Hotel liegt in der Nähe Penn Station daher alles schnell erreichbar Zu Fuß nur wenige Minuten zum Times Square Hotelzimmer sind etwas klein geraten wir hatten zumindest ein eigenes Bad Zimmer wirken auf den ersten Blick etwas abgenutzt und schmudelig sind aber mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt Zum Schlafen reicht das Zimmer alle mal Personal ist nett und hilfsbereit

Das Hotel ist für Sightseeing-Touren durch seine zentrale Lage ein guter Ausgangspunkt. Die Zimmer sind einfach eingerichtet aber sauber. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und in Ordnung. Das Personal in der Lobby war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Es war ein lautes, abgenutztes und zugiges Zimmer, ohne Komfort. zentral gelegen.

Das Hotel besticht einfach durch seine super Lage. Sobald man den Fuss vor die Tür stellt, ist man mitten im Geschehen in Manhattan. Super! Auch nachts hatten wir kein schlechtes Gefühl die Straße langzugehen. Das Personal war super-nett und das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gesäubert. Außerdem wurde zu der Zeit als wir dort waren renoviert, wovon wir aber auf dem Zimmer nichts mitbekommen haben, kann also sein, dass es jetzt noch besser geworden ist. Klein aber fein, so sagt man zu sowas. Ich würde wieder hinfahren! Viele Grüße! Tanja

Wer auf eine zentrale Lage Wert legt, nicht aber auf Luxus, ist in diesem Hotel richtig. Am besten nicht zu viel erwarten, dann gibt es bei der Ankunft auch keine "Überraschung". Das Hotel besticht weder durch ein ansprechendes "Äußeres" noch durch Service und vermittelt vielmehr den Charme einer (Jugend-) Herberge. Aber: Die zweckmäßigen Zimmer sind mit guten Betten ausgestattet und an der Sauberkeit (!) gab es nichts auszusetzen. Und das zählt nach einem anstrengenden Tag in NYC....

The pictures of the rooms give the impression of being modern and luxurious. The room was run down and was misrepresented in the pictures. The bed was a thin cot, with a thin bed spread. A tiny t.v. was high up on the wall. There was no shampoo, conditioner or toothpaste. The iron was out in the hall way. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great because it was only a two minute walk to time square. It wasn't horrible but it was a little pricey for what the room actually was.

Just overall not what you would expect when going to a hotel. Did not provide towels until we asked. Holes in the walls and cracks on the floors. Hair in our sink when we first arrived. The shower was very moldy and dirty as well. Would never suggest to anyone.

rooms are much older and messy than in the picture. when we came we had to ask the housekeeper to clean the place and change the bedding, there was no paper in the restroom and not enough soap. it is cheap it has a good location, all the service people is very polite and receptive. if you just need a place to sleep and leave your stuff it is ok. but for a little extra money you can find a better place.

The hotel was located 4 blocks from Time Square, and within walking distance from many other attractions. Clean sheets, friendly staff, great price!

My stay was a disappointment and not quite what I expected. I arrived at the hotel at noon and was informed I may check in early for an additional fee. I opted to check in after 3 PM and was able to leave my bag at the front desk so I didn't have to drag it around all day. I returned around 7:30 PM and was informed that my room was not ready yet. I had to wait 25 minutes while my room was being cleaned. The room was hot, the bathroom was not the cleanest or in the best of shape (rusted heater was falling apart and hanging on the floor), bed was uncomfortable, and towels and toilet paper were jammed in the windows. The morning hotel staff were very pleasant and accommodating unlike the evening hotel staff. This hotel was not worth the money.

The rooms are bare bones, but they're clean, the AC works, and the staff is very nice and helpful here. I'd recommmend this place to anyone staying downtown.

My boyfriend booked this hotel and it was a mess just to get into the place, let alone sleep there! He got it b/c I wanted to be near the train station, but when we got into our room, I was shocked at the overall condition of this place! The blankets were scarce and felt-like. The floor was a mess with dust bunnies and dirt about, and there weren't even curtains on the windows...it seemed to me that the curtains made their way as the bed spread covers instead of hung over the window. I would NEVER stay here again and the price...let's not even go there.

