Hampton Inn North Of The Falls - Niagarafälle

Ich hatte das Hotel aufgrund der guten Beurteilungen gebucht, die ich nur bestätigen kann. Wir hatten ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer das uns zugewiesen wurde, roch aber so stark nach Rauch, daß wir um ein anderes Zimmer baten. Das haben wir auch sofort und ohne Probleme erhalten. Die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel, die Betten superbequem. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber. Das Hotelpersonal ist stets hilfsbereit. Als wir nach einem Internetcafe fragten, um unseren Onlinecheckin für den Rückflug vorzunehmen, wurde das gleich selbst erledigt. Im Preis inbegriffen ist ein Frühstücksbuffett, das keine Wünsche offen läßt. Vom Hotel fährt alle 30 Minuten ein Shuttle ins Zentrum, so daß man bequen zu den Fällen und der Hauptgeschäftsstraße mit den Geschäften und Restaurants gelangen kann.

Good vlue for the money. The shuttle to and from Niagara Falls was a definite "Plus".

We were close to the elevator and heard a loud noise whenever it was used. Outside of that, room was nice and breakfast is very good.

Very friendly staff and conveniently located. Our only two minor issues was that the room smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room and the pull-out bed mattress had defective springs. Housekeeping sprayed the room which helped and we would stay at this facility again because of the outstanding service.

hotel was not too far from falls.. about a mile or two..and the people mover tickets was sold right aross the street.. which was good thing.. the white water walk was aross street too,, the down side is there free breakfest...not a lot to choose from..i had better fuller breakfest at other hotels for the same price range. my biggest reason to pick this hotel was for breakfest.. i had a big group of family and did not want to o lookin for breakfest spots...i was hoopin for a big breakfest to hold me off for a late lunch..the rooms a was clean and nice , but the pool was small and not so clean

Beds comfortable; staff extremely helpful and cordial; breakfast more than adequate. Shuttle service to downtown and casinos excellent

I really liked the hotel and the price was great. The free continental breakfast in the morning was very high quality and the free shuttle service was great! The shuttle came often and the location of the hotel was not an inconvenience at all due to that factor. It was actually probably better to stay just outside Clifton Hills because it was nice and peaceful outside and you aren't right in the middle of all the action in the tourist district when you are sleeping. However, the hotel doesn't have the best sound proof walls. In the morning we were awakened by the loud talking of people in the adjoining room and whenever someone uses the water upstairs we could here it very very loudly flow through the pipes in ours. Also, the comforter is white and ours had some gross yellow stains on it so we threw it on the floor for the night and consequently were very cold.

The hotel was fine, the breakfast not especially intresting, it is away from the city area, and the hotel has shuttle service. But if you want to stay out you need a cap for the return. Please notice that it is on the cannadian side because there is also a River Road in Niagara US, and that can trick a gps routeplanner. But all in all a okay hotel placed a bit away from the falls.

we requested a non-smoking room, but the room we got reeked of smoke that lasted the 3 nights we stayed there. we couldn't transfer to another room because we were told there weren't any rooms available.

Located by the river, right next to the white river walk and also next to the people mover stop, you can buy adventure pass at a store (with ATM) close to the hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had filling breakfast. Though it was slightly away from the falls. Staying at this hotel you can completely avoid the crowd in the clifton hills area if you drive or use people mover to go the falls and have meals at places like table rock. FYI, people mover bus mostly operates between table rock and rainbow bridge after 9 pm. Plan accordingly.

we needed a place near the train station and this was it. very good location.

When we checked in our room was not very clean. The carpet was soiled and had a deodorizing powder on it that created a cloud of dust when walked upon. This deodorizer powder gave off an extremely strong odor. I was concerned because my wife and children have asthma. I asked to be moved to a different room, which the Hotel management was not able to accommodate until the next morning. They had housekeeping vacuumed the room and we were able to make it through the night. The next day we moved to a different room and the rest of our stay was perfect.

The Hotel is pretty good considering how much we paid. The room is nice and clean and the hot breakfast if very nice. One concern is the noise from next door. It seems the wall is quite thin and we can hear their conversation at night.

An average hotel with breakfast perks that were substantial. The free bus service to the middle of town was FANTASTIC! A fair price for what you received. Good for families as well as those who don't want to be in the middle of it all.

Hotel was good, but phone charges were excessive. If you go to Canada, be ready to overpay for everything. Go to Niagara Falls for 2 days, then move on.

Most of the staff was very helpful, especially the breakfast ladies, who were very busy refilling containers for breakfast. The shuttle was convenient to get to the attractions, although there was still some walking. The room was quite comfortable and well maintained.

