It was my birthday the day we stayed at the hotel. We had gone to the allstate arena for a concert which started late. We arrived early to check in, rested in the comfortable suite that we had. My husband took along his own drinks we put them im the refrigerator that came with the suite. We left 15 minutes before the concert started. After the concert while there were traffic jams in the parking lot we were walking across to our room. The breakfast the next morning was very good only thing there were not enough seating for everyone and we ended up standing.

This property is sufficient for those that need to be close by the airport. neighborhood isn't wonderful but you can hardly expect anything different this close to an airport. Nearby inexpensive food options worked out well.

Will want to ask for a top floor if have any trouble sleeping because the first night the people above us kept us awake all night. However, the management gave us a different room and the rest of the stay we slept well. The queen pull out is not comfortable but they put a roll out bed in our room and my daughter slept great on it.

I needed a hotel, for a one night layover at Ohare airport both at the beginning of my trip and at the end of it. On the first stay, the hotel met my expectations perfectly. The shuttle picked me up at the domestic terminal without being called. The hotel was typical of most Residents Inn. There were no surprises with the hotel. And there are many food choices within a short walking distance from my room. This includes a IHOPs and Panda Express, Subway and an excellent Arabic Restaurant. Nearby was a Target which was extremely useful for picking up last minute items. The breakfast was good and filling. On the way back from my trip I encountered a few problems. I arrived at the international terminal and was told that I needed to call the hotel to get a shuttle to stop. I called but didn't tell them that I was in the International terminal so the shuttle didn't show up for a while. I would recommend if landing in the international terminal that you find the airport hotel screens, call the hotel, and clearly indicate that you are at the international terminal. They also changed their breakfast hours to 6 am to 8 am. If you miss breakfast, don't worry too much, you can just walk over to IHOP and grab something to eat there.

Selected this hotel because the rate was good and it has an open-air pool. In the event we did not arrive early enough to use the pool and had to leave (on the convenient shuttle) for our flight before we could sample the included breakfast. Suite was on the smallish side but everything worked OK. Front desk was helpful.

great hotel, nice rooms, great pool and tennis/nasketball court for the kids. free parking (hard to find in chicago) close to aiport, which is convenient, but if you're not flying, it's not the most conevenient neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Residence Inn O'Hare. My husband was going on a business trip in which he would fly out and return in the same day, so my 16 mo. old daughter and I came along and enjoyed a day of shopping in Shaumburg. Overall the hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations. There is a dinner buffet mon-THur, which we were able to enjoy one evening. The hotel employees grilled burgers and brats and provided all of the fixings. It was great for us not to have to leave the hotel. If you do need to leave the hotel there are a number of restaurants and stores within walking distance, including a Chili's, Steak-n-Shake, and a Target. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Overall we had a great stay and would return to this hotel again!

The hotel is old and is in need of updating.

Very nice 2 room suite and very clean. Surprisingly quiet even though planes take off overhead. Staff was very nice. Will stay there again.

Great Room/ suite, comfortable bed, would stay here again

What happened to the Marriot/Residence Inn breakfast hour policy? Breakfast was available from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. only. After traveling all day with a young child, arriving at O'Hare very late, there was no way we could make breakfast. Luckily, there was an I-HOP nearby. Why the change in hours? I noticed there was a written apology posted in the room. Lots of complaints and disappointments, it seems.

The location of the hotel was convenient. The breakfast was good and hotel was clean. I have no complain and would stay at this hotel again.

As we checked in, we were greeted by very friendly fronk desk personnel. The room we were assigned was large and spacious and clean. They provided free dinner buffet as well breakfast buffet. What a great idea for a hotel. My daughter decided to go swimming after dinner. The pool was kept clean. We asked for late check out and the hotel did not have problems with it. What a fantastic experience I would definitely stay at this hotel again. This is what a hotel should be.

If you're surfing hotels.com like I did, you might as well stop now and book here. The room was awesome--nicer kitchen than I have at home--bathroom nice, bed comfy, etc. Good neighborhood, near a variety of restaurants and Target. Very quiet for as close to O'Hare as it is. Didn't use the pool, but looked inviting. Staff was very nice, breakfast buffet outstanding. Would defnitely stay here again!

Over the years we have stayed in many hi-end resorts and convenient budget travel hotel/motels. This was the best for the cost. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The amenities were excellent, and if we had children with us, the tennis court/ basketball court, and swimming pool would have been perfect for them. The mini suite was nicely decorated and the kitchen/sitting area was full of extras. We would stay again.