This hotel cut towel in half to the size of a mat or hand towel. They towels had stains, holes and ragged edges. There was no wash clothes and there was gum on the bathroom floor. The was no closet to hang clothes and no towel racks, just a few hooks. The bath tub stopper was disabled so you couldn't fill the tub. There was no tissues, just toilet papaer. There was no glass to use in the bathroom or for water. If you go here consider bringing your own towels and linen. Staff was nice.

It should not be allowed by authorities to work as an Hotel.... simply that!

The rooms are sub standard, hostel more then hotel

I normally never leave reviews on the hotels that i stayed before, even if i like it or not. HOWEVER, this hotel is an exception. This hotel is the most worst hotel i ever stayed on. First of all when i came in to check in, i ask if they have a microwave in the room, because im staying for a week, they said no, if i want to heat my food i have to go downstairs to heat it, there is no ironing board and iron in your room, i believe there is only one per floor, but i didn't even bother. SO i was already upset, when i came inside my room it look like a storage room, they didn't even paint it well. The whole room smell bleach, so i have to buy air freshener, i went inside the bathroom and they have NO TOWELS instead TOWELETTES, the bed is HARD and the pillows are thin and smell bad. Cant even watch TV properly because the signal goes on and off. AC is old and noisy. Also, i hang the "Privacy Please" sign outside the door, but housekeeping keep knocking on my door, while i was sleeping. Guys, stay away on this hotel, its just so bad its not even worth it even if its cheap.

Front desk staff was the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered! Hotel is older building with outdated furnishings; however, for the price, it was a good value for being in the theater/Broadway area. Maid service was sporatic. Live music from nearby lounge/bar could be heard until approx midnight (Thurs, Fri & Sat nights). Still, for the area and price, I would stay in this hotel again.

The maintenance is poor, the hotel is loud, the towels threadbare. It is not nearly as decent as the pictures. It is worth it to pay a little extra and be able to get some sleep. The only redeeming quality is that the staff was very nice and helpful.

Sub-Hostel level of cleanliness and comfort. Nice enough staff, but that is all.

The location is great!! We did check in at around 9pm, they gave us a room that wasn't ready, but quickly upgraded us to a suite, that was good and fast it was clean and comfortable. For the price and location I would consider it for my next stay in the city.

Rooms were done by the time we came back in, 2 hrs. later. It was pretty quiet at all hours of the night.

the hotel was very clean and neat...the heat was very good and the bed was also comfy...the bathroom was very clean and the room was spacious and even came with a small closet with hangers to hang clothes was very convenient..loved the room for the price and was very close to major sites and attractions!

The staff is super friendly. But the room was 53 degrees when we entered, never got to more than 60 degrees, lacked radiant fins on the one small steam pipe supplying heat. The door didn't fitht e frame allowing light and noise to enter the room. The two double beds were all of 5 inches apart. This would be an acceptable hotel only in the worst of Solviet Era USSR. Simply the worst experience I have EVER had in a hotel.

I have had better experience in "budget" hotels than was offered here. Granted, I checked in during a deep cold snap; the thermostat was turned off in the room, and I was told the room would heat up in a few minutes. After an hour, I requested and received a new room, but it was not a whole lot better. Also, the hot water was not consistent, and it had to run 5 to 10 minutes to get it hot. If it had been summertime, heat and hot water would not have been issues. Also, be aware that while the hotel states that WiFi is available in the rooms, they charge 10.00/day. When I protested, they did relent. Actually, the service from the front desk overall was good. The location is convenient; the price is right; but the heat and hot water problems during a period of extreme winter weather loomed large.

