Holiday Inn Express San Diego-Old Town - San Diego

The hotel was comfortable & in a good location. We were able to walk to little shops & restraunts. However, you better be in the mood for mexican food because that is what a majority of the restraunts in the area are. We were only 5 min from Sea World, Mission Beach, etc. They served a good breakfast with a choice of cereal & yogurt daily or your choice of a hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy). They also had bagels, pastries, coffee & juice. We would stay here again.

I don't want word to get out how really good this Hotel is! That's because the next time I wanted to stay there they would be sold out of rooms. I had about the best vacation of my life (I'm 75)with son and daughter and four grandchildren while staying at this hotel.

San Diego is an expensive city, finding a decent hotel for a good price was hard. The Holiday Inn in Old Town has a GREAT location, one might say it's almost unbeatable, you're close to a bunch of points of interenst and to the airport. It's not a trendy hotel, but it's clean and the service is really good. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to pay for parking, but I guess a lot of hotels have that now.

This website is a third party reservation meaning that your going to get what's left over and not what you want. I asked for a two bed room for three people and they gave me a king size bed. I asked for my money back and there was no refunds. And parking is 12.00 dollars a night

People in the courtyard late at night talking can be a pain. Ashtrays in the courtyard encourage smokers to smoke in front of your room. Some minor inconveniences but overall not bad.

The ceiling above the bath tub began to crack and chip off and looked as if it had never been properly repaired. The floors of the bathroom were also dirty. And on top of that the money I spent was not worth the stay and the hotel double booked my room that I had specifically paid extra for a room with a balcony.

The hotel is older and needs some updating. No work out room. The breakfast was crowded each morning but the food was not good.

IT HAD LUMPY UNEVEN FLOORING,IT SMELLED FUNNY, IT HAD A NICE STAFF THOUGH,WONDERFUL LOCATION, THEY JUST NEED TO REMODEL THE PLACE.

I chose this hotel because it had the highest guest rating in the area. I feel like I stayed at the wrong one because I wasn't satisfied at all. The only plus side was the location. There were hairs everywhere in the bathroom, a chip on the bed, it smelled, etc. And to top it off, although this wasn't the hotel's fault per se, there was a child crying & screaming for the duration of our breakfast. Oh, the breakfast was good but that alone isn't enough to stay here. And over the phone I was told there was complimentary parking but it's $12/night.

Very clean and service oriented hotel. Great business hotel, we were on vacation and the hall door slamming started at 5am every morning. Do not have enough parking spaces for the rooms, parking is $12 a night.

quiet neighborhood and still close to where the action is. Friendly staff.

Clean room and excellent location. The service was very good. I will definately be back.

un hotel a recommander pour la gentillesse du personnel,le petit déjeuner sympa,la chambre spacieuse et confortable et surtout pour sa situation idéale pour se balader et sortir dans old town sans voiture.Le petit plus :la navette pour l'aéroport!