Our second time staying at this Hampton Hotel ... we like the value for the Niagara Falls area. Rooms have comfortable beds and are clean; lighting could be slightly improved. Few TV channels, but we weren't there for the TV. Bathroom was fine. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Morning breakfast is very good - fruit, pastries, hot entrees, cold entrees, etc. It does get crowded in the late morning. LOCATION AND GETTING TO THE ATTRACTIONS ... This hotel is part of a small group of hotels a couple of miles north of the falls that have a shuttle bus continually taking guests to and from downtown every half hour from about 10am to 11pm. It is very convenient, and just about every downtown attraction is within easy walking distance of the shuttle drop-off points unless you have serious mobility issues. We rarely use our rental car anywhere around Niagara Falls because the shuttle bus works well. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially in printing our airline boarding passes from the internet at no charge. If we go back to Niagara Falls again, this hotel will continue to be one of our top choices if its prices do not skyrocket.

The Hampton Inn is fine, it is clean and comfortable. The only two qualms I had about this place were the smell of stagnant cigarette smoke in the rooms & hallways, and the mediocre front-desk help. Not excessively friendly or helpful. The room was clean, though, shower was good, beds were comfy, and there's a small pool & hot-tub to spend time in with the kids. Continental breakfast was decent and shuttle service to Falls area every 1/2 hour a plus!

Outstanding, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was exactly what I expected with having read all the reviews. The location is good for if you want to be near the attractions but not front and center.(could walk if you wanted to) The shuttle bus, free parking and daily breakfast was a plus. The bed was one of the most comfortable that i have ever encountered in a hotel. The only complaint was that our room was suppose to be non-smoking but when we first entered you could smell stale smoke right away. i would stay at the hampton inn again and would recommend it to others.

I am so pleased to say my stay was fantastic. The hotel staff was very accommodating and informative with giving directions and suggestions for things to do and see around town. The hotel was minutes away from the main attractions in Niagara Falls. The hotel shuttle took us down town so that we could walk to the falls from their. You must know that the walk to the falls is not as close as you may think, but it's a nice walk that takes you through heart of the city and a nice park. Breakfast was good at the hotel and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and it was just overall perfect. What I liked most about the hotel's location was that it was close enough to the main drag, but yet off the beaten path were you could have some privacy. The hotel is also located on the path that leads to the wineries in Niagra on the Lakes which are a MUST do if you visit Niagara Falls. Peller Estates is a must visit! Look no further, you will not be disappointed in choosing this hotel. I will return again.

This hotel would be great if it only had a refrigerator & microwave in some rooms.And a variety of T.V. dinners

I was surprised by the comfort, condition and service of this hotel according to the price I paid for. Our family never stay in Hampton Inn before although we travel a lot. It's difficult to find one hotel can fit every family member's need (we have two teenage boys) especially with good price when traveling. But we definitely love this hotel. The comfortable bed and complimentary breakfast (the food and service is very good) is our favorite. The shuttle bus is convenient. The only complaint is the fitness center is small and some machines are broken. But with this price, I will not put too much deal for this. I also will agree for other's review about thinking Hampton Inn as basic hotel if their hotel chain can keep the price and quality the same as this one.

We were traveling with 5 children, the hotel was very child friendly. The staff was extremely helpfull at check-in with giving us information about the area.

i stay at hampton inn's quite frequently in the US. when we arrived, our room was about 45 degrees. it took the better part of the evening to warm it up... overall, i was bummed. the breakfast service was not the greatest either. just a disappointing experience overall. quite surprised to see this from a hampton inn.

We stay in Hampton Inns whenever possible as they are usually very consistent with service, cleaniness etc. This Hampton Inn was fabulous... the beds had new mattresses with great pillows. The (hot and cold) breakfast was great and the food replenished in a timely manner. The entire facility was extremely clean. Free parking and a shuttle to the falls... everything to make our stay more enjoyable. We have absolutely no negative comment to give.

Hilton Hotels do not restrict smokers from smoking in nonsmoking rooms. We walked into one room and the smell of cigarette smoke was so strong, we had to move to another room. We were told by the manager that nonsmoking room is only a request. I would like to see the Hilton hotel chain charge guest who smoke in nonsmoking rooms, as some hotels do.

Location is a bit too far to walk to the falls, so we had to drive, but found parking on the street. The room was very nice, clean and tidy. and a good size. there was a shuttle to the falls but it was not running for some reason that day.

The stay at this hotel was as expected. Clean room, friendly staff & nice service. For the price I paid and given the reputation of Hampton Inn, I expected nothing less. I would have been happier with the bus shuttle taking us to all the tourist spots as opposed to just 2 leaving us to make our own arrangements for the rest. Overall I am satisfied with my stay.

The staff was polite and helpful with knowledge of the area. The room was well kept and comfortable.

They were great at providing a crib for our infant. That was greatly appreciated. However, the carpet was so dirty that my socks were black after only walking on them for an evening. Also, the comforters need to be washed more frequently. Our infant developed ring worm which was likely picked up from the comforter where she was sitting.

The only negative about this hotel was the breakfast. When stocked it was very good, but they did not restock in a timely manner. They would run out of many things before filling up.