Hotel is in a very scary area. The New York police advised me to be very careful walking back t hotel from closet parking 3 blocks. Hotel sent me to"suppose to be open parking and after search ask ploice where parking can be found theu told me and also tol me to be very careful. Rooms have 3" between beds and touch each side wall. faucet on sick loose and bathtub drain did not work correctly. debris and general upkeep questionable.

For the amount, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very helpful and kind. I would go back again.

I needed a last minute RSVP in NYC at Christmas time. This was the cheapest I could get for a one night stay near Penn Station. It was a place to flop for one night. For the price I paid, it was clean, but a disappointment. For an extended stay, I would not choose this hotel.

This place is not good, and it is "420" friendly, which means you will be walking through clouds of marijuana smoke. If you are a business traveler DO NO STAY HERE!

The price was the only thing I didn't like about the Hotel. It was in a great location and the staff was nice.

Don't do it it is just plain bad

I needed a *cheap* hotel room at the last minute for one night just to sleep after scheduling a dinner with friends. This was perfect. Great proximity to Penn Station (and subway), acceptable neighborhood, private bath -- and a rate that couldn't be beat. Room was worn, but looked/smelled clean when I arrived. Shower was great, room was decent sized, staff was pleasant. My only complaint was how noisy the hotel was -- very thin walls with little sound proofing. Beyond that I was pleasantly surprised. For the money this hotel was great.

more like a hostel than a hotel, not recommended

The staff is nice and are trying to do the best they can with what's available; hopefully the renovations will make it look a little nicer. It's a small, old space but the location is perfect. I had a queen bed (uncomfortable), 13" tv on the wall, and a few shelves. If you need a place to sleep for 1-2 nights, it's OK, just know you're only renting a bed and shower. I think the price should be lower, at about $100 I would probably recommend it.

PROS: - Telephone. - 3 pillows. - 4 wall plug outlets. CONS: - 2 small pieces of soap (1" x 2"). - No towels, just 3 wash clothes. - Television clarity was blurry and minimal volume. - Air had an unpleasant stench. - In the night, can hear construction noises (drilling & moving pipes) and other guests using their bathrooms; all through the walls. - Wall had one section where a piece of it was cut out (2' x 2') but was duct taped back in place (not sure of reason behind that). - No trash can. - As soon as you step outside the hotel, you are met with overstuffed trash barrels. In conclusion, ONE OR TWO DAYS: Hotel may do. THREE OR MORE DAYS: Definitely not worth it.

I was very displeased with the hotel room. The towels were barely larger than hand towels and had holes! There was chewed gum stuck to the bathroom wall and soap dispenser!! I could have lived with the small room (barely large enough for the queen-size bed and a space to walk to get to the bathroom), but the walls were in desperate need of paint, and the room smelled musty because there was no way to get any air flowing. Also, there wasn't any room for a wardrobe, so I could not even hang my clothes!! The carpet had stains. While most of the front desk help were friendly, one in particular was rude. My train didn't leave until 4 that afternoon, and they have a room to leave luggage. BUT you had to pay $2 per bag!! I have never been to a hotel that does this. Also, be cautious when using this room. You are allowed to pick up your own luggage, so anyone can walk in and pick up any suitcase without showing any kind of proof. The only redeeming quality of the hotel: its proximity to Madison Squaare Garden and to Times Square. Sorry for the stream of consciousness, but I just wanted to reveal everything that I thought/felt.

A perfect location cheap hotel if your looking for no extras or particularly bothered with decadence, rooms clean and comfy

I was looking for an affordable place to stay for 2 nights while visiting my son. That is exactly what I found. You are only a few blocks from Times Square...Empire State Building and Broadway. There was still some construction going on in the lobby and hallway but it did not interfere with me.The only complaint I had was that the bed was very hard. The bathroom was good and the shower was the best part...lots of pressure and very hot. To me it was just another New York experiance...

I think the worst hotel I have stayed in, the room was dark, noisy, and minimal. No expected services. No window to open, no wardrobe

this place is in a great place two blocks from time square but with the worst codition, very old hotel
