This is a good, clean, express type hotel for airport stays - I stayed the night before an early flight and it was nice, quiet (even though my room faced Westminster Highway) clean and had the services I needed - a bed, a computer and printer to check in and print boarding pass, coffee and parking. Great value for the price.

We had expected a simple room that was clean and tidy however I found our room could have done with a good scrub and the breakfast included is not all that great. Parking iss free which is a bonus. Still close to the airport but there are closer hotels that are better. I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

The front desk lady was not very helpful when our TV did not work. She tried to pass it off for a bunch of different things and tried to make me feel like I did not know what I was talking about. It was not until I threaten to speak to her supervisor did she finally call maintenance. This guy was great and helpful. He fixed our TV in less than 5 mins by getting us a new one. Location was good because there was a great Irish bar across the street that had great food and service.

Decent hotel in a decent location for the price. The main bus line to downtown vancouver is only a few blocks away. We would've preferred to ride the rail system, which was also in the same area, but it wasn't scheduled to be completed until later in the year. The hotel is also close to the airport and a free airport shuttle was available, but we didn't need it. The accomodations were decent. There was a fridge in our room and a gym on the first floor.

Free airport shuttle. Adjacent to a lovely park with beautiful gardens and walking paths. Very nice location if you want to be near the airport and have time to enjoy a walk in the park.

This hotel is in good location and offers complimentary breakfast. Other than that it was not very impressive. The elevator was very old and it was not very clean either. The air conditioning in the room was old and noisy. We would stay somewhere else next time.

Great room for the money

Parking was tight, but the staff moved their car so I would have a place. The room was small, but clean and nice. I had a balcony, which was my main criteria. There was a nice pub just one block away, check-in and check-out was fast and easy. We got down to the Breakfast a little late and there wasn't much left, but it was more than I expected for the price.

Personnel were very pleasant and courteous, from the driver who picked us up, to the front desk staff. Elevators, hallways and our room was comfortable and clean. Free breakfast and WiFi were pleasant and welcome surprises. Corridor rugs could use shampooing.

It's a bargain hotel, and for what you pay, you get a lot. The rooms are small, but clean. Internet access and parking are all included. The airport is nearby, and it's within walking distance of the Richmond Curling Club as well as the Olympics speed skating oval.

This hotel is quite dated although the rooms were nice and clean. Our room had two queen beds but was very small and not really adequate for the three of us staying there. The hotel is very convenient to a number of restaurants but it takes ages to drive into Vancouver. It is quite a long way and the traffic is terrible. I would stay nearer the centre next time.

We stayed here before taking our cruise to Alaska. Close to the airport and the shuttle from there helped. The breakfast was excellent for a "free continental breakfast". The park behind the hotel was lovely and we enjoyed walking there to relax after our flight. Everything about the service and room was good.

The "parking" is problematic. One must exit the car to swipe the key card and open the gate to the garage, and it doesn't always work. Also there is not enough parking for all guests. And the clerk who checked us in did not give us a pass for parking or explain that, with a pass, we could park next to the building when the garage is full. We found this out asking later. Continental breakfast was good and attendant there was VERY helpful. However, having the room made up ranged from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. making it hard to plan use of the room. And the people making up the room sometimes asked if we just needed towels or if we wanted the room "made up" giving the impression that they did not want to make the bed, etc.

The best thing about this hotel was the park that is behind it. Be sure to take a walk along its paths and lake....lovely and calming.

Hotel is very close to the airport and that is the only good point.Workers were terrified of the manager who wasn't friendly at all. Hotel is very small and old with old smell. Indoor parking was a plus. I asked the manager for an address in down town Vancouver, he was rude and lacked major customer service. He rudely told me unless I a tourist for the first time in Vancouver tell him exactly where I want to go he can't help me or give me direction. I asked him if he could just direct me to center of down town and he flat out said NO!!! I found the address from mapquest, through the hotels half working computer. It was missing the letters on the keyboard!!! One of the maintenance guy gave me direction. By the way it took me 15 minutes to get to down town through only 3 major street!!!. I have never heard someone not being able to give direction to down town in any city or country for that matter. Stay away from this awful hotel and management.

This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a very cozy feeling and was nicely decorated. There's a beautiful park behind the hotel ideal for strolling...breathtakingly nice with waterfalls, ducks, geese, many rabbits running around. Very peaceful park. Great Irish pub across the street where food was excellent, especially the fish & chips...it won many awards and I can certainly see why. They have a scrumptous sheperd's pie...best I've ever had! Portions are huge!

Hotel is adjacent to Minoru Park - a 200 acre garden - peaceful and beautiful! ask for a balcony at rear of the building, you'll hear lovely Oriental music playing in the morning. Mall is within walking distance. Across the street, there is a free shuttle bus to the casino. We highly recommend staying here. We'll ask for 3rd floor, rear room next time.

We found our room modest, clean and served our overnight needs perfectly. The breakfast was not U.S. continental: a staff person prepared fresh eggs and was present to see that everyone was satisfied-a nice surprise. The only point to underscore: Transportation to the hotel-at the Vancouver International Airport, Ramada Inn does not send a shuttle without being phoned. Even though vans from other hotels are making the rounds, do not wait for one from ramada unless you call ahead. Within minutes a van will come to pick you up. The airport personnel do not know this.

Everything was great except during the night we could hear an icemaker machine running even though it was down the hall and around the corner. Room was big and bed was comfortable. There was a great Greek restaurant right next door.

Great service starting with the shuttle, courteous desk staff, clean comfortable room. Good restaurants and mall nearby. Beuatiful park for taking a stroll located right behind the hotel - don't miss a walk in this park.

The room was certainly not special or extravagant, but it was more than adequate and was very clean. The continental breakfast was excellent with warm scrambled eggs as well as the normal continental fare. The only problem I had was getting picked up at the airport by the shuttle. I ended up taking a taxi for which I feel I was overcharged. The shuttle driver delivered me to the airport the next day and was extremely helpful in every way.

No parking when returned at night. The sheet is not clean and smell!

Sorry to say the hotel was very dirty and not at all what we expected. Unfortunately we will not be returning.

Initially I was skeptical considering a not-so-great experience at another Ramada Limited location. However this time restored my faith in Ramada. Free parking, great location & complimentary continental breakfast tipped the scale toward these guys, you won't find deals with this combination at any other hotel for what we paid in this town.

We had to wait for our room to be cleaned. After we moved into the room we found hair in the sink and tub and dirty towels on the back of the bathroom door. The floor had not been vacuumed. Bottle top left on the floor. When we notified the desk--the clerk was defensive and did not send housekeeping to clean the bathroom. The room had a strange chemical odor which we could not identify. The sheets did appear to be clean. We asked to speak to the manager who was not available and would not give us his name or phone number. The desk clerk said they were not responsible for compensation because they did not make the reservation. Fortunately we only had to stay overnight. They did call a taxi for us the next morning at 5 o'clock.

Room was not ready on time. It appeared that the hotel was understaffed and could not meet the patron demands.

Very Noises, unfriendly

We requested this hotel due to proximity to the airport as we had a very early morning flight. We did not know that there was a bar in a hotel across the street that catered to young people who partied loudly outside after 2 AM. This was very difficult to get any sleep before leaving the hotel at 3:40 AM. In selecting a room, it would have been nice to be informed of more quiet accomodations for us.

This was a good stop after getting off the cruise ship. Close to sights and eats if you like to walk and are not afraid of getting out on your own! The staff was not real helpful on locations around the area.
