only complaint would be that only vallet parking is available for $16.00 a day

You have to pay $16 for parking plus tip the valet. No complimentary breakfast. The continental breakfast is $9 per person, a nicer breakfast bar is $12 per person. However, the room was very spacious and clean.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for only a day/night, but long enough to enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this hotel. All the staff was very polite and gave us anything we needed.

Beautiful hotel, free shuttle to and from the airport. This was a stopover on our way home - what a nice treat. Hotel service was great.

The hotel was excellent overall--outstanding location near the airport (just minutes away), up-to-date and clean, well maintained, and friendly staff. While a shuttle ran to and from the airport, we wanted an evening in LA, so we rented a car. While we had read that there was self-parking at the hotel, once we arrived, the only parking that they provided was valet that was very costly (since prices change, it would be good to check on this before going). The only disappointment was that we were not informed of this until we got to the hotel. On the other hand, the car rental locations are only minutes away from the hotel as well--so it makes the overall location very convenient for a night in LA before going to a final destination.

the room was nicely appointed and the location was great for a one night stay preceding a flight.

I called to ask about price of parking and breakfast and was told one rate got to the hotel was told a higher price. the initial lady that checked me in was rude and had a attitude. the rest of the staff at the hotel was very welcoming and courteous.