This was our second visit to Chicago to attend a music venue. The first was terrible, so we really didn't expect much this time around. What a surprise we got!! The hotel was fabulous! Rooms were beyond our expectations, staff was super friendly,and the amenities out of this world. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

we stayed at the hotel for a concert across the street. the place was very very accommodating. i can't think of another hotel that i've been this pleased with.

Free Parking Free Internet. Very nice rooms with couch sitting area, full kitchen, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The shuttle took me quickly from the hotel to ORD. It ran regularly and I never had to wait long for the next one.

Saw the Britney Circus tour concert at the All-state Arena and didn't want to have to deal with traffic in and out and driving back to Wisconsin after the concert. The hotel is right next to the parking lot of the All-state, a 2 minute walk to the All-state. Free parking, free continental breakfast with Eggs, Potatoes, waffles, fruit. A "Target" store is nearby, as are other places to eat. I wish I could of stayed longer. Will definately stay at this hotel again when I need to be near O'Hare or the All-state. Great hotel!

This is our second stay in this location, and we were again extremely satisfied. Room was very clean and confortable. Check in and out took less than a minute. Services and ammenities are excelelent, so is the included breakfast.

The full kitchen is for me the best feature of the hotel, we travel with all baby food and stuff that needs to be in the fridge and we need the microwave to heat them....

The physical rooms are great. We moved several times because the individual central air units kept freezing and no longer worked. Also, there was poor communication between shifts at the front desk during our moves and things got confused. The staff was very nice it just was a little disapointing to keep explaining why we moved. We had to call several times to have maintenance look at the air the first time.........and, the internet was out for hours. I had to alert thestaff.......they did not know this.

Room is just perfect for everything you need. You have access to the internet and a kitchen right there to cook something or store some food while you wait. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable and firm.

This Hotel is within a short walking distance to the Allstate Arena; which is why I stayed. Typical Residence Inn accommodations. While very close to OHare never heard the planes, except when outside. Oh, while off topic, don't go see a concert at Allstate, worse acoustics @ premium price

Your website provides a 1-800 number for reservations that books through Hotels.com The final hotel bill slipped under the door on the morning of check-out by hotel staff indicates that an electronic copy of the bill can be sent via e-mail and to request it at the front desk. The front desk staff is not aware of this and when shown the info they slipped under the door they lay responsibility on a website that I obviously can't contact at the time of checkout. Most business travelers require a bill that shows their rate, taxes and additional (if any) expenses along with the method of payment. This is frustrating at check out and lowered my opinion of the front desk's efficiency after an otherwise impressive experience. Either have your website reflect the option to book directly with the hotel or have your staff aware of the proper procedure to arrange for an e-bill. Evening front desk staff was always a pleasure!

Hotel is in good condition and service was acceptable. No vending was available, which was surprising, but it is very near a Target store. For events at Allstate Arena this hotel is extremely convenient, it is a very short walk. Surrounding neighborhood was below average but I did not feel unsafe.

I strongly recommend this hotel. It's very convenienet to O'hare Airport and the Allstate Arena. Plus, they serve a hearty dinner (BBQ Chicken, Potato Salad, Mac Salad, Cole Slaw, etc.) AND a filling breakfast (Eggs, Sausage, Bagels, Waffles, Juice, etc.). The staff is extremely nice, and very accomodating. The rooms were VERY spacious-- we booked a 2 room suite. Mother-in-law had one room (w/private bath), my wife and I were in a separate room (w/private bath), and our 2 kids slept on the sofa bed in the living room area. Needless to say, even with the 5 of us, we never felt crowded or cramped. I'd strongly recommend this place again, and will definitely book this hotel when my travels take me to the O'hare/Chicagoland area.

Lobby construction made things a bit tough, but is an understandable interruption.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar in the morning was very nice also. Best part was being able to see the airlines fly over what was seeming like you could reach out and touch them.

Nice to have plenty of room. Nice and clean and convenient.

This hotel had everything we needed and more. A big comfy bed, a tv that actually worked, plenty of space to stretch out and a full working kitchen with refrigerator. The bathroom had an exhaust fan and everything was very well kept and clean. We'll be staying here again for sure, it was totally worth the price.

This hotel was wonderful and just what we needed. It is located just outside thee parking lot of the Allstate Arena so we walked to our show, by passing any traffic. The breakfast was delicious also!
