Sheraton Munich Arabellapark Hotel - München

Great hotel in a convinient location - The front desk was very friendly and kind. We were helped in locating places we wanted to visit. The swimming pool and exercise facilities on the top floor were superb. Great restaurant as well. Will return for sure!

sehr günstige Rate, für eine super Junior-Suite. Personal war sehr nett, Suite sehr sauber. Wellnessbereich im 22. Stock mit Ausblick über München. Pool war leider nicht sehr warm. Dafür 2 Saunen und 3 Dampfsaunen. Fitnessraum sehr spärlich

Das Haus ist arg in die Jahre gekommen, versprüht zuweilen den Charme der ex-DDR (Bar). Dafür sauber und günstig, schöner Pool auf der 22. Etage. Wen die Massenabfertigung nicht stört, bekommt einen fairen Gegenwert für's Geld.

Bei meiner Buchung ging ich davon aus, in einem 4,5Sterne-Hotel zumindest so viel Sauberkeit erwarten zu können, dass ich in meinem Zimmer auch mal barfuß laufen kann, ohne mich zu ekeln. Leider war dies nicht der Fall, da die vielen Flecken des Teppichbodens und der Bettumrandungen schon beim Betreten des Zimmers ins Auge fielen. Auch sonst hatte man den Eindruck, dass das Zimmer schon länger nicht mehr benutzt oder zumindest schon länger nicht mehr richtig gereinigt wurde: Zwar war die Bettwäsche sauber weiß, doch die Ablagen und auch die Türgriffe teils staubig und der Wasserhahn im Bad voller Kalkflecken. Auch einer der Sessel im Zimmer war nicht gerade einladend, da auch auf ihm Flecken und noch dazu Haare eines der vorherigen Bewohner des Zimmers zu finden waren... Da ich mich nur für eine Nacht im Hotel aufgehalten habe, habe ich diesen Zustand hingenommen, hätte ich einen längeren Aufenthalt geplant, wäre dies allerdings nicht in Frage gekommen. Trotz des beschriebenen Zimmerzustands war das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen sehr zu loben: Ein Buffet, das keine Wünsche offen ließ! FAZIT: Ich würde bei Bedarf noch einmal ein Zimmer in dem Hotel buchen, dieses Mal aber direkt nach der Anreise alle Mängel aufzeigen und darauf bestehen, dass sie beseitigt werden. Da das Hotelpersonal mir gegenüber sehr freundlich und bemüht auftrat, gehe ich davon aus, dass dies auch geschene würde.

Das Personal ist nett hoeflich und freundlich. Danke. Sie verdienen als Einzige absolut die fuenf Sterne. In diesem Sinne.

Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. War nur schade, dass das Hotel sehr voll war und wir das Zimmer erst später beziehen durften.

Das Haus (Ordnung und Sauberkeit) und das Personal bleiben hinter dem entsprechenden Anspruch.

Sehr schönes Zimmer im 17. Stock. Heizung und Licht erscheinen etwas umständlich intalliert. Heizung und Wellnessbereich etwas veraltet (70er Jahre) , aber ok. Frühstück hervorragend, Saal für die Größe des Hotels eher klein. freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Toller Blick auf München an schönen Tagen vom Dachstockwerk aus.

Ausgewiesenes Zimmer war nicht bei Bezug nachts nicht gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Auf Nachfrage gab es als Ersatz ein Zimmer-Upgrade.

Ich war von dem Hotel etwas negativ ueberrascht. Ein typisch Amerikanischer Kolloss mit einem komfortablen Zimmer. Die Heizung funktionierte nur binaer, also entweder eiskalt oder extrem heiss, womit die Raumtemperatur kaum zu regeln war. Dadurch war ein ruhiger Schlaf kaum moeglich.

Stayed here for 2 nights while going to see Oktoberfest. Enjoyed a swim in the pool, it wa very quiet on a Sunday morning. Pity breakfast wasn't included, that would have made things much better... Overall a nice place, booked at short-ish notice - I would look for something cheaper if everyhting hadn't already been booked.

After staying in series of 2 and 3 star hotels in Germany I decided to try this 4-star hotel as it does offer some good value room rates online but was disappointed: The hotel is far from the centre of Munich. My 'Non-smoking room' stank of cigarettes. I got a 4am wake-up call I did not ask for. You will probably pay more than the room rates as this is a money-grabbing hotel for example: Although every floor has two ice-machines they are 'out of order' - you need to order ice from room service for €4. The hotel provides internet access for €12 per hour. Also the restaurant is very over-priced (€12 for a glass of wine) and there are very few bars/restaurants near the hotel.

