Pros-The manager/workers were very helpful and provided good customer service. The hotel is within 5 minutes of the Falls and attractions. Cons-Jacuzzi was cool. The toilet was broke in one room and the other room we switched too didn't have any cold water. No cable; no elevator; small 13' TV. This was definitely a basic sleeping quarters only.

The hotel was in a state of renovation. But, it still was a nice place to stay. Would use them again. The only thing that I found to be a problem is, the hot tub was warm instead of hot.

Even when I bargain shop and find a good deal I expect to have a clean hotel, good service and not feel inconvenienced staying at a hotel. That was not the case with this Days Inn. This hotel has given the Days Inn chain a bad name, in my book. I was not warned about the remodeling, but even worse - I killed two bugs in the room, couldn't get enough towels, the pool was about 50 degrees - the hot tub about 90 (not hot). The staff all (but the night auditor on duty when we checked in) seemed like they were new since they didn't know what they were doing. The only thing this hotel has going for it is a pretty good location along the Niagara River.

The hotel staff were amazing. And so was the bartender at the attached resturant. A cab ride to Clifton Hill was at least 15 dollars each way. Ouch. But there was a neat monestary right down the road. The only cons of the room was there was no fridge, and kind of off lighting. The electric fireplace was awesome! Will be staying here on next trip.

As soon as we checked in we should have known something was wroung. The hotel had water leaking everywhere in the lobby!! Our room had a hot tub fir two in it. The jets broke and there was this gross film in it. The hotel have us me the money I had spent upgraded to the hot tub room back but we still paid for the room. Good luck if you stay there.

The issue with the hotel is the restroom. There was no fan in there, so after taking a shower, the room as completely steamed up. Also, the neighboring rooms must have been smoking because even though I selected a non-smoking room, when the room got steamed up, it smelled like cigarette smoke. The fireplace was a nice touch. The heater had an awful smell when it was turned on.

Room dirty upon arrival,toilet very dirty, spiders and flies all over ceiling in room. Dark reddist brown stains on mattress.Spa area: pool had scum floating on top and dead flies.Hot tub same, broken tiles on floor of spa. TV did not work, no maid, did NOT change bedding , empty garbage, absolutely NO service, you are on your own. When complained to front desk, said not their fault will pass on message...so basically blown off.

Our room was clean but nothing special. One lampshade was damaged, television remote was broken, only one small bar of soap, not enough towels. Repairman who came to fix the remote reaked of cigarette smoke; so did the remote.

The hotel is a good 10 min drive from the falls. if you happen to go on a peak weekend expect to drive around the traffic and walk for 20-30 mins. I had paid for breakfast which was provided as an option when booking the room. All we got was a few toasts and fries. Full service breakfast was available if I upgrade with $5, which was not mentioned when booking.

Recently a friend and I stayed at this hotel. We only spent one night. The location is superb because it's just off the main drag just outside of all the hustle and bustle. It's very easy to find and because it isn't right at the falls it is much less expensive than some other hotels. The room for the price is about what I would have expected. It could use some improvement though, the cable didn't work in our room which wasn't a huge issue because we were out sight seeing anyway. The bathroom could have been much cleaner, there were fruit flies all over. The rest of the room was clean.

At my recent stay to canada this particular days inn might be good for someone who is on business and not really looking to be pampered while on vacation......i expected the air conditioner to work and the employees to be a whole lot more helpful i remember using the same towel for three days because we never received new ones i also remember not having pool towels when we visited the hotel, the hot tub was broken which is a large part in me booking that particular hotel and also in the guest services book it says they had a few things in case you forgot to pack them for your trip well when i went to see about these items they were out of all of them.......no help there.....also the advertisement states that the restaraunt located in the hotel had a breakfast buffet for only such and such price....come to find out they didn't have a breakfast at all they had it a year ago...so there are many updates that the hotel needs to make to menus and advertisements......

Nice room for the money - we would stay there the next time. Folks behind the front desk when we checked in were very nice. The extras like discount tickets for eating to buying souvenirs were appreciated. Location was ten minutes from the Falls and the free shuttle service to the Falls every 30 minutes was great. Didn't have to move my car for two days and we felt safe walking in the area.

The hotel room was fine. It was exactly as you expect. There is no continental breakfast, but they do offer a lunch at the restaurant next door. I was underwhelmed by the staff. Every time I went the front desk (to check in, check out, and get my key re-authorized) no one was there and I had to wait for service. Other than that it was perfectly fine and the transportation to and from the falls is convenient and well done.

We stayed at the hotel but one thing is the front desk had to buzz you in if you went in through the back door. The hotel had a smell in the hall when we first entered and the air conditioner was broken in the hall. The hotel did not have a frig. nor a microwave so you could not keep leftovers for your stay. Also the water pressure in the room was a problem, I got burned twice because some in another room turned on the water or flushed the toilet. They should have mixing values on the showers. We will not stay at this hotel again.

the hotel room was ok. the bathroom was dirty! there was a call button at the back entrance that you had to push to get in to the back entrance. when you pushed it, sometimes you were standing there waiting for a few minutes for someone to respond to it! we had booked 2 rooms. the second room was suppose to be 2 double beds, they has a booked for ONE KING bed! we had called the day before and changed it to the doubles, they claimed that they never got the call to change it!