Bring an electricity converter.

Very fast internet and a room on the top floor looking out across a hazy October afternoon made my stay. Ordered room service which included a burger and that arrived somewhat old, stale and solid. Called back and it took 1hr and another call from me for someone to collect it. Once agreed the new burger came very fast and exceeded expectations. So all in all a small hick up.

The hotel was excellent, immaculate and very comfortable. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

I found the rate on Hotels.com much better than even at the Sheraton website. Several restaurants within a block. If you speak German, a movie theater is 1/2 block away...no English subtitles. Nice balconies. Internet is pricey. Check out an Internet Cafe...MUCH cheaper. Room has a minibar you can empty, then use for groceries. There is a grocery store 1 block away and the underground (metro) stop just past it. If you'll be there any length of time, ask about the 3-day or 7-day Companion tickets...up to 5 people travel on all forms of mass transit (underground, tram, bus) an unlimited number of times for that period. Very economical. Bus stop about a block from hotel and tram 3 blocks. 5-minute bus to English Gardens. The hotel was quite nice but there's another Sheraton Grand, right across the street. It probably cost a little more and is probably nicer but for the price, this was an outstanding deal.

As a tourist I like hotels that have a variety of shops and, especially, restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. Arabella is a very nicely appointed hotel facility but is situated is a rather uninteresting area. There are buses, trams, trains and, of course, taxis, very near by, so you can get around. It just seemed to take a lot of effort to do anything or to have a nice meal (dining at the hotel is satisfactory, but nothing special). One convenient feature of the hotel is a rather nice spa on the club level top floor.

The hotel was nice, the rooms were comfortable, but it was very noisy. The hotel doesn't own every floor of the building, so there was work going on above us that they could not control. In addition, the door on the room next to us did not have a control arm, and housekeeping let it slam continuously. If you want to sleep in on vacation, not the place for you.

Beautiful hotel, and suite- very comfortable. No alram clock, but convenient "wakeup call" button on phone. Very nice buffet, but waiters literally breathe down your neck while you eat, shadowing you to take your plate away as soon as you've finished the last bite- guess that's their job, but it's obnoxious. Location is not near the center of town. By car it took about 15-20 min to get to the center of things. Phone system is also set up so that even if you use a calling card to make an international call, you still get charged a per minute rate- I have NEVER had this at any other hotel in Germany, so that was a bit of a shock, especially to my credit card.

This hotel is a gem. The surrounding area is wonderful and offers all of the ammenities. Shopping, Food, Sites, Parks, etc. You literally won't need to leave the immediate .5 mile radius. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, jacuzzi, whirlpools, swimming pool, massage, botox, etc. This is all overlooking the city with a perfect view of the skyline. The staff is also courteauos and helpful. The next time we travel we will look for a similar hotel.

the Bogenhaus Sherraton Arrabella is located pretty central to the New Convention Center and Marienplatz area... a good location if you are there for Business but want to get out on the town at night... i would definitely stay again!

Good hotel for doing business in the area. Though there was some kind of work going on near my room which was quite noisy in the late afternoon and early morning.

The room was quite large. It was also very close to the subway.

So great to get to city, Convient and beautifully decorated

hôtel très bien situé, à quelques minutes en métro du centre (station à coté). la piscine est très agréable au dernier étage, la chambre aussi avec une superbe déco, la literie est top, avec une vue superbe sur la ville

Generelt var det en gennemført oplevelse og en rigtig god service hele vejen.

tres bel hotel avec tout confort mais l air conditionne rend l atmosphere etoufante

Le bâtiment en soi n'est pas beau, et situé un tout petit peu à l'écart du centre ville. Mais le confort est excellent. L'hôtel est agréable et propose des chambres avec une vue magnifique sur Munich. La piscine située au dernier étage de l'hôtel est aussi très agréable. Seul petit point négatif : le service est un peu froid, voire malaimable, pénible pour ce type d'hôtel...

The hotel is just a few minutes drive from Munich's old town. It is very clean and modern. Probably due to a fault with their IT system, when I got there they had no trace of my room preference, so they gave me the wrong room. When I complained, they upgraded me to a very nice suite, at no extra cost. Highly appreciated. I would definitely go back to Araballepark.