I'll start by saying this was about the 6th time I've stayed in this hotel and for this trip the night before I was at the Caesars Windsor (which was excellent..). This days in is definately not the fanciest place in the Falls but by far one of the best values. The rooms are spacious and well kept, the staff has always been extremely friendly. It is however a older hotel and it shows some of its age. I booked a double queen for this stay mainly because a king was almost twice the price. Upon checkin I was asked if I wanted a upgrade to a king with jacuzzi at no cost because they were running out of 2 queen rooms. I of course said sure. :) The room was very nice, I had been in one of there jacuzzi suites before. My only complaint was the bathroom was kind of small. However the room, bedsheets, floors, etc were all clean. The original room I booked also was to come with a free breakfast so I stopped down later and asked if I was supposed to get some type of voucher as I didn't at check in. The girl at the front desk (different from check in) checked my room, apologized for the inconvenience and gave me our vouchers. There staff each time I have been there has been very friendly. One other thing about this hotel I like is that its about 2 miles from the falls which makes it a lot quieter. But for those looking to do site seeing or gambling they offer a FREE shuttle service that runes from 5pm until 11:30pm from the hotel to the two casinos (which are easily walking distance to the falls). This was during the week..I believe the hours are extended on weekends. This gives you a extra discount since parking at the falls is now $20 a day. Plus the shuttles are clean and quick and you don't have to worry about your car. Also parking at the hotel is also free, unlike a lot of the hotels right by the falls. If you need a decent hotel to sleep in each night and don't mind taking a shuttle to the falls (or your car and paying for parking) then this is a grea

once they get the improvements done it should be nice. When we were there there was only 5 channels on t.v. when asked about it they said they were waiting for the comopany to put in an elevator first. They ran out of towels, the shipment never came in.

The hotel is on the older side and it is very basic. The stairway smells but rooms are fine.Just make sure you avoid Room 201 as we heard not so many pleasant things about the plumbing there. Otherwise for the price it is okay. The Whirlpool Aero Car is walking distance and there is also a free shuttle bus that takes you to Casino Niagara (near the Falls) and Fallsview Casino.

The room had a furnace with the Pilot flame on all the time. The room was too hot for us to rest or sleep. The weather outside was cold but even after we opened the window all night, it was barely comfortable to sleep. Also the window had no fly screen so it was not protected from insects if you opened the glass door. The room had dust all over the place (was not properly dusted), the carpet was not clean and overall we felt an unease at the cleanliness of the room. Also bathrooms have no ventilation, so the hallways reek of toilet smell when you walk past them. I am not going there again. It would spent a little more and get a better and cleaner hotel.

I did a weekend trip to Niagra Falls and must say I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn North of the Falls the staff was very courteous and accommodating,and only minutes from the Falls and the buffet breakfast was simply fantastic,and the staff their was super.

My only complaint is that when I called the hotel and spoke with the clerk, she stated that the shuttle was still operating every hour on the hour. When I got to the hotel, I was told that the contract ran out and that there was now no shuttle. So much can happen in 24 hours. I had to pay about $60.00 in parking for the two days I was there to park in the falls area sine the hotel is about 1.5 miles away. Other than that, I was happy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Beware that the prices are very expensive in the city. My wife and two kids went to Denny's for breakfast and it cost me $55.00 and we all got water!

Hotel was ok for the price. It was somewhat dirty, but staff was nice. I would recommend staying next door at the best western fireside. Comparable price but nicer hotel.

The hotel staff was wonderful. They answered all my questions about the area and events to do. The hotel is on the older side and needs to be renevated and updated with regards to lighting, heating, and bathroom finishing. It is clean and excellent for overnight stay.

I asked for a smoking room, they gave me a non-smoking room. When asked about a smoking room they told me there was a balcony outside, but our room had no such thing. The front desk clerk gave me an ash try 2 hours later. The air in the room was so dry that my wife had to sleep with the air condition on. The hallways were awful. They were scattered with pieces of garbage and not once vacuumed while we were there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is in a great location. Its close enough (about 10min) to the main drag and entertainment area's but far enough to get away from it all when you want to. The Room was clean and comfortable, the staff was great. WE enjoyed the pool and hot tub to relax after a day of walking and sightseeing. Would stay here again and recomment to friends.

The beds were very comfortable, but the 10 extra dollars for the "River View" room is nothing special. The Fireplace was nice, but it heated up the room very fast, and the timer on the dial made a loud clicking noise. The bathroom was clean, but the door would get stuck every time it was closed all the way. Only 3 TV channels was disappointing as well. They have a convienent free shuttle service to the Casino which runs very frequently so we took advantage of that.

the room wasn't very clean, the table could have used a good wipe down. The air didn't seem to work really well. only stayed two nights and was only at hotel for sleep, so it was a good value their, wouldn't recomend it, or stay their in the future.
